The battle royale with WordPress continues! For some bizarre reason, the employee I am forced to deal with has decided not only to retreat from the Cash 4 Gold demand that I be censored, he has to be even snippier about the entire matter, wanting only to stop talking to me. This is hilarious as well as incredibly bad business sense. The techies employed by WordPress shouldn’t handle legal matters. The crude attempt at stopping me from reporting correctly is ridiculous. Anyone who claims to be a web host company has to deal better with these sorts of outrageous corporate attempts at controlling the conversation!

Um, this is Elaine Supkis, editor and reporter at Culture of Life News.You must make more comments here. I want you to pass this matter up the line to your bosses. I assume you are not the owners of WordPress. I need to talk to the upper management.
The upper management has isolated themselves from their customers. Unlike the freebie people, I am a REAL customer, not fake. The owners, I am assuming, want to MAKE MONEY so they can pay you. So it would be a very good idea to call them or contact your bosses and tell them I am very anxious to chat with them. This is very, very important.
I shouldn’t have to do something drastic about all this.
Already, I am publishing a running commentary of the complete failure of WordPress to deal honestly and forthrightly with me. If you are one of the owners, this is just shocking. If your job is to prevent paying customers from going up the grave vine to the top, this is bad news for your organization. I hope you understand where I am coming from.

I am very feisty. All reporters who report the real news have to be feisty. I even fight with my own readers when I think some of them are wrong. This is why people come here: for a good, rousing battle. One of the main functions of the internet is to allow ALL opinions to rage at once. This debate is ongoing, gigantic and important. The gate keepers who kept tons of information out of the public realm are in full retreat. But not gone by any means!

No one in their right mind would pay WordPress $100 to censor them. Wordpress has an obligation to show me all legal documents relevant to my blog. If anyone sends them any letters about me, these MUST be shared with me. If WordPress does all of this on their own, in the dark, and stabs me in the back with no warning, this means they are a bogus web host. They are NOT working for me, they are working for Cash 4 Gold who pays them $0. This is insanity.

If WordPress has no legal council, they should warn all of us customers of this and we can remove ourselves to better hosts who provide legal protection. That is, any legal stuff should be shared and the lawyers for any web hosts know that they must share with their clients, not keep them in the dark. Since I am totally unable to communicate directly with WordPress and must talk only to this underling who is rude and difficult, I must air all of this in public. I hope some genius at WordPress reads my blog today and smells the coffee. It is not just brewing, it is burning up!

In the future, if WordPress wants to have private conversations with clients, they should have a standing order with their underlings to pass on serious complaints that include telephone numbers and other information. Obviously, I am not some anonymous poster. I am Elaine Meinel Supkis, one of the first people on the internet, back when it was first born (I have been using it since it was a NASA operation!) that has always used my full name, address and other information. I am not anonymous. Anyone who wants to find me, can. After all, the CIA and FBI know exactly where I am. I wait with bated breath for someone who is responsible for the entire WordPress corporation to please contact me and straighten all of this out.

Interesting story. I think you should try to be nicer and less-accusatory in your messages to them. Clearly, the person answering your messages did not make the decision to censor you, etc.

I was nice the very beginning. Then, after no one answered my emails for many hours, I got really mad.
This is no way to run a business. A business model that involves chasing away PAYING customers while keeping the non-paying ones is a dead model. I would suggest anyone faintly interested in investing in WordPress to be very, very worried by my stories today.
I just emailed Klark. I wondered if this person works for WordPress. If so, we can open a new communication.
Demanding I be nice first is dead wrong, by the way. There is this old, old saw from before I was a child: ‘The customer is always right’ and I used to add, ‘Especially when the customer IS right in the first place!’
I suspect most of the staff at WordPress is very young and doesn’t know about this business as to how you keep customers happy. I will be glad to show how.
I learned today that one of the owners lives in NYC. This is not too far for me to travel. WordPress can pay me to go there and give lessons in how to keep paying customers happy and how to run their business better.
It may save their business from disaster!
I am absolutely certain sure that religion will not have anything to do with this inconvenience to you. AbSoLuTeLy sure certain, as certain as it is possible to be on this green earth. CK, that is true only to a certain extent. The ‘pain in ass’ customers who were NOT pains at all but were turned into ‘pains’ due to company incompetence are not replaced so easily.

If they are a utility, they become very unpopular (monopolies like Ma Bell or Con Ed, for example) and are eventually broken up. If they are selling us services or such, they go under.

that is correct… my company actually got served with a cease and desist after many warning over BULLSHIT… and we ceased some stupid picutre on our website… BUT WE HAD DOCUMENTATION… and that is law… if you pay anything they could save time and money telling BITCHEZ yo’… see a lawyer and submit a request for priveledge… at least that way both partys win… you could go on CNN and cash 4 gold could eat a ‘turd fag’

Still waiting for two names of companies that have gone under by alienating small customers. Popularity contests in the corporate world usually revolve around bottom lines and bonuses. Customers come and go, lose a few gain a few more.
