WordPress Staff Gets Rude With Me

Here is the series of emails I had with WordPress.  We can plainly see the technician who is very cheeky with me is totally unable to read very clearly.  He misunderstands exactly everything.  Since WordPress won’t talk to me directly, despite me giving them my phone number and since this illiterate and snippy techie hasn’t passed on my complaints to people higher in the organization, I have to use the public media to reach the WordPress people who are obviously and happily clueless.  This fight is similar to the fight I had with Typepad: the people running the organization, worried about being flooded by requests from users of the FREE service end up shutting out the PAYING customers!  El stupido grande!

Here is the first response to my complaints which were shunted via this goofy ‘fill out these forms’ complaint system:

It isn’t clear in this early encounter, what is wrong.  That is, I wrote about the problem at 8:30 am.  The complaint he is now responding to is from 10:45 pm which is an entire day later!  On top of this, he looks at the wrong thing.  So, I sent a second complaint:

He finally looks at my first web page and by then, it was partially fixed.  The censored warning was gone and I could finally publish.  But I gave him the url to the OTHER web page!  And he didn’t look there at all.  Note that he gets very testy here, as if I were a freebie who was getting a free ride, not a paying customer.  This is after I warned him to take this very salient fact into consideration.

Perhaps WordPress is delusional and thinks they are noble because they let freeloaders be treated the same as paying customers!  This is astonishing since we pay for BETTER SERVICE otherwise, why pay?  Secondly, he never, ever addresses the issue of my service becoming hostile and being a NON service.  Perhaps he was told to pretend there are no censors at this joint.  So, I try again to get through to this clueless and obviously rude and incompetent employee.  I assume this idiot is being paid to be rude to me:

Secondly, there is a second problem: I now can’t update any postings.  I just tried three times and it crashes.  I can’t update things.  Please look into it.  I am extremely upset about all this.

Also, you deny my screen shot is real?  It is real.  Here is the latest screen shot. Note the name of my wordpress blog at the top.  IT IS NOT FIXED AT ALL.

I even gave you the url to this page in the previous email which offended you so much and instead of fixing it, you get huffy with me.  This is NOT a great way to run a business.  Nor have you addressed my problem about your extreme slowness.  I couldn’t post anything for 12 hours and this was due to someone freezing up my blog due to what?  You did NOT explain this to me.

If you look closely at the above screen shot, it basically says I am being censored by your organization.  I did not pay you guys to censor me whenever some malicious person attacks me.

Please explain how this works and how you are able to censor me without any explanation.

When WordPress gets back to me, I will post their email.  I am using this story to illustrate how bizarre some online businesses have become.  The mainstream media wants to make money online.  The hosts of websites want to make money online.  I want to make money online.  We have to do various things to make money and WordPress is typical of how people do business online at various organizations that offer free stuff alongside paying stuff.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

If these pathetic businesses cannot differentiate between the paying and nonpaying customers, they please only the freebie ones.  That is, if something is free, people don’t care as much if they don’t work.  But the fury of people who PAY for something and it doesn’t work is infinite.  That is, we ask ourselves, ‘Do I want to interface with idiots, jerks and thieves?’

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

For it is THEFT to take money for service and then REFUSE to deliver it.  Making a paying customer wait 12 hours and then to insult them for being angry is how bureaucrats operate.  If WordPress wants to run a ‘business’ on the same model as say, where we get our driver’s licenses, with long lines and cops standing around to strong arm people steaming from waiting too long, I would suggest this is a model doomed to bankruptcy.

In hard economic times, businesses have to cut back.  But the FATAL cuts are where these businesses interface with customers.  The freebie users have swamped the staff at WordPress.  Instead of separating the paying from the nonpaying and concentrating on pleasing the paying customers, the paying customers are stranded in the same pool as the freebie ones.  And are drowning.

It is VERY disruptive for me to move my blog.  This next move, I will have a private URL and will have it set up so I can move to whatever service I can find.  Instead of moving wholesale and losing my url designation.  This really pisses me off.  I learned a harsh lesson this week: trust no web service.  I can’t tell if they are run by people trying desperately to avoid talking to their freeloaders.

And incidentally, this is also why so many web services are not great profit centers.  Wordpress, if you are clever, you would read my postings here and change.  I can’t call you.  I can’t seem to get past your huffy, annoying and laggard staff.  Whoever it is that is running this organization, I strongly suggest you contact me, pronto.  I sent you my phone number.  Go ask ‘Mark’.
