2012 Fear Follies

Humans are scared of the strangest things.  The latest fun death thing to fear isn’t the H1N1 flu vaccinations or even the Jesus ‘End of Times’ Apocalypse.  It is the supposed collapse of the entire planet due to a magic number day from hell: 12/21/2012.  This is a funky date, by the way. Since all calendars are based loosely on solar and lunar events, the coincidence of cycles of Venus with the lunar/solar rhythms causes religious hysteria.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

This is because since the dawn of humans observing the stars and using these to track time, this need to observe and track time has been very tightly connected with the parts of our brains that cause us to have religious beliefs. That is, ini order to pass down information verbally and via artwork from one generation to the next requires not thinking with the rational part of the brain but depositing this information in a very indestructible part of the brain.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

Which happens to be the same parts of the brain that is connected to our ‘fight or flight’ emotions.  If we go back in time to when humans began noticing stellar activities, it is quite likely that the very first belief systems clustered around the lunar cycle.  One of the chief reasons for this is sexual: women menstruate in tandem with the moon.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

The very word ‘menstruate’ is ultimately derived from the ancient word for ‘moon’. Last year, I wrote a very long piece about the connection between religion and astronomy here:  Understanding the Gods.  Here is a small sample from this story:

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

The North Star isn’t always the North Star! It shifts from star to star over the eons. When the star is no longer the same as the elders tell the tribal youths, there is dissidence within the ranks and the ‘old gods’ are thrown out and new ones must be created. This is a violent process, of course. People like to believe in what they are taught. And if they must change their minds, often, the only tool for this is murder. Either the old ones kill anyone who dares to point out that the stars no longer match the stories and are no longer the guide to the north, or over time, even stupid people notice there is something wrong and others who kill off any dissent, convince everyone finally, the new star is the new ‘god.’

.

. The creation of the Zodiac came after the creation of certain star clusters that are not Zodiacal. For example, we know there is a carving from 28,000 years ago showing ‘the Hunter’ in the exact same posture as all depictions of the star cluster, Orion. This carving, found in a French cave, is not just a coincidence since the posture: one hand in the air with a club, a belt, the other hand down, feet akimbo, is most unnatural. Nearly all pictures of hunters from 35,000 years ago onwards, show them sideways, not frontally. Only when they refer to Orion, are they frontal. And all the frontal ones look like the oldest depiction.

.

. Another very old constellation is Pegasus. Or rather, the Square. Both Orion and Pegasus lost their god status long, long ago and both have been relegated to rather bizarre and inconsequential stories. Another sign of their ancient lineage. The newer the gods, the more violent the passions and attachments to the celestial honors by the humans who create the newer gods. Every time the Zodiac shifts and as humans ‘move’ from house to house, from Taurus to Ares then on to Pisces and now, towards Aquarius, the battles of the gods that figure strongest in whatever ‘age’ that is dying do battle with the followers of the gods that are ‘rising’. The retrograde battles can be very ugly indeed.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

Modern astronomers have shied away from the entire topic of astrology and I find this very disappointing since it is a repudiation of many thousands of years of earlier astronomers who struggled to make sense of all the natural visual phenomena that surrounds us over our heads, that is, the ‘Heavens’.  To make order of all this, the earliest astronomers not only set up rocks and carved markers to track sun, moon and stellar cycles, they memorized this by turning all of this into stories which we call ‘myths’ if we are biased or ‘religion’ if we are believers.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

To train the young to accept information about the planet’s seemingly wandering movements or the fact that the sun will rise later and later and then suddenly begin to rise earlier and earlier or lunar/solar eclipses which were probably the scariest manifestations of godly ire…humans evolved as tribes while doing exactly this: passing on vital heavenly information which was needed for survival.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

For humans can lose heart if they feel the earth and the heavens are not stable and constant.  We see this today at the very pinnacle of human society: the fears of global warming are actually fears of change.  Despite knowing that our planet changes all the time, we want to freeze things with the present status quo while at the same time, doing whatever we wish.  Which is impossible, of course.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

A movie is coming out from the nightmare factory of Hollywood.  I dislike most movies because they drive people insane.  But it seems people want to have a degree of insanity in their lives.  So Hollywood has to cater to this.  Movies that scare people are very common.  Of course, scaring people over silly things is much preferred to scaring people over real things.  Real things make people uncomfortable.  More about this paradox, later:

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

2012 Prophecies Sparking Real Fears, Suicide Warnings

But amid all the hype—including a viral marketing campaign for 2012, the disaster movie opening Friday—some people are developing honest “end times” anxiety that has experts seriously concerned.

.

NASA’s Ask an Astrobiologist Web site, for example, has received thousands of questions regarding the 2012 doomsday predictions—some of them disturbing, according to David Morrison, a senior scientist with the NASA Astrobiology Institute.

.

“A lot of [the submitters] are people who are genuinely frightened,” said Morrison, who thinks movie marketers, authors, and others out to make a buck are feeding some of the fears….

.

Over the course of my entire life, I have fretted about the possibility that we will all die in WWIII due to the toxic connection between massive nuclear arsenals and religion.  Humans can launch a real ‘Apocalypse’ that could ape the Biblical story perfectly.  So I fear this possibility and warn about it.

.

But it seems there is a miniscule audience for sane warnings about nuclear warfare in a struggle for dominance with Muslims!  Even as the elites peddle these fears of nuclear bombs, attaching the entire onus to the Iranians, the masses are virtually unmoved by all this.  Even the Born Again End of Times believers are not seriously scared of this.

.

But if I were to latch onto IRRATIONAL fears and fan them, my readers here would be much happier, at least, the less rational of them.  The antivaccinationists, for example, are prey to fear mongering that isn’t attached to any credible incoming data.  So it is here: the 2012 fears are attached to nothing much at all except some astronomical tables that are interesting but of zero importance.

.

….”A lot of [the submitters] are people who are genuinely frightened,” said Morrison, who thinks movie marketers, authors, and others out to make a buck are feeding some of the fears.

.

Hucksters fan false fears and peddle silly nostrums aimed at fixing real problems. So they literally can kill two birds with one stone: you can die from the fears (stampedes, for example) or die from the cures (quacks keep no records of deaths or failures). For some odd reason, people trust hucksters! Hollywood is an infamous home base for all sorts of hucksterisms. Medical, political or economical, the list is endless.

.

Hollywood is responsible for poor historical recreations, for example. Indeed, the more they strive to make things look ‘realistic’ the less realistic the actual story is, compared to the past. The more the dress up the set to convince us we are seeing the past, the less likely they will follow the real record of the past or reflect how people acted or talked in the past.

.

“I’ve had two teenagers who were considering killing themselves, because they didn’t want to be around when the world ends,” he said. “Two women in the last two weeks said they were contemplating killing their children and themselves so they wouldn’t have to suffer through the end of the world.”

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

Hucksters may think they are having fun.  But they are killing people.  The Oprah Winfrey (she should be pulled off the air!) ‘guru’ who convinced people that if they went into his suffocating black Cave of Wealth and Death, they would be spiritually perfected and thus, gain greater wealth, is a huckster who is an outright murderer.  He even told the shocked victims of this scam that the dead participants decided to leave their bodies because they preferred to be in a better place and didn’t want to come back!  Pure Outer Darkness sort of reasoning.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

These purveyors of fear and death have no shame.  They don’t give a heck if people die because of what they sell.  And the people who fall for these dangerous scams are at fault, too.  The desire to be entertained coupled with the inability to understand how their own brains work leads to people making very bad choices.  Whenever paranoid religious fears of changes in the Heavens sweeps the planet, people go insane.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

For example, when the constellations that rise in the Vernal Equinox changes, many intelligent people go insane in predictable ways.  When the Zodiac constellation of Ares ceased rising at sunrise in the Vernal Equinox, this stunned the astronomers who actually tracked the stars.  Some Greek astronomers predicted the equinox would shift 500 years earlier.  But it still came as a total shock, seeing this actually happen.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

During the shift in star systems, a series of very great religions suddenly sprang up: Christianity, Buddhism and Islam.  Since it takes a very LONG time for the star shifts to be obvious, the spread of time for these new religions to rise up and take hold happened over a 600 year period.  For example, both in the Christian and Buddhist religions, many believers thought the world would physically end and everyone would die.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

So hermits became quite plentiful.  A big push to not reproduce led to monasticism.  People spent their days without sex, praying to save their souls before the End of Times.  Then, nothing happened.  That is, the planet didn’t blow up.  Humans didn’t get consumed by vast fires as the stars fell from the heavens!  So life went on. One thing is certain: the loss of faith always leads to collapses of civilizations.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

That is, people no longer believe in present systems so there is considerable chaos before the new status quo based on the new Zodiac stabilizes society.  Each Zodiac spawns different images, stories and beliefs.  For example, Jesus is all about 2 fishes in various incarnations and ideology.  Mohammed flew magically to Jerusalem on the back of a Pegasus creature (the Pegasus square lies right in the middle of the Pisces constellation and is very much attached to it).

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

Hysteria connected with the fading of the Pisces era is what really drives the ‘End of Times’ Apocalyptic fears.  So, along comes the ‘Mayan calendar’ fears to feed into this swamp of submerged astronomical beliefs and we get raging fear fanned by idiots who enjoy seeing people crash into walls or jump off of cliffs.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

NASA on crusade to debunk 2012 apocalypse myths | Raw Story

The doomsday scenario revolves around claims that the end of time will come as an obscure Planet X — or Nibiru — heads toward or collides with Earth.

.

The mysterious planet was supposedly discovered by the Sumerians, according to claims by pseudo-scientists, paranormal activity enthusiasts and Internet theorists.

.

Some websites accuse NASA of concealing the truth on the wayward planet’s existence, but the US space agency denounced such stories as an “Internet hoax.”…

.

…There is another planet, Eris, floating in space. But the dwarf planet similar to Pluto will remain safely lodged in the outer solar system and it can come no closer than four billion miles (6.4 billion kilometers) to Earth, according to NASA.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

Lurking deep in the asteroid belt and way out where there is a barrier of debris beyond Pluto, the semi-hemiquaver planet (a musical joke here) lies great dangers.  We know from looking at the other planets and moons that there is all sorts of violent possibilities of interstellar damaged from objects floating around this sector of the galaxy.  Mass extinctions on earth have been caused by these sorts of collisions.  We have to fear them, this is rational.  Here is an older story from a year ago about all this:  Space News: NASA Doesn’t Have Money For Tracking Killer Asteroids.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

We are so scared of all this, we don’t even bother to fund good NASA programs that might protect us!  This is typical of humans: we fear stupid things while ignoring real dangers.  I would suggest, we are hardwired to operate this way.  Why would that evolve?

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

Perhaps, worrying about real dangers isn’t all that useful to us in the long run.  That is, we all fear death and we all die therefore, fearing death is useless.  Or rather, we dealt with this obvious fear and even more obvious outcome by making up stuff.  That is, once we implant some sort of religious belief in our brains, we can deal with the terrors of death.  Armed with various magical spells and mystical wonders, we can face the inevitable with some courage and hope.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

Fear can cause death.  So the religious sector of our brain, a part that has been part of us since the first sapien stood up and looked up at the heavens, is ancient and very powerful.  And easily manipulated by cynics and hucksters.  For the belief centers in the emotional parts of the brain are easy prey to liars and con artists.  For it depends on honesty and trust.  This is why preachers can get away with all sorts of sins: everyone loves and trusts them thanks to this religious belief matrix inside the brain.  So the religious leaders can run rampant (and nearly always do this!).

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

Everyone uses the joke about drinking grape Kool Aid.  This is from the infamous mass suicide of the Jonestown religious cult who used cyanide to kill themselves because authorities were planning to move in and help victims of this cult, escape.  Recently, the noxious Scientologists were  subjected to an unusually intense newspaper examination: Scientology: The truth rundown | Tampabay.com St. Petersburg Times.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

It is about cult members who had to do extraordinary measures to escape physical prisons where they were being held against their will!  But Hollywood is very infested with these con artists who will never, ever make movies about how evil Scientology is and how they rot people’s brains.  Any more than Hollywood would make a pro-Palestinian movie.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

The various bizarre religious cults and even more bizarre belief systems of the internet universe are a danger to life and limb.  That is, these things can be killers!  There is a long, long list of belief systems that are either irrational or superstitious or outright frauds that float around the internet, unhinging people’s minds.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

This is happening because the internet is actually a mega-mind and is just as deranged as the average human.  I have said, since childhood, we are the Crazy Ape.  Humans think differently from other animals and I suspect this is connected to our ability to anticipate death.  This drives us mad.  And at the same time, lures us into wanting to die (animals do NOT commit suicide except maybe if imprisoned by humans and tortured by them).

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

We are paradoxical creatures.  We tame and protect animals and then kill them.  We make friends with each other and then kill each other over trivial and even stupid things.  We work hard to build up families and clans and hate each other with such passion, we have to have laws to stop us from murdering each other over issues like snoring at night, squeezing the toothpaste tube in the middle or other flaws.  The list of our personal paradoxes is very, very long.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

And one of the biggest to me is, how we fear stupid things while ignoring things that should scare us.  I don’t see mass demonstrations against expanding our nuclear arsenals or against the noxious religious wars we are waging!

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

The recent Ft. Hood massacre is an example.  The US military needs desperately for more Muslims to join so they can help us reach out to the Afghanis and Iraqis.  But we pay for Israel to abuse Muslims at will!  So there is a lot of anger attached to all this.  So, a Palestinian went crazy and attacked fellow soldiers and killed many.  This is happening inside Iraq and Afghanistan, too.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

That is, our ‘allies’ are shooting at us!  They don’t like us. And have no reason to like us.  Yet we are spending trillions of dollars we can’t afford, to be over there, hassling them.  And this is all very irrational, suicidal on all sides as well as futile.  Yet, we can’t stop!  Obama is going to send over more non-Muslims to fight the Muslims while telling them, we are their friends!  While the situation in Palestine gets much, much, much worse.  It looks like all the Palestinian Authority guys are quitting.  And handing over things to Hamas!

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

And the crimes continue.  We can’t find peace this way.  We can’t find religious sanity this way.  We won’t fix the world by blowing up Iran, too.  We have to worry about ASTEROIDS that can kill EVERYONE.  This is more important than global warming!

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

And isn’t being funded!!!  This shows clearly, humans are crazy.  A good reason to be scared to death.  Ooops.  Ah, the paradoxes.  In a few days, I will get my H1N1 vaccination!  I wish there was a vaccination against asteroids.  Heh.

  • Religions prey on everyone’s need to be understood, soothed and accepted. Its why cult leaders are so attractive. They are sociopaths who use these vulnerabilities because they don’t desire any of them. In fact they think them weak attributes.

What is more disturbing to consider is that our current major religions were founded on the backs of the same type of cult leaders. Its something no one wants to think about.

We are all vulnerable to cults, every one of us.

  • For the Rapture Ready, loonies, screwballs, wingnuts, and dumb fat McFuckers standing in line for vaccinations, please consider:

“The FDA is required by law to establish that a vaccine is safe and effective before it can be given to the public.

“To date, the FDA has produced absolutely no scientific evidence documenting safety tests for any of these swine flu vaccines. There are no published studies, no records of any clinical trials, and no publicly-available paper trail demonstrating that any safety testing was done whatsoever. There is no researcher who has publicly put their name on the record declaring the vaccines to be safe, and no FDA official has ever stated that scientifically-valid safety testing has ever been conducted on the vaccine / adjuvant combinations now being distributed across America.”

    ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

ELAINE: Your vaccination phobia is so huge, you can’t see anything at all. Vaccinations are safe, Even that stupid backward running cheerleader turned out totally OK. I hope you figured this out by now.

  • Do those receiving the vaccine have to sign a waiver? Likely not since the vaccine companies have congressional immunity from legal liability for their products.

Children are most subject to control via fear. Fear is the main controlling tool being used in US society today. I wonder if theses media fear bombs are being played out in other countries, ie China. I would bet that this is primarily used on the population of a declining civilization

    ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

ELAINE: no one has to sign any waivers. There is nothing fearful going on with the vaccinations. As for declining societies: these are the ones ravaged by preventable diseases.

  • Here’s a hilarious version of the 2012 movie trailer that cuts out all the special effects, and shows you what the actors performances look without them

  • The actual astrophysics are so wrong … But i hope the Sun does not get any kind of recharge in 2012.

  • I worry about few things but realistically a future event scares the crap out of me. It’s called *The Technological Singularity*. I won’t elaborate because you and your readers know how to use Google. The *Singularity* even has a Wiki page.

    ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

ELAINE: I have family members who worry about this. I find it rather funny. Reminds me of beliefs from 1900 where people thought technology was finished. Of course, we then did have WWI. But vast, ugly wars are a feature of humans in general.

  • justiceatsqualor

    @Randy

The “technological singularity” prediction happens to coincide with the culmination of the Chinese 50 year plan.

Rather than being scary, let me suggest that the theory is an intellectual sedative that keeps people from concerning themselves with peak oil, de-industrialization, and commodities shortages.

  • Light up a candle, don’t curse the dark . The world is made up of stuff .not ghosts or spirits, don’t let your brain float in the air. Come down to earth. There is dead matter and there is live matter, and it all in flux, it is contradiction in unity, it’s objective is the birth of the new and the dying of the old.
Nothing to be afraid off. Enjoy the struggle. I did for 84 yrs now.

  • PLovering,

The U.S. vaccines do not have adjuvants. However, the vaccine manufacturers did plan for the possibility the adjuvants may be needed, and are including them in some kits, it seems. See the Minnesota Dept. of Health:

    http://www.health.state.mn.us/divs/idepc/diseases/flu/hcp/vaccine/supplies.html

“Supply kits will also come with 10 large-bore needles, probably 18-20 gauge, that were to be used to mix adjuvant in the vaccine, if needed. However, adjuvants are not used in the U.S. versions of the H1N1 2009 influenza vaccine.”

You think that the evil local health departments, drugstores, hospitals, and doctors’ offices around the country are going to inject people with an adjuvant without their knowledge? Come on.

Note that other countries are getting adjuvants with their vaccines, and you’re right, the combination adjuvant-H1N1 has not been tested. However, adjuvant-H5N1 has been tested. See the Canadian site:

    http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/dhp-mps/prodpharma/legislation/interimorders-arretesurgence/prodinfo-vaccin-eng.php

Your web site (which simply refers to comments by an editor at NaturalNews.com about a FDA lawsuit) posting is wrong. The vaccine was tested on 3600 people, with no significant adverse events.

Please stop spreading fear and misinformation.

The FDA today in fact, sent a letter to doctors on the safety of the vaccine.

    http://www.fda.gov/NewsEvents/PublicHealthFocus/ucm189691.htm

“No serious adverse events attributable to the vaccine have emerged during the clinical trials, which have so far included over 3600 patients at NIH-supported institutions alone.”

“It is likely that most families in the United States will be touched by H1N1 influenza this year. Fortunately, many will experience mild illness. Others will endure unspeakable tragedy. The benefits of preventing serious consequences from infection with the 2009 H1N1 influenza virus far outweigh the risks associated with vaccination. All Americans, and especially pregnant women and others at high risk of severe influenza infection, should seriously consider the recommendation for vaccination to help protect themselves and their loved ones.”

  • Misinformation, fear, violence…that is our path.

Regarding the fear of homeland (how I hate that term) terror, it now appears, courtesy of Hardball that Hasan was 1) antiwar 2) muslim and 3) connected to 9/11 terrorists. The trifeca of that which must be feared.

Lots of talk about how we Americans must now be vigilant of…each other. We must look for signs of possible “terror in the hearts” of those who want to harm us.

Now that’s scary! And Obama steps into this existential religious war talk by pronouncing that Hasan will be punished in this life and the next. And the next? I suppose Obama has God on speed dial. Now why did Obama have to up the religious ante?

It calls to mind our priest’s homily this Sunday when he said that by surviving the carnage, Hasan was granted a rare opportunity to seek atonement for his sins, and redemption and forgiveness by God for this grave sin. I thought this an interesting take on the tragedy and one that I don’t hear from many Christians. Naive? Maybe, but isn’t Christianity built on the premise of redemption and soul saving.

I agree with Elaine in that I see continued fanning of fear in our future. No grace, no rationalism. Fear.

  • The future can be fearful! And we know there are inevitable aspects (we all die, even god-humans really died, no one lived forever). But despite this, we have to live our lives.

That is, eat, drink and be merry. We need to view ourselves as a society and act accordingly. That is, we are not individuals but part of various interlocking groups. Indeed, this is a major challenge: rich people, for example, think they can do as they please. Ditto, the very poor who have nothing to lose.

So what do we do? Well, I say, we work hard, raise our families, and build whatever we can (even if the military crashes a jet into a house I restored, for example).

  • By the way, when my house was condemned in Tucson, I left. Did I never fix another house?

Nope, I rebuilt many houses since then! And loved doing it. On top of this, I built my present house from scratch.

The military continues to fly jets very low over my house, I suspect, they do this deliberately. That is, the pilots can see my house on the mountain and fly very close for the fun of it.

I am paranoid about this but it won’t stop me from living here. Damn the jets! Damn the military! Full speed ahead! Heh. This is how we live our lives: recognize danger but not go insane worrying about every silly thing that pops into Hollywood’s tiny little brains.

  • Good points Elaine. Yes, life is to be lived and enjoyed and fear overcome. Ever notice how the the most fearful people are also the most unhappy? Sigh. I hate that America has succombed to fear.

    Jeebus, more misinformation.

Major vaccine suppliers, Novartis and GlaxoSmithKline, won’t even DELIVER an adjuvant free vaccine for the “ordinary” population.

The U.S. has said that it would be adding the adjuvant “squalene” to its swine flu vaccine at thousands of distributions center scattered across the country. $500 millions worth of “squalene” has already been purchased and is awaiting add-mixing at distribution centers.

Why have our soldiers been banned from contacting H1N1 Internet sites? Where is the informed consent for our soldiers?

    Ft. Hood was no accident.

The future is being defined today as a conflict of faith. If we have exceeded the earth’s carrying capacity, it also may become a conflict of population limits.

Throw the keys to the zionists and let them take the helm of the Bilderberg new-world-order, the central banking system and the Copenhagen energy limits. Then everyone else say “not me” step back and see who they put on a diet. The nazis would appear minor in comparison if anyone wasn’t planning on looking away. Guys like Hasan aren’t helping a billion muslims generate any sympathy to the contrary.

  • Plovering, stop lying and provide one credible link showing the US is planning on putting adjuvants in the H1N1 vaccine. The site you link is for Germany. I’ve seen probably a hundred pieces of information stating there are no adjuvants in the H1N1 vaccines, such as here again:

    http://healthin30.com/2009/11/h1n1-swine-flu-vaccine-fears-addressed-single-vs-multi-dose-adjuvants-thimerosal-and-more/

    “Q: (Barbara)

    A: (Bruce B. Dan, MD)
No adjuvants are used in the present H1N1 vaccine. In fact, no flu vaccine approved for use in the United States has ever contained an adjuvant.”

And after that, please show me one credible link or scientific study showing ingested colloidal silver protects against any disease.

I’m beginning to think that nobody can be so obtuse as you unless it is by design. In other words, I can’t believe you are that stupid. I’d rather believe you’re deliberately spreading misinformation. I guess I should just ignore you in the future, hard as that may be with your daily idiotic postings about vaccines going to kill us and only colloidal silver will save us from all disease.

  • While I’m being critical, and since someone said the only people left on this blog are Elaine’s “yes-men,” why don’t I point out to Elaine that she is one of only a few that makes religion out of the stars and takes seriously the pseudo-science called astrology. As if the position of the stars and planets in relation to earth can have any affect on human events on earth – umm, how exactly is this possible?
Talk about wishful thinking – “fading of the Pisces era” because one dislikes modern religion but embraces paganism.
Otherwise, agree that fear is not good, not even fear of the apocalypse or nuclear war. Fear destroys. Faith sustains. Yes enjoy life as the precious gift that it is. One never knows when it will end. My neighbor was walking home from work 2 weeks ago, hit by a car, and has been in a coma since. Family decided to remove all life support last week. She’s hanging on slowly.

    ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

ELAINE; Stating historical truth (ALL religions are attached to astrological beliefs) doesn’t make me a kook.

This is what is wrong: many modern religions are most anxious to pretend they have no astrological origins so they can go on forever. Note that all of the major new (2,000 year old) religions claim they will no longer follow the Zodiac and will have no crisis when the stars shift.

BUT this is false! Even they admit there will be a mysterious crisis and everyone will die and be reborn (obviously, when the Pisces star group ceases to rise at dawn on the Vernal Equinox).

Modern ‘astrologers’ are IDIOTS. They use star chart information that is OUT OF DATE by 2,000 years! HAHAHA. They totally ignore the shifts in the Zodiac equinoxes.

I just hate the revving up of religious conflicts. Period. Religious tensions always exist. I’d prefer to let them simmer on the back burner rather than fan the flames and allow them boil over and engulf the kitchen.

Ft. Hood incident has “allowed” Christians to feel justified in going all-in in the ME. Will the Americans follow suit and use this to morally justify an expansion of war in Afghanistan/Pak? This singular murderous act by an anti-war, Muslim, 9/11 contacting lone assassin has spurred on all those this man was opposing – US policy of pursuing their march into ME. Fox News even refers to this event as the “new 9/11″ . That should give everyone pause.

We should stop, take a deep breath before snap policy pronouncements. Instead Obama is giving his best Bush performance – that is, expanding ME war on heels of shocked and traumatized citizens mourning an attack on US soil.

  • Yes, this is very much a religious war. Cynics wanted an excuse for a war against oil pumping Muslim nations. We got that. But now we are dragging ourselves into a vast Sunni/Shia war which as been ongoing for at least 1,500 years!

Worse, the Christian/Muslim war is just as ancient and just as futile and stupid. On top of this, the Jewish ethnic cleansing scheme is also added to this witches brew and could, all of these things, cause WWIII.

  • 2012 hahaha. Time does not exist, all of our conceptions of time can only occur in the present moment, our heart can only ever beat now, not tomorrow or not in the past. The present moment is all that exists, all that exists is now.

  • Elaine: “astrology”

I always assumed that the desire to track the stars had to do with navigation (hunter gathers) and knowing the best time to plant crops (planting/harvesting seasons). The religous bs just came about as an excuse to “limit” the knowledge to the “priest” class.

“infamous mass suicide of the Jonestown religious cult who used cyanide to kill themselves because authorities were planning to move in and help victims of this cult”

I watched a pbs special and it talked about how the children were killed first so that the parents would be so ashamed and despondent that they wouldn’t fight back. The only survivors were those that ran for it or the old lady who hid under her bed. Amazing how people can delude themselves so much that they think nothing of murdering their own children or themselves.

“As for declining societies: these are the ones ravaged by preventable diseases.”

Obesity and the failure to procreate is not a convential defintion of preventable diseases. Western societies are imploding because they are failing to protect the environenment and raising sufficient number of children.

Always astonishing that you have western activist whining about thirdworld environmental destruction but ignore how much more ravaged their home bases are. People can be so blind to their own faults and their own nations flaws that they fail to see how hypocritical their concern for the environment and thirdworlders really is.

  • @”ELAINE; All your links go to stupid conspiracy/quack sites.”

You are so right, as usual.

The prestigious Journal of Nanotechnology and University of Texas and New Mexico are both stupid, conspiracy, quack sites.

And their research showing silver nanoparticles (colloidal silver) killing HIV-1 viruses, and all other viruses, is totally without merit … wasted time and effort.

So let me apologize to you, blues, K-Bo, Duski, and all other psuedo-scientists on this forum for these my poor attempts to educate the great unwashed.

You may be sure that I will pray for y’all to survive your vaccinations without too many ischemic events.

I OTOH will retreat to my backyard to reflect, feed apples to my deer, and sip my teaspoon of golden colloidal silver in blissful ignorance.

  • @ justice -”But please can we stop talking about H1N1. Or maybe designate every other posting as an H1N1 zone?”

Then don’t you think I deserve a gold star for staying nicely in the H1N1 zone ?

    Can’t promise this won’t change. But for now I’ll take the star . : – )

  • @justiceatsqualor, “and a vaccine with extremely low rates of complications. What?”

I am unfamiliar with any vaccine with extremely low rates of complications. Of what vaccine are you talking about?

All vaccines with which I am familiar damage a victims immune system fearfully. Just for instance, all vaccines create ischemic events (blockage of circulation) in the brain.

Another negative externality of flu vaccines this season is miscarriages. You won’t find this matter covered in government statistics any time soon, but miscarriages due to vaccines have shot up dramatically.

Anyone who makes a casual decision to undergo vaccination is an IDIOT.

  • You are an idiot, Plovering. There are barely any complications from vaccinations. On the other hand, dying of disease is very common, all too common.

I’ve had just about every vaccine there is in the military. Moreover, having been to a number of special schools and deployments that required certain shots, each time I learned that medical paperwork was misplaced. The easiest solution was to get the shots again. I’ve had multiple vaccines multiple times. I’m not happy with the risks. I don’t think my immune system is quite as strong now against unknown pathogens as it would have been in a purely undifferentiated state. But, I am healthy, my immune system is primed against known diseases, and I won’t be spreading them to others.

    People who won’t get vaccinations are free-riders on a public-health tragedy-of-the-commons.

Plovering, here is some info on H2O2 therapies. It works, as does colloidal silver, because both are positively charged, whereas diseased cells, viruses and bacteria carry a net negative charge. H2O2 and O3 protocols are widely used in Germany and other european countries.

    ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

ELAINE: THIS IS PURE GARBAGE. THIS PERSON POSTING HERE IS NOT A DOCTOR. NOR HAS A RECORD OF TELLING THE TRUTH. HE OFTEN LIES.

    ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

The ozone is exposed to the patient’s blood outside his body. Usually in a hypodermic syringe, and shaken. This exposure immediately uses up the ozone, and creates a complete set of compounds called the “blood drug product”. The whole chemical reaction is called a “lipid peroxide reaction”. The created compounds combine with water ot form our beneficial free radical agents called “hydroxyperoxides”.

These free radical agents and the blood they’re in, are put back in the bloodstream, and travel through it to all the body parts. Along they way, it’s electrically being ignored by normal cells, or attracted y diseased ones. This is like checking out the cells. The hydroxy peroxide free radicals can do this, fue to an interesting ability they possess. Because of their electrical and chemical make up, they are only attracted to weak cells, and therefore attack only ones with viruses inside of them.

There were 3000 doctors that claimed to kill the AIDS and other viruses with ozone. IT has been proven to be safe, non toxic, in over 30 years of human applications by thousands of European physicians.
Ozone destroys the diseased cells and leaves the healthy ones. With use of this therapy, nature’s immune system and it’s cells, if not blocked, can identify and attack these invaders, even within itself. This is because they have not all “gone bad.”

It has been waiting for FDA approval and is going to keep on waiting, cause the FDA cannot profit from cures. Medizone has submitted to the FDA: 982 slides the 11 Dr. Preussch ancedotal German case histories of AIDS cures and performed numerous flawless animal, and cell toxicity studies in highly accredited labs. The FDA keeps sending them back to do more studies.

    ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

ELAINE: The FDA doesn’t approve quack remedies based on nonscience, thank god. This is all pure BS and shows how the ‘alternative medicine’ people try to clothe their ideology with the appearance of being ’science’ while having zero real science.

  • @Jim Dandy,

The following quote sums up my problem with H2O2 therapy, namely, wild free radicals:

“While an oxidizing reaction has the ability to neutralize harmful chemicals and bacteria, this reaction can also have detrimental effects. Remember, oxidation is also the same reaction that causes metals to rust. While our bodies shouldn’t contain metals that are subject to rusting, the extra oxygen molecule circulates within the body as a free radical. I am sure that that term rings a bell? You have probably heard it in conjunction with all of the recent studies on anti-oxidants, which reduce damage caused by free radicals. Note the composition of the term “anti-oxidant” itself! Hence there is a controversy surrounding ingesting hydrogen peroxide – does it help in neutralizing chemicals and pathogens more than it hurts by increasing the number of free radicals?”

    http://www.the-natural-path.com/hydrogen-peroxide-therapy.html

Also, H2O2 and silver colloids do NOT work in the same way. The silver nanoparticle is a catalyst, not reactant, in the chemical process of virus and bacteria decimation.

The chemistry of H2O2 therapy remains unresolved. However, likely venues are offered as follows:
