No News Black Out Here

It looks more and more like Murdoch and the various owners in NYC and Mexico City who own the NYT will take all of their Zionist news services off the free web and charge us for propaganda points.  HAHAHA.  I do quote these sources but if they go ‘offline’ by charging fees for reading their tripe, I won’t use them anymore and good riddance to bad trash.  But anyway, here is some incoming news which shows that the Depression isn’t over at all, of course, it simply is continuing along various levels except for one: this time around, all the international investment bankers who ruined things in 1930 but where then destroyed are not destroyed this round but rather, was the ONLY thing that was saved.  Good grief.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

First, we visit the Dragon in China: the Google battle heats up. Google thought they could earn some propaganda points by making a big deal over the fact that hackers could screw them up in China.  Well, this fight has escalated far beyond where Google wanted and as usual, China doesn’t keel over dead when kicked—China kicks back.  Hard.

Xinhua News from China: english.news.cn

Given Washington’s high-pitched support for Google in its dispute with China, the Internet giant’s close ties to the Obama administration has caught public attention and aroused more suspicion.

.

As the fourth largest source of corporate contribution to Obama’s campaign, Google has earned itself an unrivaled place in the administration’s relations with the corporate world. Not only is Google CEO Eric Schmidt, one of the early Obama supporters, sitting on the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology, but also three ex-Google executives were appointed to prize posts in the administration.

.

Google’s case is just the tip of the iceberg. While “revolving door” is an open secret in the U.S., the price paid does not seem to be enough for Washington to have learned its lessons….

.

Should Google choose to stay (in China), it would be well advised to abandon this politicized route, and take the normal road – of abiding by Chinese law and staying on the business track – that has led numerous foreign companies to success in China….

. …A Google without China cannot be a truly global player. The price of the U.S. government using Google for its politics can be very high for the No. 1 search engine. The sooner Google realizes this, the farther it will go in China.

.

HAHAHA….in the US, where there is news, our media mavens somehow never figure out to track political donations or figure out the revolving door between corporate America and our government.  Lord help all us bloggers if the media in the US figures out to do this for us, we would all lose our own niche if this were to happen. But hell freezing over is more likely.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

The Chinese do read blogs and knows that tracking the cozy relationship between government and ‘donors’ who are very rich…this is the key to understanding events!  Google and Yahoo both have decided that censorship is ‘evil’ even as they censor sites through various means, themselves.  Google is in a battle with the biggest publishing owners who don’t want Google to link to them without paying for this…and Google’s stock depends on hitching themselves to these links so they can sell ad space.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

Well, if Google and the biggets media all end up blacking themselves out of China as well as 90% of the web, all I can say is, the winner will be the last free sites standing…that is, whoever is available will be the winners here and eliminating themselves from the Public Forums of the World Wide Web means they will lose something of tremendous value: POWER.  That is, they will cease to influence elections.  They will cease to be part of the public discussion of issues of the day. They will cease to be an attractive place for people to appear.  That is, they become a dark corner and thus, will be IGNORED.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

And trust me, being ignored due to locking oneself in a closet is the road to futility.  Personally, I would feel great satisfaction if Murdoch or the Schultzbergers cease to have any influence in the world.

Alibaba Blasts Yahoo’s Support Of Google | Benzinga.com

“Alibaba Group has communicated to Yahoo! that Yahoo’s statement that it is ‘aligned’ with the position Google took last week was reckless given the lack of facts in evidence,” Alibaba spokesman John Spelich said. “Alibaba doesn’t share this view.”

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

Alibaba used to be part of Yahoo until Yahoo left China.  I expect no American service to be in control of the Chinese market this decade but over time, when these Chinese corporations grow bigger and more powerful, they will ‘liberalize’ naturally.  China already has greatly liberalized itself since 1978.  And the trend isn’t towards more draconian systems but less.  The internet-savvy Chinese won’t be held down forever by the government.  But of course, if the Western media owners want to influence Chinese people, all they have to do is totally black themselves out of the international conversation…oops!  End of that little day dream!

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

Already, I frequently use Chinese news services for news because US ones are so touchy about who quotes or links to them.  And of course, conspiracy sites will thrive in the New World Order system which cuts all the Bilderberg propaganda off at the knees.  Heh.  Maybe the White House can infiltrate those places even more?  Who knows?  I see a lot of cutting off of noses here!  Speaking of cutting off not only noses but one’s balls:

Dem Talking Points: We’re Screwed! | TPMDC

We remain committed to strengthening our economy, creating good paying jobs and ensuring all Americans can access affordable health care.

· Senate Republicans have an obligation to the American people to join us in governing our nation through these difficult times and to help clean up the mess they left behind.

· It is mathematically impossible for Democrats to pass legislation on our own. Senate Republicans to come to the table with ideas for improving our nation and not obstructionist tactics.

· We understand that there is great anger, anxiety and frustration among voters as the economy continues its recovery. That is why Senate Democrats will continue to do everything that we can to strengthen our economy, put Americans back to work, reform Wall Street and address the health care crisis.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

So, the previous Democratic supermajority wasn’t enough to pass laws?  They might as well give it up.  Why bother?  Do the Democrats need a total one-party system?  Maybe they should consult with the Chinese about how to do this.  Of course, the reason why NONE of the wish list of even slightly progressive voters was fulfilled by the Democrats is not due to not having a big enough ‘supermajority’ but due to them being virtually no different from the GOP!  Both work for the same bosses and do the same things all the time.  At least, the GOP openly celebrates corruption, overspending and warmongering.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

As for the economy: the bankers were bailed out.  They are in a snarly mood because they are annoyed that we are pissed off at them for making out like bandits, pirates and robbers while we still suffer.  Well, they ARE bandits, pirates and robbers!  And Obama should have sent the Seventh Fleet to the Caribbean to take over all of Queen Elizabeth’s many little islands!  Instead, we are invading Haiti….again.  And of course, this is to save the Haitians from Mother Nature but then, the entire place was on Death Row before these earthquakes.  Our main concern being, preventing a flood of refugees coming to Florida.  Now, there will be a tsunami of refugees.

Goldman Sachs bankers ‘set for 81% rise in bonuses’ | Business | The Observer

Goldman Sachs bankers are forecast to enjoy an 81% rise in their pay and bonuses for 2009, even though the bank may be forced to respond to political pressure by reducing the amount of money it sets aside for employee payouts in the fourth quarter of the year.

.

Goldman is braced for a furore this week when it completes the US bank reporting season on Thursday, following the row sparked by rival JP Morgan when it disclosed on Friday that it would be handing out $9.3bn (£5.7bn) in bonuses and salaries for 2009.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

I say, just confiscate all the profits of GS and JPM and ship it all the Haiti.  This will solve many problems.  The US can trumpet to the world, how generous we are.  And we can ship all the executives to Haiti, too, and make them dig out the bodies there.  Since this symbolizes how the entire planet has been destroyed by all the collapsing OTC and CDS papers issued or backed by these pirates!

City has been damaged by banking mistakes – Telegraph

Peter Sands, group chief executive of Standard Chartered, one the UK’s big five banks, said that conditions were now worse in London and that new financial business was more likely to locate elsewhere. “I’m afraid to say that London has been damaged both by the failures of management of regulation that led to the crisis and some of the responses to the crisis,” Mr Sands told The Sunday Telegraph.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

Poor babies.  They are going to flee.  I say, the Brits used to have gumption and a sense of ‘fair play’.  Why not grab these guys by the collar and haul them onto ships…oh, England got rid of most of its navy!  Too bad.  Well, put them on jets and fly them to Haiti and then let them build a raft there and paddle to the Cayman Islands.  Make sure the sharks are very hungry.

£2m a day cost of Cadbury deal – plus £12m for the boss | Business | The Guardian

The chief executive of Cadbury stands to pocket cash and shares worth £12m from the company’s £11.9bn sale to the American food giant Kraft in a deal that also hands fees of at least £250m to legions of City advisers.

.

The scale of the payments for Todd Stitzer contrasts sharply with the uncertainty faced by thousands of Cadbury factory workers, after the group’s chairman Roger Carr admitted he had put shareholders first and job losses were inevitable.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

Executive is from the word ‘executioner’ and they are one and the same: killers.  Note how the top brass made out like pirates, bandits and crooks and now get to flee to another country while the workers are dumped and a mountain of debt (90% of the deal’s finances are borrowed!).  Last week, these pirates told everyone, no one would lose jobs.  But they were lying.  These guys always lie which is why we shouldn’t be nice to them.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

Not only that, this deal was trumpeted as a return to normal!  All is well because we have energy inflation and we have dumb buy out/take over deals.  Goody. The concept that the West will collapse unless there are more jobs doesn’t occur to anyone.  Note how the Democrats, in the above list of talking points, mentions jobs.  Well, I see no one ripping up all our trade treaties or going after the outsourcing of US jobs!  Nope.  Nothing.  Speaking about nothingness:

U.N. Official, Yvo de Boer, Says Climate Deal Is at Risk – NYTimes.com

Just a month after world leaders fashioned a tentative and nonbinding agreement at the climate change summit meeting in Copenhagen, the deal already appears at risk of coming undone, the top United Nations climate official warned on Wednesday.

.

Facing a Jan. 31 deadline, major countries have yet to submit their plans for reducing emissions of climate-altering gases, one of the major provisions of the agreement, according to Yvo de Boer, the Dutch official who is executive secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, which organized the climate meeting.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

As expected, no one is daring to go to the populace in many lands who recently suffered through one of the most Arctic winters in many years to babble about how we should ship out even more jobs to balmy places and also pay higher energy costs in order to protect us from summery weather.  I recently saw in a British newspaper a contest to name someone who has done a great deal to reduce their carbon footprint…and the prize was to be flown to a Mediterranean resort!  HAHAHA.  Like I keep saying, no one is really serious about this business.  I see no hair shirts.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

Incidentally, it is now political suicide to go in public, pushing the carbon trade derivative business.  Too many people are smelling the coffee and figuring out, the profits from this market will come from each and every one of us via TAXES and CONFISCATIONS.  More and more private lands will be dragooned into providing ‘forest score points’ for the biggest dealers who won’t pay the owners of the trees a penny for using them as offsets for industrial pollution.  Since I own a forest, I expect to be paid by the government for having trees which are CO2 eaters.  Instead, I am TAXED.  My trees are taxed!  Anyone who yelps about CO2 can come here and begin paying me a few thousand dollars a year to keep, maintain and protect my lovely CO2 eating forest.  So far, my phone isn’t ringing and I get no checks in the mail.  Hell’s bells, pay up, GS and JPM.

Fossil Fuel Use 2034? Not Much Different. – Green Inc. Blog – NYTimes.com

A quarter century from now the United States’ reliance on fossil fuels will have declined only marginally, according to a projection from Black & Veatch, the engineering and energy consulting firm.

.

In 2034, a mix of coal, natural gas and other fossil fuels will supply 68 percent of the nation’s energy needs, compared to 76 percent today. The share of energy production from renewable sources, including solar and wind, in 2034 will rise to 13 percent from 5 percent. Nuclear power will supply only 2 percent more electricity than it does in 2010, the firm said.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

The way to get solar energy going is to change the housing codes.  Anyone in a hot climate that is threatened by global warming should have slightly more expensive houses due to solar panels on the roofs.  After all, people went hog wild for granite countertops which cost about the same amount.  There are many creative ways to fund this, too.  But NOT via CO2 derivative dealers.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

Also, we will be using less fossil fuels in 2034 because China will outbid us on international oil markets.  End of the US car culture.

Gold futures on the COMEX Division of the New York Mercantile Exchange tumbled to a two-week low on Wednesday as dollar strengthened on safe-demand. Silver and platinum both dropped.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

Gold is a commodity which is attached via an invisible umbilical chord to paper money.  So when the US dollar goes up, gold goes down.  It is NOT inflation related but rather, related to the relative value of the dollar to other currencies.  People who invested in gold to make money should realize, it doesn’t always go up and up and up.  Indeed, it can drop like a rock just like the value of the dollar or oil or anything.  Money is a commodity, too, after all.  There is no anchor for anything’s value.  This is how the fiat world finance system operates: juggling everything all the time.

Gates: Al-Qaeda Aims to Start India-Pakistan War — News from Antiwar.com

While praising India for not attacking Pakistan immediately following the November 2008 Mumbai attacks, US Secretary of Defense Robert Gates warned India could not be expected to show such restraint if another attack happened.

.

Which led Secretary Gates to conclude that al-Qaeda is attempting to spark a war between India and its long-standing rival Pakistan. Tensions have continued to grow between the two nations since 2008, with India’s Army Chief declaring his nation ready to fight both Pakistan and its ally China at the same time: a three-way war which would involve 40 percent of the worlds population.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

And will al Qaeda start WWIII?  Absolutely.  This is an End of Times operation which welcomes the Apocalypse.  The recent news about a gun manufacturer for the US/UK crusaders putting End of Times Bible verses on guns which would be used to kill Muslims in Central Asia: the religious insanity lies barely below the surface.  Already, the vast majority of people living across much of Asia and the Middle East think we are devils.  So of course, we insure this will be certain.  Eventually, when we Google the world news, all we will get will be Chinese, Muslim and French service.  Al Jazeera will replace the NY Times.  Talk about ironic.

    Geesh…..did you miss anything?

    Ever sleep?

You wouldn’t happen to have a
line on the Leno/O’brien/NBC fiasco would you? I never watch them, but there is a bet on Intrade I’d like to make as to how this will turn out.

Also, when you have a minute, if men are from Mars and women are from Venus, where does that leave transgenders, and hermaphrodites?

    Are Free Markets Free?
Our banks manufacture money out of thin air in astonishing quantities over time. Surely you are thinking: Not in America; maybe Argentina, or Zimbabwe. But amazingly, over 95% of the U.S. dollars held in banks, money funds, or as currency have been created since 1971, when Nixon stopped redeeming dollars with gold.

“Al Jazeera will replace the NY Times. Talk about ironic.”

I was watching Al Jazeera the other day and they were interviewing some Japanese pundit and he was going on about how the Yen was too high, I though to myself this is what Elaine is always going on about.

the papers need to charge for content… the truth and raw opinion is worth money… most of what counts as news is dictate
    .
i figure most of what is news can be found on blogs… the analysis is of scope and precision with sound opinion…
    .
thats where the money is… what news once was famous for… information and opinion
    .
figure the papers need to sell tools that bloggers need via wordpress or whatever… and get readers to pay for ‘full content links’ or whatever… fact is there is more news outside of establishment news and you CANT charge 2nd rate analysis
    .
facts are a pallet of public opinion that should in some way guide news and law both
    .
im only willing to pay for something want a part of
    .
and with the uk banker tax… know what if the US did the same thing where the hell would they go… yuanistan and destroy their street cred in the richest nations on earth… we should tax the bastards to a normal size that is ‘bank safe’… or regulate them into it
    .
so i hope the US realizes we are the only superpower left with leadership responsibility and not let BANKS? dictate to nations rules… we should stand by nations even Allys before an international corporate culture that bends the law of international credits, security, and enforcement.

The “green” people must think we are going to be drilling for oil on Mars in 2034! I guess their ideology blinds them to the fact that world-wide production will be in steep decline by then. Even with massive development of expensive deep water wells and oil sands, production will be less than what it is today.

And Elaine is right about China. They are already building the nat gas pipelines to Siberia and Turkmenistan, building hydroelectric capacity and planning for a number of new nuclear plants (i.e. they expect to expand their electric grid over next decade, unlike many western nations who will struggle to keep the lights on).

Not sure what to think of this but I have heard recently that there is quite a bit of offshore oil in Cuba, only 100mi from Haiti

    From http://www.abibitumikasa.com

Haiti is full of oil, say Ginette and Daniel Mathurin, [French Original], Radio Metropole, Jan 28, 2008

Scientists and Ginette Daniel Mathurin indicate that under Haitian soil is rich in oil and fuel fossils have already been listed by foreign specialists and Haiti. “We have identified 20 sites Oil, ‘Daniel Mathurin stating that 5 of them are considered of great importance by specialists and politicians.

The Central Plateau, including the region of Thomonde, the plain of the cul-de-sac and the bay of Port-au-Prince are full of hydrocarbons, “he said adding that the oil reserves of Haiti are more important than those of Venezuela . “An Olympic pool compared to a glass of water that is the comparison to illustrate the importance of oil Haitian compared with those of Venezuela,” he explains.

Venezuela is one of the world’s largest producers of oil.

Daniel Mathurin investigations revealed that several previous governments have made it possible to verify the existence of these important oilfields. He recalls that a document of the Fanmi Lavalas party to power in 2004, had specified the numerous sites of oil in Haiti.

According to Daniel and Ginette Mathurin, the Lake District, with cities like Thomazeau and Cornillon, contains important oilfields.

Asked about the non-operation of those sites, Ginette Mathurin said that these deposits are declared strategic reserves of the United States of America. While citing his imcompréhension of such a situation, remember that the Caribbean is seen as the back yard of the United States.

But Daniel Mathurin And Ginette indicate that the American government had in 2005 authorized the use of strategic reserves of the United States. The door should be used by politicians to launch Haitian négiciations with American companies in the context of the exploitation of these deposits adds Daniel Mathurin.

The specialists contend that the government of Jean Claude Duvalier had verified the existence of a major oil field in the Bay of Port-au-Prince shortly before his downfall.

In addition, Daniel and Ginette Mathurin reveal that the Uranium 238 and 235 and the deposit zyconium exist in several regions including in Jacmel. The uranium is used in nuclear reactors for the production of electric energy.

How many can predict the “news” for tomorrow?

    I’ll try:

1)The jews and palestinians, semitic bros going back eons, will still be fighting over settlements, gaza, jerusalem, and iphones over Droids.

    2) democrats and republicans will oppose each other out of spite and ideology

    3) “Reality” will still be unreal

    4) A forward pass in the 50-60 yard range will result in a touchdown.

    5) Someone will fumble the ball in the championship games. Maybe even 3 times.

    6) Hollywood starlets will still sleep on casting couches for their career advancement.

    7) Many will be here iterating the same opinions.

    8) No one will change their mind about anything

    9) Law and Order will still trot out the same old rape, molestation, and gay bashing scripts.

    10) David Caruso will still be a horrible actor

    11) Seal and Heidi will get a divorce someday

    12) there will be another earthquake somewhere with more or less devastation

..feel free to write your own news and save yourself the mind suck of reading the paper except for the Sudoku, crossword (after Wednesdays) Jimble, Ken-ken and acrostics.

“The internet-savvy Chinese won’t be held down forever by the government.”

Won’t they? – i really agonise over that. I wonder if the internet really is helping us get more informed or if its really making us stupider. Has the internet helped us break down barriers in our mind, or helped us screen ourselves behind a wall of narrow casting?
