Separation Of Church And State Makes Opus Dei Santorum Throw Up

Insult to WWII heroes: Graves of British soldiers smashed and desecrated by Libyan Islamists in protest over U.S. soldiers’ Koran burning | Mail Online

Angry Muslims in Libya destroy British imperial graves in retaliation for NATO guards trained in America burning all the Korans used by prisoners in Afghanistan.  The US will be driven out like Britain and other previous imperialist invaders.  The Afghani record for driving empires into destruction is long, very long.  Perhaps ‘eternal’ is the right word here.  The US is embroiled in a new election of our fake leaders who must obey AIPAC and yet, there are rumblings of horrors to come as the GOP candidates endorse ethnic cleansing by Jews while…discussing how much they hate the separation of Church and State.  Every Jew in America should be trembling in fear!  This, dear fellow tribe members, is aimed directly at YOU.

I was Mrs. Levy for decades.  My children are Jewish.  They are endangered by Nazi ideology.  Nazi ideology run by Jews in Israel is a severe danger to the civil rights and even the lives of my own children.  This is why I am so enraged with way too many Jews, barely three generations from the ghetto, trying to justify putting anyone in any ghetto anywhere on earth, much less in Israel!

The ghetto, dear fellow tribe members, will close you all in eventually and is doing this in Israel at a mad rate.  The US has just stuck its head into the lion’s mouth with all Islam and still doesn’t understand the implications of this.  We invaded Libya in order to exploit the oil there but we will be driven out eventually just like we are being driven out of every Muslim nation, bit by bit, losing this manic religious war.  We can never win it, all we can do is plant the seeds for religious wars here.

This is the final result of a joining of the Nixon ‘Southern Strategy’ that sucked in all angry racists to the Reagan courting of religious bigots so they would vote for a divorced Hollywood actor, Reagan, while wailing about how marriage is being destroyed by Hollywood (this has to be the most insane culture war, ever!).  We now see the results of all this with Santorum openly saying: Separation Of Church And State ‘Makes Me Want To Throw Up’

“I don’t believe in an America where the separation of church and state are absolute,” he told ‘This Week’ host George Stephanopoulos. “The idea that the church can have no influence or no involvement in the operation of the state is absolutely antithetical to the objectives and vision of our country…to say that people of faith have no role in the public square? You bet that makes me want to throw up.”

This jerk egging on religious war is a member of a secretive Catholic cult that practices various forms of what I would call ‘black magic’:  How Opus Dei Influenced Rick Santorum – Politics – The Atlantic Wire is a good read about what this means.  It runs alongside the insertion of more and more Catholics into the Supreme Court who have been ripping up the Constitution at a mad rate.  The Catholics are less than a quarter of the population but half of the Supreme Court.

The other half of the court, minus one, are Jews.  Although more than half the nation is Protestant, they have now no representation in the court at all.  This is very, very bad in the long and short term.  The reason the voters in the GOP flit from one candidate to the next is easy to understand: only Ron Paul is a Protestant and the voters are told over and over again, he is pure evil because he doesn’t want to fight all the Muslims on earth all the time!

So they are back on this treadmill, supporting candidates they loathe.  The desire for the Apocalypse is why many don’t want Ron Paul, the only antiwar candidate of either party.  This desire is pure evil and makes me tremble with fear, every 500 years or so, the world is convulsed by religious fanatical battles and our Founding Fathers knew this fully which is why they created the separation of Church and State in the first place.

The US was founded as the first religious-neutral nation on earth.  Hitherto, ALL nations and empires were religious ideologies that hated all other religions and used this as an excuse for warfare!  We changed this only to lose this bit by painful bit.  The communist/capitalist battles morphed into religious battles over time and now we are heading towards utter darkness.  Religious wars are hideous affairs usually requiring the physical elimination of the opposing religion.  Hitler paved the way for these wars.

As a side note, this Vatican monster, Santorum, is anti-education.  He ‘home schools’ his children except for the boys who go to an Opus Dei school in DC:  Santorum: Obama is ‘a snob’ because he wants ‘everybody in America to go to college’ – Election 2012 – The Washington Post.

The religious wars are breaking out in colleges here:  Students Physically Attacked for Interrupting Israel Talk in New Mexico – National – The Atlantic Wire

A group of University of New Mexico students “mic checked” an Israel Alliance talk on their campus Thursday night, when audience members got up out of their seats and physically attacked the protesting students.

“Mic check! Nonie Darwish speaks for Israeli apartheid!,” yell the students at around 15 seconds into the video. “And genocide at the hands of the IDF [Israeli army]!” From there, older male audience members begin to slowly walk their way up to the students (some of them young women), and start physically pushing and attacking them. At 55 seconds in, you can see one of the students goes flying over a row of seats.

PROTESTERS ANGLE: UNM Students being attacked at Israel Alliance event – YouTube

Jews used to pride themselves on winning arguments using intelligent ideas.  Now, they have turned into Nazi thugs.  They think they can intimidate, abuse and beat up anyone defying their bizarre and totally evil ideology of Zionism.  Hitherto, people in the US were scared of confronting Zionism.  I remember well when I announced years ago, I was no longer going to call Jews in Israel ‘Israelis’ because Israel isn’t a nation, it is divided by religion so 99% of what is done there is done by Jews, not Israelis.

The other citizens (sic, there are no ‘citizens’ and no constitution there) have zero say in what happens and can only resist the government run strictly by Jews, most of whom are foreigners who were not born there.  Back when I said I would say ‘Jewish Israelis’ people got very abusive towards me.  I was accused of antisemitism for identifying the religion of people doing things!  Yet Jews identify everyone on earth with religious titles!  No Muslim doing anything on earth can escape this.  It is always, ‘a Muslim…’ this and ‘a Muslim…’ that.

The same month US Christian soldiers urinated on dead Muslim resistance fighters (this is the correct designation of who they are, they are not terrorists) and burned Korans is the same month the Jews in Israel have decided to attack one of the key points of the Muslim religion:  Netanyahu Dismisses Complaints, But Fight Over Al-Aqsa Threatens to Escalate — News from Antiwar.com

The mosque was the site of a major riot late last week, with a number of injuries as Israeli forces stormed the mosque in the wake of Palestinian protests. The unrest was fueled by fliers floating around the city from supporters of Israel’s ruling Likud Party calling for Israel to seize control of the mount, destroy the mosque, and “cleanse” the area of Muslims.

This, of course, didn’t make news in the US.  The Zionists who run our media are on the rampage trying heroically to drive us into yet another fatal war with Shi’ite Muslims.  So the US public, at least the religious fanatical parts and the Jewish sector, are all hyped up to war with Syria and Iran at the same time.  Why not?  The US has lots of nukes!

Our own yodeling Valkyrie is shrieking at everyone on the planet who opposes these stupid wars:  Syria: Hillary Clinton calls Russia and China ‘despicable’ for opposing UN resolution – Telegraph

“It’s quite distressing to see two permanent members of the Security Council using their veto while people are being murdered – women, children, brave young men – houses are being destroyed,” she said.
“It is just despicable and I ask whose side are they on? They are clearly not on the side of the Syrian people.”
Mrs Clinton went on to predict a military coup inside Syria of the kind that ended the old regimes in Egypt and Tunisia.

Fresh from butchering 30,000+ in Libya after lying to the UN, she wants more bloodshed and is enraged that someone is stopping her.  When women and children were being butchered in Lebanon and Gaza, she was smug and her predecessor in the State Department thought this was good, too.  When the IDF attacked Turkish ships and butchered people there including an American, she said absolutely nothing.

She is a pathetic excuse for a human being and should be ashamed of herself but her daughter married an Orthodox Wall Street Jew so she is defending her tribal right to steal stuff from Muslims after killing them.  Naturally, the Muslims feel they have a right to do the exact same thing.  No surprise from me.  This is why religious wars are evil.

Israel Nixes Solar Energy for Palestinians: they are tearing down a project funded by Germany.  The claim is, the Palestinians have no permits.  Of course, the Jews won’t give them any permits nor give them any electricity.  This crude excuse, ‘They have no permits’ is used over and over again, shamelessly and quite maliciously.  The Jews here can’t imagine this sort of odious behavior won’t happen here!  Yet, the GOP is flashing many warning signs, Zionist ideology being used to abuse other people is going to happen here, too!

From just last fall:  US vetoes UN draft on settlements – Middle East – Al Jazeera.

The US has vetoed a UN Security Council resolution that would have condemned Israeli settlements as “illegal” and called for an immediate halt to all settlement building.

All 14 other Security Council members voted in favour of the resolution, which was backed by the Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO), on Friday.

Mark Lyall Grant, the British ambassador to the UN, speaking on behalf of his country, France and Germany, condemned Israeli settlements in the West Bank. “They are illegal under international law,” he said.

He added that the European Union’s three biggest nations hope that an independent state of Palestine will join the UN as a new member state by September 2011.

Even our closest allies thought our veto was stupid!  Everyone except for the Zionists think these settlements are illegal so what do the Jews do?  They continue doing this while howling about how bad the Muslim leaders treat their own people!  This month, the Palestinians rally for unity and the split brought about by Mossad funding Hamas is gone.  This has thoroughly enraged the US state department as well as all Zionists.  The ‘divide and conquer’ model is falling apart in the Zionist heartland.

Jimmy Carter is no longer heard in the news.  He said that Zionism is apartheid and he is correct therefore, he is now a non-person in our media.  But old Bill Clinton carries the Zionist water pail: Palestinian statehood bid won’t change Mideast realities – Haaretz Daily Newspaper | Israel News

Clinton said he felt the Palestinians knew “that they have to negotiate borders and securities with the Israelis, they’re just frustrated because they feel they have provided a secure environment, they have reinforced cooperation with the Israelis, they have produced a growing economy in the West Bank, they have renounced violence…and there’s been no progress.”

“So when they get the vote, which will be extremely positive, since most of the rest of the world thinks the Israelis have made an error not being more forthcoming with the government, and the U.S. vetoes it, which we will do because we’re committed to Israel’s security and the idea that the two parties have to negotiate a solution,” he added.

“So I don’t know what’s going to happen, I just know that this is one of those deals where we’re either going to go forward or fall back and I favor going forward, I don’t think the fundamental realties have changed in 20 years,” the former U.S. president said.

Of course, he  knows perfectly well what is going to happen next: when the US goes bankrupt funding wars with a quarter of humanity, if we continue to saber rattle against China, it will be half of humanity, then the Jewish enterprise in the Middle East will come to a very bloody end.  The Muslims, who let Jews live fairly unmolested for nearly 1,000 years before the Russian Zionist enterprise was launched, will annihilate them because this is the only way to stop Zionism.

This, of course, will be the Apocalypse.  Avoiding this is highly important yet isn’t being done at all, we are rushing towards it faster and faster.

Back to the news from Afghanistan, as our troops are stuck there seemingly forever, the fall out in the diplomacy ring is rapid and fatal:  Afghan Cabinet Members Cancel DC Trip as US Relations Sour — News from Antiwar.com.  The US no longer practices diplomacy.  We are all about bribes and arm twisting and then violent attacks undermining governments, starting riots and sponsoring terrorism, arming insurrections and tearing nations into tinier and tinier ethnic enclaves.

This will come to America as we see in this election!  Religious, race and ethnic warfare will burn up our nation and leave it in small pieces.  Forget having a Federal government!  The bizarre and destructive diplomacy of the US is ruining perfectly fine, formerly cheap alliances such as the Australian government which is being torn apart by US-China tensions.  We forced all our allies to boycott precious Iranian sweet oil and thus are now causing a global economic destruction via high fuel prices.

Now, we want all our allies to isolate China!  China, not the US, is the economic engine of Asia.  The US is mainly a passive receptacle of Asian manufactured goods at this point.  A powerful position that is being eroded rapidly by the US overspending on wars and removal of our own infrastructure.

And our good allies who are vicious dictators in Saudi Arabia are moving away, too, even as they use the US to attack Iran, their Shi’ite rivals:  Asia Times Online :: Middle East News, Iraq, Iran current affairs

The first signs that a Sino-Saudi relationship could bear strategic fruit came in 1988 when Saudi Arabia purchased 36 CSS-2 intermediate range ballistic missiles, and nine launchers.

The sale was extremely controversial as the missiles have little utility as conventional weapons and are geared towards use as weapons of mass destruction platforms. Upon discovery of the sale the Bush administration began a series of frantic calls to Riyadh to try and dissuade the Saudi’s from the “reckless” arms adventure. American worries fell on deaf ears, and aside from assurances that Saudi Arabia had no nuclear intentions, their concerns were rejected. Thus the appealing prospect of an unfussy Chinese ally was piqued in Riyadh.

Though the relationship had grown in the 1990s with the signing of bilateral trade agreements, ministerial exchanges, and increasing trade volume, the real shift began in 2006. In a remarkable turnaround from the days when Chinese communists could not even step foot in the kingdom, King Abdullah made an official state visit to Beijing.

One of the major issues highlighted, likely to the discomfiture of Washington, was the maintenance of regional peace and energy security, a sphere normally reserved to the US-Saudi relationship. The trip was soon reciprocated with a state visit to Riyadh by Chinese President Hu Jintao, cementing the shift in the Sino-Saudi relationship.

The Saudis are very nervous about the Christians who are the bulk of the GOP.  Before, they hated atheists.  Now, they realize atheists aren’t going to war to destroy Islam.  Atheists just want everyone to stop being so hysterical.  Of course, the atheists are also very divided: global warming and the old communist/capitalist split has left and right atheists at each other’s throats, too.  This would amuse me if I were a goddess watching from above and not stuck on this planet.

It is my observation that with globalism we are really not a sovereign state anymore but are swiftly becoming a trade zone. After the cold war ended, being the best is no longer a priority, just funneling money to the top global echelon counts.

The religion thing is a subterfuge to take our eyes off the more important issues and creating great schisms between people, while waging new religious wars. (lets go back to the crusades–what’s old is new again)

The thing that I found quite amazing is Santorum’s attack on the traditional protestants are also the enemy. They have done nothing to respond to that outrageous statement. Religion has been politicized and it is ultra revanchist, revisionist and right wing. Any religion that reflects huminism is under attack.
These guys would kill Christ if they had half a chance.

  2. BT..yes a ‘trade zone’ of the 1%.

‘Santorum: Obama is ‘a snob’ because he wants ‘everybody in America to go to college’ – Election 2012 – The Washington Post.’

    THE WASHINGTON POST= ZIONISM INC!!!!

Well lets see Miss Huffington sent her children to the private school in Brentwood, same schools Arnolds went to.

Clinton also said ‘everyone should have a college education’ [baaa]

I did click the link, I thought what Santorum said was correct!!!

  3. Elaine…..’ I was accused of antisemitism ‘
And so what? Anything that does not advance the Zionist agenda will be smeared [thats from a Yid word, yes?].

Anyone who stands in the way of Zionism will be destroyed, yes?

Do you see ‘antisemitism’ is a word used to advance their agenda?

  4. Paul S

“they would vote for a divorced Hollywood actor, Reagan,…” It’s worth mentioning that that lying fraudster, Reagan, was a DEMOCRAT–until it was in his best self-interest to switch Parties. It amazes and confounds me how impervious Republicans are to scandal. No amout of hypocrisy, no amount of sleaze seems to impact the GOP negatively. Example. Newt Gingrich. Divorced three times, serial cheater on his wife.Had to leave Congress in disgrace after paying the highest fine in the history of Congress. Still, the Newster is considered–by some–to be a viable candidate. The list could go on. I could mention the hypocrisy of George W. Bush and corporate welfare whore Rush Limbaugh, but you get the idea.

  5. Plove

For every antisemitism the must be a semitism.

    What the hell is semitism?

    :D . I really enjoy this blog.
Don’t muslim’s feel that christians are somewhat more honourable dogs since they have just one god?
    Isn’t the feud over prophets?

    Jews – no prophets
    Christians – Hesus
    Muslims – Mehmet

And they all are monotheistic religions of peace.

  7. Being There

And they all are monotheistic religions of peace.

Ha! If war is peace, that is.

  8. Eso

What if fascism is an “in-group” thing? In short, I and mine get a nice pay check, health insurance, good schools for the kids, but the rest of the people are unmentionable ‘populists’. The reason why ‘populists’ are outside the circle of fascism is that they believe that they are equal to the elites, which happen to be fascist in-groupies. Hitler became so popular with the Germans, because he included them all in his in-group, then had to make war to keep the idea alive.

Fascism has been a problem for the West ever since the Magna Carta, the fascist document of English pirinces and nobility, declared ‘democracy’ for themselves.Witn the removal of the king, who was at least minimally responsible for keeping the planet spinning around its axis. Ever since the monarch was removed, the axis has been wobbling something terrible. Thus it happens that Jews can be persecuted, but soon turn into persecutors themselves, at least the zionists among them; and Americans, who more or less created democracy by introducing direct elections of their representatives, have now an government of elite democrats, i.e., ‘soft fascists’.

Let us notice that no one in government ever takes full responsibility of the mess it creates. No one is called to sacrifice themselves. No one ever thinks of self-sacrifice.

In other words, I am with you emotionally and subjectively, Elaine, but I do not quite get your logic–unless of course you believe that ‘democracy’ is still around. Tell me where I should look.

  9. JT

    @Being there
    ;)

  10. I agree with Eso, Where is the democracy when the ‘soft fascists’ pervert any attempt at change? When the policy makers in reality are the Council of Foreign Relations, AIPAC, the Pentagon and various money men (rich elite figures), bought and paid for think tanks, Wall Street, Big Oil, Big Pharma etc etc etc.

Where is the democracy when “all journalists that are anything” are owned by the CIA (according to old CIA chief Colby – and that was back in the day!). Nowadays, with even fewer major news owners, they are owned by the CIA and AIPAC and the MIC through their vast coorporate interests. They just got rid of the last token voices of opposition (such as they were in “Judge Napolitano” etc).

The Clintons are completely in the pocket of Wall Street and AIPAC, and Obama quickly got the hang of how the game is played as President. Even if he was a player before he had to raise his game a few levels to survive (“I’m not in Kansas anymore” (read Chicago)), which means he is another complete traitor to his voters and the promises he made to the electorate when he ran his campaign of change. Where is the democracy in that?

The Bushes are rich elite/CIA (and that is their “good side”…) Reagan didn’t have a brain, but he was good with a teleprompter and just like with Dubya (Cheney) the real president (who showed his sneaky face at the time of the ‘recount’ in Florida) was that old operator James Baker III.

The Supreme Court is a snakes nest of perverted and bent judges handpicked to serve political agendas and very special interests of shady people and organizations. You know this well you say the same in article after article.

Why pretend you have a democracy at all?

This is an interesting link about the extinction of the Neanderthals in Europe. Seems they got hit by several spells with freezing temperatures that they couldn’t cope with – the “Marine Isotope Stage Three” (60–25 thousand years before present)

  12. emsnews

The European Neanderthals were very inbred. Humans are, too. And the humans who left Africa around 60,000 years ago bred with some of the Neanderthals. So if one is Eurasian, you have some Neanderthal genes! No one from Africa has this. :)

This makes us ‘white people’ as well as ‘Asian’ mongrels! :)

  13. I’m POSITIVE I have some Neanderthal genes ^_^ (loads of people assure me I do so…. :p)

  14. JT

“A random sample of black, white, and mixed-race faces was collected and rated for their perceived attractiveness. There was a small but highly significant effect, with mixed-race faces, on average, being perceived as more attractive.”
The study could also have wider implications than just attractiveness.
First established by Darwin in 1876, heterosis (or hybrid vigour) is a biological phenomenon that predicts that cross-breeding leads to offspring that are genetically fitter than their parents.”

    http://www.futurity.org/society-culture/biracial-faces-voted-most-beautiful/

    When in doubt, f*ck…

  15. Got interested and snooped about a little. Seems as even the notion of Neanderthal, early European interbreeding is in doubt but I think this article is from 2003 so there may be other findings. I just remembered reading something about all Europeans tracing back to just a very few women, turned out there are Seven genetical ancestor women to us Europeans :)

    http://genome.wellcome.ac.uk/doc_WTD020876.html

“Tracing the early history of the human colonisation of Europe beginning about 45 000 years ago has been another success story for mDNA, proving that most Europeans trace their ancestry to hunter-gatherers who arrived during the last Ice Age, rather than farmers coming from the Middle East. And also that the Neanderthals have left no trace in the European gene pool and almost certainly became extinct.

Among native Europeans, almost everybody can trace their maternal genealogy, using mDNA, to one of only seven women, their ancient clan mother. To give them an identity I have given these women names: Ursula, Xenia, Helena, Velda, Tara, Katrine and Jasmine. The women lived between 10 000 and 45 000 years ago, six of the seven were hunter-gatherers, the seventh, Jasmine, was an early farmer. These seven women are also related to each other, and these connections can also be followed by mDNA. They join up with the clan mothers from other parts of the world and ultimately coalesce in one woman – mitochondrial Eve, who lived in Africa about 150 000 years ago. Wherever we live on the planet, we are all her descendants.”

  16. Being There

Just getting back to the subject of soft facsism, there was a great article by Chris Hedges in 2010:
    http://www.truthdig.com/tag/inverted_totalitarianism/

I’ve often referred to the nature of our state as totalitarianism with a mink glove. I do think since this is global it’s a bit more like global inverted communism and Milton Friedman who’s economic philosophy was accepted as a way out of Keynesian economics was actually Trotsky turned inside-out.
He must have read The Permanent Revolution.

  17. I went looking for the Chris Hedges article and found a lot of ads, but not the article. I wish web designers would figure out that they can sell me things much more effectively if their site is useable.

  18. kenogami

There is a recent study at Université de Montréal that shows that all humans except Africans have some Neanderthal genes:
“About nine per cent of all the X chromosomes studied carried a piece of the Neanderthal DNA.”

    http://news.nationalpost.com/2011/07/18/research-confirms-it-were-part-neanderthal/

  19. Ah, it’s good to know the Neanderthal’s live on in us. :)

  20. melponeme_k

It’s good to know that the Neanderthals live on in modern people. I was beginning to think we killed them all and ate them as cave man stew.

    Thanks Elaine.

It’s instructive to note that once the passions of religious tribalism are completely unbound within a community the results can be unpredictable.

We may expect the outcome in North America to be a pseudo Christian fascist theocracy, but we may in fact get the opposite. Once a few nukes get dropped and people see that neither Jesus or anyone else is going to come down and rescue the silly from their folly we may see the accession of a reactionary Atheist pan american politic that seeks to expunge all religion- a cultural revolution a la China or Cambodia.

This link presents the radio interview with Chris Hedges
    http://www.vpr.net/flash/audio_player/audio_player.php?id=30168
I find it revealing and supportive of my point:

Today the smallest lethal unit of (‘hard’ as opposed to ‘soft’) fascism is the corporation, or corporatism, and the university as as academic/economic institution (?fascistic academism?), the two three outstanding ones amont the latter being the Chicago School, the New School of London, and the Harvard School of Economics in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Harvard being famous for bringing “shock economic therapy” to unsuspecting Eastern Europe (where subsistance economics continued to prevail) as a replacement to the fallen communbist empire. The communist fascists took to the offer as fish out of water..

The Russian fascists of today, not surprisingly, commute between totalitarian London and New York, and bypass Moscow for fear of landing not at the airport, but in jail there.

Looks like the end of the British Empire has finally arrived. The last act in the fall of an empire is the destruction of the empire’s monuments by vandals.

I don’t think I will be moving to Canada:

    http://rt.com/usa/news/jail-sansone-gun-waterloo-333/

They just took a giant leap forward towards national socialism, with everyone acting as a spy hoping to catch a “terrorist” and become a hero, only to blame someone else after no one is charged with anything.

I don’t trust my local school anymore. Their obsession with rule violations of the uniform dress code when they do not provide a uniform leaves all parents at the mercy of arbitrary decisions made by “authorities”. Then there is the anti-bullying code, which can be applied to anything, apparently.

The only children they truly like there are those who say nothing, never open their mouths unless commanded to, and never move, unless ordered to.

  29. charlottemom

Santorum is most definitely a Knight of Malta – a Vatican elite. He’s Opus Dei too? Didn’t know. Opus Dei is many things – secretive and extremely doctrinaire and fundamentalist, but it has less geo-political clout than Knights of Malta.

Santorum is an elite tool. He is no a christian but a zealous religionist. And speaking of zealots, there are fundamentalist religous groups all over: Opus Dei is Catholic; the “Fellowship” is Protestant; or how about the jewish “Sys” ? In the end, less about spirituality and ethics and more about power, control, self-interest.

  30. emsnews

He isn’t total Opus Dei because he would have to stop having S-E-X (except with little boys, of course!!!). Ahem.

Opus Dei is the black magic part of the Catholic Church. Trust me on this one. No one would believe my sources.

  31. EMS….can you point us to some books or online about OpusDei
and how do you define ‘blac majic’ ?

    Ill believe you.

  32. melponeme_k

    @90404

Opus Dei is a cultic offshoot in the Catholic church. They are extremely conservative and believe in strict mortification of the flesh (they wear spiny metal braces on their legs). The membership is popular with many rich catholic elites and it is influential in Rome. It is rumored that many Catholic judges in the US Court system are members of Opus Dei.

There are plenty of books and websites about it.

I first heard about it from that silly Dan Brown book. I thought it was a joke. Apparently not.

Talking about avoiding religious war in regards to US Jewish Citizens, the US Catholics need to play safe as well. The United States is mainly a Protestant nation, the majority being Calvinist. Talk about another scary religious offshoot. Look up Calvinism. It explains a lot about the behavior of the elites…the elect.

  33. emsnews

I was raised by ‘crazy Calvinists’. I know what the darker thinking about the Apocalypse is all about, my father was involved in brining the Nazi rocket scientists to America, after all!

Yes, people do believe in the most horrible things and worse, act on this.

    To put it another way:

If Afghanistan had a nuclear accident back when it FIRST started driving empires to destruction, you would be safe to go near the site by now. There would still be a few long-lived Plutonium isotopes and whatnot, but the really hot fission products would be all gone.

As a Catholic, I can tell you that Opus Dei, while crazy and certainly fundamentalist, is not the geo-politcal driver of Catholic elites. Any fundamentalist Catholic zealot can join Opus Dei. You are invited to join the Knights of Malta. This is where politicans, industrialists go to join up with other the “christian crusaders.” And while there may be membership overlap, the Knights are where the vatican power resides.

On Santorum, is it true that he presented the Congressional Medal of Honor to Sandusky? hmmm….

  36. DeVaul

Opus Dei, Knights of Malta, Calvinists, the Vatican, the Catholics, the Protestants, crusades, holy wars, black magic, end of the world…

I have never heard of or read of another god who carried so much “baggage”, and yet people still think this god loves someone.

It amazes me that none of these groups can see that THEY will be the ones thrown into the sacrificial fires. One right after the other.

I find it restful to pray to the trees. They don’t answer much, don’t demand much, and give me maple syrup in the spring and pistachios in the fall. Seems like a well appointed plan overall. ( and when necessary they give me the fuel for the sacrificial fires ).

  38. DeVaul

Yes, one should listen to the trees, even if they say very little. What they do say is far more important than what any human will say.

I just rebuilt (for the third time) the picket fence around the patio beneath my huge oak tree. If he destroys it again, I will tell my wife that I will never rebuild it, as the oak tree does not want it there. Since I had the tree pruned of all broken limbs at great expense last fall, the destruction of the fence again can only mean that he is not pleased with it.

Your Oak is an Ent.. XD

From Elaine’s background article about what it means that “Santorum is Opus Dei,” “Santorum says he’s not a member of Opus Dei.” But if Elaine says Santorum “is a member of a secretive Catholic cult,” then by golly, he must be an evil occultist. I’m amazed at how much stuff one blogger can make up about politicians and all sorts of other things. Not that I’m a fan of politicians in general, but come on. Elaine, your special sources are liars, and you believe them. And the regular sources that most people use, like articles, or asking someone if they’re a member of some organization, are ignored. Very sad.

  41. DeVaul

    @Biased (good name for you),

Why don’t you ask Santorum (sp?) if he is a member of this cult and what he does in it, just like the student who asked Kerry about Skull and Bones? Don’t be surprised if Santorum stands by and does nothing while you are electrocuted. In fact, that alone will tell you all you need to know about Mr. Santorum.

If he enjoys watching people who ask questions get tasered, well…

“And the regular sources that most people use…”

Since you read a LOT of liers yourself and don’t ever check up on their sources, you are obviously biased (hence, the name). Based on that, I am guessing you would probably rationalize Mr. Ultra-religious Santorum doing nothing while students are tasered and beaten by cops.

At least, that would be my wager.

  42. Biased

If one is going to make a claim, one should at least link to a source that supports it, not one that claims the opposite.

    Just sayin

I’ve checked several other sources, and none of them claim Santorum is a member of Opus Dei, nor do any “regular” sources claim Opus Dei does “black magic.”

But Elaine must know best, right?

The worshipers of male deity religions are in the upheaval of extinction in the United States and its about time. These archaic religious “war-mongers” are the last generation of the religio-xeno-fanatics. I would guess this is why the backwards-conservative-radicals of judeo christian -AIPAC- and yes the Muslims are in a hurry to destroy the very powerful forward movement of anti-religion. This movement is casting off the last dregs of male deity ideology enslavement. Male deities serve one purpose, and that is the psychological imprisonment of the ignorant populace who are anti-reality and anti-individual responsibility of progressive education and egalitarianism. Current religious affiliations in the US are a joke, especially in the cities. Who’s counting the populations of growing atheists, agnostics, and the fast-growing Transcendentalist (early mid 1800″s Fuller, Emerson, Thoreau, Whitman, Alcott..)- these are today’s environmentalists!

Unlike Elaine, I’m on campus with the 20 and 30 somethings and the many returning students from the 60′s and 70′s era whose strong affiliations lies in egalitarianism. What the world is witnessing is the current younger generations and their older allies denouncing the walking dead generations of male deity idolization. End of world, yes you are right Elaine, but it’s metaphorical, it’s the death of religion, not Humanity. We are on the precipice of humankind acceptance devoid of psychologically imposed boundaries such as: gender, race, class, and religion.
