The New York Times and the rest of our media moves from one target which happens to be Muslim to the next restlessly trying desperately to drive the US citizens into endless wars while at the same time the entire GOP minus a few Northeastern Republicans, are yelling that we are going bankrupt and like this gambling boss who is a multi-millionaire, Casino exec. Gary Loveman calls for Social Security cuts because we are ‘going bankrupt’ but not too bankrupt to go to war with a billion Muslims and a billion Chinese, of course. Al Qaeda which is an idea and not even an organization, a creature created by the CIA to harry the Soviet Union and China, has grown tremendously in power, reach and authority as the US uses various cowardly tools to ‘fight’ this enormous movement. The more we fight, the stronger it gets since it feeds off of the blood of martyrs.
There was no al Qaeda in Libya before the NATO nations flooded it with weapons and ditto double for Syria. Now, the movements connected to and feeding off of the al Qaeda belief system have power bases from the Atlantic coast of Africa to deep into Asia and the far East. Naturally, the Pentagon and AIPAC see the Tuareg of Mali as a ‘hazy’ threat here in the US so of course, the solution is to abuse them further so they will be certain to be radicalized.
We had another handful of school shootings this week here in the US and all of these were done by insane Americans freaking out. We don’t need ‘terrorists’ to terrorize ourselves, we are out for blood here at home for no discernible reason. As the NRA and right wingers freak out about even mild restrictions on firearms, the US government and especially right wingers here want to disarm all Muslims once they overthrow someone. Like in Libya, replace a dictator with a puppet regime which barely functions, of course.

Thirty-four hostages and 15 kidnappers have been killed in southern Algeria, according to the group holding the hostages.
The official Algerian APS news agency later said the army had freed four foreign hostages: two Britons, a Frenchman and a Kenyan. Algerian media, citing officials, reported that 15 foreigners and 30 Algerians had managed to escape.
Taking over European colonialist exploitative regimes is ‘evil’. The EU is madly pumping oil out of Muslim countries and pocketing the profits while screaming about global warming and how evil it is. The desert tribes that consist of the Tuareg community live in one of the hottest and driest areas on earth and like their similar counterparts in Afghanistan which is cold and dry, they are adept at living on virtually nothing. The militants earlier said they were holding 41 foreign nationals. They are believed to include British, Japanese, US and Norwegian citizens.
And some of the people living there were saved but the ones surrounded by the rebels, mainly foreigners, were probably mostly killed during this counter strike. Colonialist France increases troop deployment to Mali before this counterstrike by the rebels. This is highly popular in socialist France which is on the ropes economically and needs to exploit former colonies to get profitable natural resources to fuel the French civilization machine which celebrates wealth. We can see from this Google Earth satellite picture that the oil facility is deep in the Sahara Desert. The entire desert is mainly a no man’s land with tribes moving restlessly across it. The Tuareg used to mine salt and sell it on the Cote d’Ivore/Ghana region to the south.

The best chance for breaking the extremists’ hold on northern Mali may be persuading the region’s moderate Tuareg people to reconcile with the military-controlled South of the country.
U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was in Algeria this week seeking the country’s support for a West African force to help Mali’s military regain control of the north. And her talks with President Abdelaziz Bouteflika were dominated by the issue of how to deal with the terrorists and Islamic fundamentalists who took control of more than two-thirds of Mali after a coup toppled the government in Bamako last March.
These Tuareg rebels are not dumb. The US wants the tribes to come to heel like the tribes in Yemen and obey the oil pumping rulers who exploit everyone. If they don’t kneel to authority, they will be attacked by assassin drones. So, in retaliation for Clinton going to Algeria to help suppress these tribes, they counter attacked successfully.
As for Egypt being a fine example: Report: Freedoms in Libya, Egypt Improving, But Declining in Russia, Mali which is proven by this news: Egyptian court sentences a mother and seven children to 15 yrs jail for converting back to Christianity. Russia is a thousand times freer than Libya or Egypt! A million times freer than Saudi Arabia. We don’t give a fig about freedom in Saudi Arabia and the US gives arms to rich despots in the Gulf region so they can butcher, imprison and torment their own people with no one objecting in Europe or the US so long as the oil flows.
Iran is ten thousand times freer than Saudi Arabia or the Gulf States, too. They get no reward for having far more civil rights for women than any of the Gulf states and they don’t import foreign semi-slave labor to torture, abuse and exploit like our ‘allies’ who we praise so lavishly. We don’t give a hoot about freedom or civil rights at all and cherry pick who to criticize when it comes to freedom, etc. We don’t care about Mali, our State Department cares about pumping oil from nations we control and we have zero control over Iran which is why it is ‘evil’ while the monsters ruling via brute force in the Gulf States are ‘good guys’ and ‘allies’.
