The most common response to economic woes is to go fascist. This is historically correct and the tensions between workers and their bosses are usually resolved by attacking some other nation or ethnic internal warfare. Into this toxic mess comes the CIA. Since WWII, the CIA has uniformly supported fascism. The US power elites love fascism which is why they support it militarily and with finances ever since WWII. We fought German and Japanese fascists during WWII only to strengthen them and empower them in the name of fighting ‘communism’ afterwards. Now, with Japan facing economic annihilation due to Fukushima, the government there was made various secret promises via Hillary Clinton, that the US would back fascist Japanese territorial demands against Russia and China, two of the world’s most dangerous nuclear powers.
I correctly surmised that such a deal was made two years ago and every day, the news flowing out of Japan increases my fears: Japan scrambles jets after ‘Russian intrusion’ and demand back islands Moscow seized after WW2. Note how Japan does ‘diplomacy’ here: unilateral demands backed by military intrusions. Whenever the opposing countries react, Japan then uses the US media owners in collusion with the CIA to openly lie about what is really causing these problems.
Japan has not made the slightest attempt at doing any sort of diplomatic deal while the US keeps these conflicts out of the UN by refusing to allow this to be discussed at the Security (sic) Council meetings. The entire existence of this infamous council is due to the US wishing to strengthen fascist regimes after WWII. The US media is an important player in these games. Most of the news about the growing menace in Asia has been simply eliminated from discussion here in the US. More news from Asia: Tokyo says Russian fighter jets breached Japan airspace. Naturally, Tokyo sees anyone going into disputed space to be the violator. It is of utmost importance to paint this story as a ‘Russia/China aggression’ story. But the real cause is in Tokyo, not the rival countries.
The racist, religious bigot foreign policies of the US is directly connected to fascism. All fascists believe in ‘homelands’ which is code for ‘ethnic cleansing’. Bush named our national security program ‘Homeland Security’ due to a need to tie in our own ethnic/religious warfare with Nazi ideology. The CIA fostered Muslim radicalism back during the Cold War to oppose Soviet inroads in Muslim nations like Egypt or Syria. After arming and supporting Afghan religious maniacs to drive out the Soviet Union, the US continued to support these groups even while screaming they are killing us. That is, the US supported Saudi radicalism. And still protects and supports this today. In return, the fundamentalists ruling Saudi Arabia with an iron fascist fist let us put secret assassin robot killer bases inside Saudi Arabia.

While sick in bed, I watched online this painful Dr. Phil episode about violent, uncontrollable US soldiers suffering from mental illness. One poor guy described his horror on discovering he and his buddied actually butchered a bunch of women, children and babies and this horror haunted his mind and was making him suicidal. So what did this ‘Dr.’ say to him?
‘You are a HERO. You protected America from danger!’ The guy understood deep inside himself, he was a criminal, not a hero. He knew he and his buddies were bad. This caused him great anguish which means he has a conscious sense of what is right and what is wrong. Telling our soldiers they are ‘heroes’ when actually, they are occupiers of foreign lands on behalf of international fascist cartels, is making their internal pain only worse. During the Vietnam War, our soldiers were told they were fighting for ‘freedom’ when actually, they were fighting for right wing fascists. And this tore them apart, internally which is why so many had mental health problems.
The need to appear moral and good is important to all the imperialists: France is not responsible for civilian deaths in Mali strikes – Defense Ministry says in Paris is a common example. Brennan, speaking in Congress about his possible promotion, lied repeatedly about the number of civilian deaths caused by the CIA assassination programs. He wanted to pretend these deaths are rare and not common. NATO, in general, wishes to pretend they are all about saving civilian lives. In Syria, for example, the civilian death toll was tiny three years ago while now, after NATO has armed Muslim rebels there, it is in the hundreds of thousands with more turned into refugees as ethnic and religious dogma warfare spreads.
Meanwhile, in Europe, economic collapse continues as it does in Japan: Hundreds of protesters march in Spain against new wave of cuts as austerity for the civilians living inside of the NATO war machine are forced onto short rations while imperialist wars spread. This, in turn, might lead to the other side of the fascist coin: worker rebellions against these elites using them so brutally. WWI and WWII created the communist empires.

My grandfather was a hero of WW2. But what he saw there and did during that time tore him apart for the rest of his life. He would have denied it but it fueled his addictions. No matter what the circumstances of the war the survivors know that they have committed horrible acts. It never goes away.
Even as a whole race, you rightly pointed out that we have never forgotten what we did to survive the climate change(ice age) that drove us to the point of extinction. The horror of it (cannibalism) is encoded into all of our religions.
Crimes never die, they stay with us until we face them head on.
Oh and you are right about the “Homeland” code words. The first time I heard it years ago, I wondered why they just didn’t come out and try to push “Fatherland” on us.
Consequently enough, the furor regarding illegal aliens is heating up. If the elites can’t keep using these people as slaves, they will happily throw them to the wolves. No matter how I try to put this fact forth on various news sites, I’m called a bigot against the “dreamers”.
When will people be able to separate ideology from the facts? Its so easy. But then again, maybe not. Maybe people have to “die” in a sense to break free. I sat a bad murder trial and it changed me. ELAINE: The far right wing has waged open war on women’s rights. This emphatically includes the right to have an abortion. This is a high topic for myself because I nearly died when I had my last child and when I was pregnant again, it endangered my life so I had to have an abortion. This was all between myself and my doctor. The right wingers want to interfere with my health and have me die because they have this goofy idea that fetuses and even eggs are more important than human females who are adults.

Nicely given example Elaine, about the moral causes of the PTSD depression in many vets and Dr. Phil’s use of the patriotic narrative. It’s terrible that these folks can’t get the proper therapeutic treatment which begins by simply recognizing their experience. But then we’re talking about the wrong place to go for treatment, national daytime TV!
There’s a recent interview with Chomsky where he talks about the patriotic national narrative being essentially religious fervor and it’s very difficult even dangerous to discuss truths that counter the narrative. Especially these days.

Son told of how his father talked him out of joining the service by telling him what he say and did in Viet Nam. He never talked to anyone else about this. I’ve heard many times of peoples’ fathers’ having been in WW II and having never talked about it. Despite what the Archie Bunker and the M$M would have had us believe at the time, I think it was common for fathers who had been in WW II to encourage their sons not to participate in Viet Nam.
The point is, anyone who had seen what Viet Nam did to American life would have known what was coming. There are no surprises here.
The new next door neighbor of my brother is some kind of contractor in Af’stan. He bought the house sight unseen, with a mail order Russian wife and a German Shepherd. The guy came ‘home’ once from Af’stan and didn’t like the dog. Dog was gone. The day after T’giving his house was entered and his safe stolen. The police told my brother that this guy considers he and his wife suspects. And the other day my nephew was getting into a car to go to school and the mail-order wife calls the cops that he’s stalking her. At least, this is the story I’ve been told. But my question is about my nephew’s older brother, who, let’s say, is not functioning on a competent level. He’s been known to go into another neighbor’s house, go to the fridge and drink the salad dressing before taking a nap in one of the beds (no harm intended, of course). Is he going to get out of the fence and walk into the wrong house and get plugged by a paranoid mail order wife who spends much too much time by herself in the woods, or by her steroid and greed-addled husband?
