This purchase of apartments was by the Pope’s right hand ‘man’ (hahaha, dare we joke about handling sexual problems for the Pope?) Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone.
I think they should hold the next election of a homophobic closet Pope in this sauna! They will get expert body massages, hot and cold pools, exercise and other benefits they badly need. Homophobic Archbishop Dolan approved payouts to pedophile priests in Milwaukee and then was sent to super-gay NYC. So he is the natural next candidate for Pope: hates gays, loves closet sex.

Obeying orders to be fascist, Archbishop Dolan urges Obama: end campaign against marriage, religious freedom. You see, if gays can marry, this means priests should marry, too. Ahem.

We are allowing gay lovers who want to legalize their relationships to enjoy the same SECULAR legal protections of each other and joint property that married people take for granted.
For example, when gay lovers go to the hospital, the families can veto visits from the gay partner and lock them out. When someone suddenly dies, the families of the dead gay person can seize all the property unless an iron clad will prevents this. They get no spousal benefits from work or from Social Security. There are a hundred secular legal reasons for giving gays equal marriage rights. Not one of these reasons involve churches of any sort.
Why are these foreigners in the Vatican demanding the right to DICTATE our civil laws? They went to great lengths to interfere in our elections and have demonized Catholic Democrats basically driving them out of the Church all due to homophobia. This disgusting activity goes further, they are also at war against our female civil rights in general. From top to bottom, they want to turn back the clock on us.
I greatly resent this and their work on behalf of far right wingers in the GOP is most irritating. Pretending they are a religious organization rather than an invasive, reactionary foreign operation that wants to suck down money from our country while dictating to secular women, how we must live, is intolerable. They can demand their believers have no abortions but they dare not demand NO ONE get this.
They can demand their foolish women live stunted legal lives and take abuses without complaint but they dare not demand I join this masochistic monopoly of male power fanatics. How dare they dictate to me or to gays? Or anyone! They don’t need the laws to live their lives in any twisted way they want, what they fear is we will interfere with their exploitation of women and abuse of gays and then there are all the priests who rape men, women and children: the Church wants to have this be a free for all due to the State being locked out of the criminal operations.
The Church is angry that civil authorities are stepping in and stopping this gang of rapists. I say, the Vatican should be sold off and the priesthood disbanded for being more like the Mafia. And the same goes for all the tax-evading preachers and con artists like the Scientologists and the Mormon tithers.

I have long favored the idea of something like a “personal exemption” that would allow the small neighborhood churches to not be taxed, but would be low enough that the multimillion dollar Tax-free Country Club for Jesus, Inc. types would have to pay up, just like the other country clubs, who focus on golf or tennis instead of dusty old parchments.
