The US has a very long, deadly history of supporting military coups and violent repression of voters. Across the globe, in Europe, Africa, especially Central and South America, in Asia: the US has supported violent military suppression of democracy if the voters ever put into power anyone the US hates which is…nearly anyone who wants to change the international ‘free trade/floating fiat currency’ regime rules or tax the rich or whatever. The US taxpayers have paid trillions of dollars in military/political support of these coups and repressive regimes all while the US proclaims, we support and defend ‘democracy’.
The latest massacre of peaceful demonstrators in Egypt is typical. Even as the US condemns doing this in say, Syria and arms terrorists to fight the government there because ‘it kills its own people’ we see worse repression in Egypt with our government calling for disarming anti-coup demonstrators and their removal or death.
The EU dutifully whines about all this and wrings their hands while pushing NATO troops secretly into supporting military suppression of Muslim voters: Egypt death toll rises in sit-ins crackdown – Middle East – Al Jazeera English
“The reports of deaths and injuries are extremely worrying,” Michael Mann, a spokesman for EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton said. ”We reiterate that violence won’t lead to any solution and we urge the Egyptian authorities to proceed with utmost restraint.” Turkey’s president Abdullah Gul branded the crackdown as “unacceptable”.
“An armed intervention against civilian people who stage protests is unacceptable, regardless of its justification,” Gul said in televised remarks, voicing fears Egypt’s crisis could deteriorate into a situation similar to the conflict in neighbouring Syria.
And Germany’s foreign minister, Guido Westerwelle, urged supporters of Egypt’s interim government, as well as supporters of Morsi to renounce violence. ”We call on all political forces to return immediately to negotiations and avert an escalation of violence,” he told reporters. ”All further bloodshed must be prevented.”
With billions in funds from the US which supports the Egyptian military coup, the iron fist takes over all aspects of government: Appointment of 19 Generals as Governors Raises Fears in Egypt. The ‘liberal’ fools who thought the military was saving them will now see that this same military will now brutally suppress them, too. History is crystal clear about this.
Feebly, barely showing even slight concern, the White House condemns Egyptian military crackdown – Israel News, Ynetnews
White House spokesman Josh Earnest said the Egyptian military’s bloody weekend crackdown on demonstrators, in which 80 people were gunned down in Cairo, sets back the process of democratization in Egypt and does not square with the interim government’s pledge to swiftly return to civilian rule.
But asked if the violence would prompt the United States to suspend aid to Egypt’s military, Earnest said: “I don’t have any change in our posture to report to you today.” He said aid is under review, as it has been since Egypt’s military takeover on July 3. (Reuters)
No ending of funding! Nothing concrete being done. No condemnation at the UN. The Zionist who trotted out of the occupied WH had no shame in being the spokesperson. The WH knows perfectly well, never in the history of US-funded CIA coups does ‘democracy’ show up. It always ends with decades of dictatorship. From August 2, 2013: Kerry’s dangerous praise for Egyptian army – Salon.com
.But, and this is crucial, the Egyptian army is brutalizing and slaughtering en masse Morsi’s Islamist supporters, entrenching fierce sectarian divisions. It is in this context, which, as Kingsley noted, is far from straightforward, that the U.S. Secretary of State offered what the New York Times called “the strongest endorsement yet by the United States of the military intervention, which the Obama administration has refused to call a coup.”
With blood of Islamists on the street, Kerry praised the army for “restoring democracy.”
There seems nothing Netanyahu and his fellow Jewish Zionists can do to make Kerry or Obama turn heel and tell them all to go to hell. So these guys slap around Kerry and Obama with impunity while sneering and laughing while Kerry and Obama continue to coddle extremely violent and vicious dictatorial regimes in the Gulf States and of course, arming anti-Assad people so they can violently overthrow the government there. Bahrain Deports AMERICAN U.S. Teacher for ‘Radical’ Writing, because she wrote for the Human Rights organization there!
NOT A PEEP from the creeps running the State Department, of course. No blather about how democracy and freedom should rule not fat, ugly toads masquerading as ‘royals’. Her recent article, “In Oman, Protest. Arrest. Pardon. Repeat.” is what enraged the brutal rulers of Bahrain who put in prison doctors who took care of demonstrators who were shot and beaten recently.
