(This Gazan Palestinian family looks very Jewish, don’t they?)

As the Warsaw Ghetto battle rages in Gaza, many curious things are getting into motion.  The Muslim world teeters on the edge of total chaos which will, as oil prices plummet, cause revolutions and wars to rage.  There are many people who are very content to sit around and look only at ‘economic’ matters and not pay attention to the role wars play in economics.   But economics and wars go hand in glove!  Ignoring this is stupid, to be blunt about it.  The intractable wars whirling out of the Holy Land are, in particular, very dangerous since these can suck in all the Great Powers and even cause the end of all living things on earth as crazed super-giants use the evilest weapons on earth to butcher as many people as possible.

Because we are already in a global depression, this makes these wars particularly dangerous.  The US is still the global military police state empire.  We can easily kill everyone on this planet.  Our support of Apocalyptic politics is very dangerous.  In the last election, open ‘End of Time’ Christians and hyper-Holocaustic Jewish advisors and financiers gave us only war mongers as our choices for President.  The difference between Obama and Hillary Clinton’s foreign policies were paper thin and both were barely two sheets different from McCain who simply wanted to bomb, bomb, bomb anyone who was resisting Zionism.

The many Muslim dictatorships fear not the Zionists, they work hand in glove with them, they fear their own people the most.  It is no shock to me that the only places the US and Israel hates the most are the only places where there were real elections or revolutions that displaced US/Zionist puppet regimes.  People are not reminded, for example, that the present ruler of Saudi Arabia is a guy  who ascended to his bloody throne via the assassination of  King Faisal in 1975.  Faisal, himself, ascended to the throne via a military-style coup.  Saudi Arabia is far from being a stable country.  It most certainly is not a democracy in any way, shape or form.

One of the biggest media lies is to append the word ‘moderate’ to outright vicious regimes that have zero democracy.  Some half-breed ‘democracies’ like Egypt are fake.  But this radical regimes that pay zero attention to their own people and which are willing to butcher their own people for political reasons are held up as the model for all Muslim peoples.  When, in a show put on to deflect rising fury in captive Muslim populations, the US and Israel cooked up an actual election in the captive Palestinian territories.  This backfired badly.

The Palestinians didn’t vote the way we hoped.  Right away, when the veil of ‘moderation’ was yanked off, the US and Israel went into hyper-speed denial mode.  ALL of the major Muslim overlords were frightened to death.  The cheers they heard in the streets outside penetrated their bullet-proof windows of their palaces.  The very last thing these ugly despots want, is for any Muslims ‘on the streets’ to have any say at all in any of their affairs!  The US and Israel dealt with this ruthlessly: all these parties who hate the ‘Arab Street’ got together to plot a coup.

I remember this well!  They talked about the need for a ‘moderate, benign dictatorship’ that would be ‘technological’ sort of like what the US has imposed on places like Mexico.  A government that ignores voters, elections and the will of the People.  Someone who would cooperate with the Real Rulers, not democracy.  To hell with that!

So the US and Israel set up a puppet regime run by this rabbit of a man, Abbas.   This Quisling couldn’t wait to get paid by the US to rule his people with an iron fist.  Only he couldn’t do it.  He failed.  Hamas kicked him out of Gaza entirely when he tried to exert dictatorial power there.  Gaza was not going to go down the road of Egypt or Jordan!  They resisted.  This resistance infuriated not only the US and Israel but all the dictators who either get billions of dollars from the US taxpayers, it infuriated the Sunni Arab kings and overlords.

Now, are are trembling in fear because the Gazan people refuse to surrender.  It is as horrible as the Warsaw Ghetto during the Nazi assaults but the people there cling to the notion, they have the right to elect their own leaders, to hell with puppets and kings!  This is REVOLUTIONARY.  In the extreme!  The despots of this planet hate the Palestinian people for their temerity in declaring they have their own sovereignty as a People.  This troubles many, many rulers.

Fear of being overthrown has caused the fat rabbits running despotic dictatorships to denounce the butchery of the Gazan resisters.  But they want them all killed.  If the US and Israel do this dirty job for them, they can both condemn us for doing this while shaking hands in private.  As if this is fooling anyone!  Bin Laden’s entire revolution is based on exposing them for what they are: traitors.  Traitors to Islam.  And I keep saying, eventually, a white horse bearing bin Laden’s bones will prance into Mecca and the revolution will overturn many thrones and powers across the planet.  This is bin Laden’s desire: to cleanse Islam of these rapacious rabbits who rule many an oil-soaked land.

Now, on to the news today:  We are nearing a time when the oil pumping nations will go up in flames due to a complete collapse in income.  And many people blame Saudi Arabia for flooding the planet with oil in July, last year.  The battle for the minds of people being waged between IRAN and the rest of the Muslim overlords is heating up.  And Iran is winning hearts and minds while the side that is ‘moderate’ according to US propaganda, are being shown up as despicable.

Al Jazeera English – Americas – Obama’s Gaza silence condemned

Despite growing pressure on Barack Obama to speak out on the crisis in Gaza, the US president-elect has remained silent on the issue.

Obama, holidaying in Hawaii, has made no public remarks on Israel’s unrelenting military assault on the Palestinian territory, which has left more than 380 people there dead.

The former Illinois senator spoke out after last month’s attacks in Mumbai and has made detailed statements on the US economic crisis.

But some fear that the US president-elect’s reluctance to speak out on the Gaza raids could be sending its own message.

“Silence sounds like complicity,” Mark Perry, the Washington Director of the Conflicts Forum group, told Al Jazeera.

“Obama has said that Israel has the right to defend itself from rocket attacks but my question to him is ‘does he believe that Palestinians also have the right of self-defence?'”…Obama’s aides have repeatedly said he is monitoring the situation and continues to receive intelligence briefings but that he is not yet US president.

But George Bush, the current US leader, has also remained silent on Israel’s attacks although the White House has offered its support to Israel.

Silence is complicity. The US isn’t just an outside observer here: we are the force that is crushing the Palestinians. Israel’s ‘teeth’ were put in by US dentists in the Pentagon. These destructive dental job was paid for and is still paid for by the US tax payers. Even as we were told for years, we can’t afford actual dental work for US poor who must go around with missing teeth, we spend many billions a year, paying Israel neighbors to betray Islam and giving Israel tremendous military advantages.

Every single bomb falling on Gaza is ‘PAID in America’. As our economic system collapses, it is just amazing to me to see our ‘leaders’ refuse to talk about money and war and their refusal to stop paying for everyone’s wars even as we pretend to condemn wars. I do note that the media has finally ceased talking about Darfur. They dropped Darfur during the elections to talk about how evil China was for suppressing Tibetan rioters who were killing Han Chinese. But the minute the election here was over, the Darfur talk went back to ‘normal’.

As Darfur was mentioned more and more in the media here during December, I figured the Zionists were preparing to unleash another hellish round of fighting. The Israeli election is coming up in two weeks. Time to bloody some slaves. I have noted over the years, the US cannot have democracy at home if we sponsor tyranny abroad. And I also maintained that if the US continues to support Israel as Israel becomes increasingly fascistic, fascism will rise in the US, too.

We had an election where people let our ruling elites know that we want a more liberal government, not a more fascistic one. But the way things are run here, we were all herded into voting only for fascists. Obama won only because he managed to hide his fascism more cleverly than his rivals. Now, he drops his mask.

BBC NEWS | Middle East | Iranian raid on Ebadi condemned

A US state department official said the raid was another example of Iran’s refusal to respect international norms.

The French authorities summoned the Iranian ambassador to inform him of the European Union’s disapproval.

Canada said the raid appeared to be part of an effort to impede the work of Ms Ebadi and other rights campaigners.

Human Rights Watch, a US -based rights group, said it was extremely worried about Ms Ebadi’s safety, following Monday’s raid when officials removed computers and documents from her private office in Tehran.

A brave woman tries to encourage liberalism in Iran.  I support her efforts and applaud her bravery.  But she is a tool to be used in the West to destroy her nation and destroy democracy.  She is helpless since her only allies on the outside are ravening fascists who hate her and her people.  This news story quotes ‘Human Rights Watch’ which is an organization that has firm beliefs which turn to jelly when it comes to Palestine.

Israel/Hamas: Civilians Must Not Be Targets | Human Rights Watch

“Firing rockets into civilian areas with the intent to harm and terrorize Israelis has no justification whatsoever, regardless of Israel’s actions in Gaza,” said Joe Stork, deputy director of Human Rights Watch’s Middle East and North Africa division. “At the same time, Israel should not target individuals and institutions in Gaza solely because they are part of the Hamas-run political authority, including ordinary police. Only attacks on military targets are permissible, and only in a manner that minimizes civilian casualties.”

Human Rights Watch investigated three Israeli attacks that raise particular concern about Israel’s targeting decisions and require independent and impartial inquiries to determine whether the attacks violated the laws of war. In three incidents detailed below, 18 civilians died, among them at least seven children.

It’s OK for Israel to bomb Gaza.  They just have to be sort of more careful about it.  Too bad, people die and all that.  But then, Gaza isn’t a nation or even a ‘people.’  It is a GHETTO.  This makes the entire pretense that Gaza and Israel are sovereign nations at war.  Gaza has no army, navy or air force.  It is a REFUGEE CAMP.

Israel/Hamas: Civilians Must Not Be Targets | Human Rights Watch

Human Rights Watch noted that many of Israel’s airstrikes, especially during the first day, targeted police stations as well as security and militia installations controlled by Hamas. According to the Jerusalem Post, an attack on the police academy in Gaza City on December 27 killed at least 40, including dozens of cadets at their graduation ceremony as well as the chief of police, making it the single deadliest air attack of the campaign to date. Another attack, on a traffic police station in the central Gaza town of Deir al-Balah, killed a by-stander, 12-year-old Camilia Ra`fat al-Burdini. Under the laws of war, police and police stations are presumptively civilian unless the police are Hamas fighters or taking a direct part in the hostilities, or police stations are being used for military purposes.

“Israel must not make a blanket decision that all police and police stations are by definition legitimate military targets,” Stork said. “It depends upon whether those police play a role in fighting against Israel, or whether a particular police station is used to store weapons or for some other military purpose.”

Ruthlessly, for more than half a century, the very well-armed Jewish Zionists have relentlessly herded, harassed, killed and maimed the natives of Palestine, shoving all of them into increasingly smaller and smaller and more and more restricted ghettos.  The arms of Israel include illicit nuclear missiles.  No one is pushing this terrorist state to eliminate nuclear bombs.  Instead, all of the Great Powers are threatening war with Iran because Iran wants the same arms Israel has.

In this case, Human Rights Watch want the Palestinians to be totally disarmed while trapped in a ghetto for generations.  They want to allow Israel to bully anyone they wish while the Palestinians are supposed to rely on the mercy of heartless human rights watchers who happily call upon the US to bomb, bomb, bomb Africans  but not bomb, bomb, bomb Israelis.  This organization is hopeless.  They wring their hands and weep for dead Palestinians but do NOT call for Israel’s leaders to be put on trial at the Hague.  They do not call on the US to cease funding not only Israel’s war machine, but also cease supporting brutal dictatorships that surround the Palestinians in this iron ring of tyranny.

Human Rights Watch does condemn the Jewish blockade of the ghetto.  But how do you break blockades, you blockheads?

VIA FIGHTING.  And via denying money and arms to the ones blocking the ghetto and starving the inmates.  If Human Rights Watch wanted to be useful, they would denounce Zionism and equate it with Naziism.  But they won’t do this any more than the Arab despots want the Palestinians to be a free people.

Israel stifles free press covering Gaza – World – The State

But, as the BBC’s Jo Floto noted last month after Israel first barred journalists from entering Gaza, Israel has joined a notorious and small list of countries preventing reporters from doing their job.

Israel, which prides itself on being the healthiest democracy in the Middle East, joins North Korea, Zimbabwe and Burma in denying media access to a major story.

In essence, Israel has transformed the entire Gaza Strip into a closed military zone.

Reporters from every major news organization, from the BBC and CNN to The New York Times and The Washington Post to NPR and McClatchy to AP and Fox News, are being barred by Israel from going into Gaza to cover the deadliest military campaign there since Israel seized the area from Egypt in the 1967 war.

The Foreign Press Association, of which McClatchy Newspapers is a part, has called the Israeli closure “insufferable” and asked the Israeli Supreme Court to take immediate action to lift the ban.

So far, Israel’s high court has been slow to act and shows no sign that it is overly concerned. Appeals for a swift decision have been repeatedly rejected and the case won’t be heard until Wednesday.

The NYT is suing in court in the Israeli police state, hoping to get into Gaza.  But the NYT is NOT running this story as a main headline.  It is not making a big issue about this.  Of course, news coverage in the US itself is very heavily censored.  Many odd conspiracy theories thrive due to the overall blanket of denial which prevents us from seeing a great deal of the  news.  What particularly sickens me about the entire Israeli machinery is how very learned and clever Jews manage to be so very stupid and cruel at the same time.

There are many, many Jewish lawyers in the world.  They have a very high presence in this field.  There are many Jewish lawyers here in America that are constitutional experts and teachers in major universities.  They know perfectly well, how courts should act.  Yet, here they are, acting exactly like the infamous Nazi judges under Hitler.  These judges started out with a fairly decent reputation and over the years, as Naziism destroyed all feelings of humanity and sanity, they became increasingly odious.  And were condemned to death at the Nüremberg Trials.

They, in particular, were held up as criminals due to their fascist rulings and actions!  The Jews in Israel know this history!  Yet, they are repeating it.  The judges in that benighted state know perfectly well, they are colluding with the fascist government by dragging their heels in hearing the requests to have a free press.  Yawn.  They sit there, in their bloody robes, covering their mouths with the back of their hands.  They don’t care who is dying so long as they are sub-humans.  Again: the US should condemn this but we are war criminals, ourselves.  And our own courts drag their heels when it comes to hearings about our own war crimes.

Not to mention Congress that refuses to even have hearings about obvious suspensions of our Constitution as well as war crimes!  They intend to rule us in exactly the same fascistic fashion as Israeli Jews rule their kingdom.

Israel stifles free press covering Gaza – World – The State

Today, the FPA issued a a new statement of protest, calling the Israeli ban “unprecedented.”

“Never before have journalists been prevented from doing their work in this way,” the FPA said in the statement. “We believe that it is vital that journalists be allowed to find out for themselves what is going on in Gaza.”

Considering that Gaza is controlled by Hamas and that Israeli officials have cautioned reporters to be skeptical of the information coming out of Gaza at this time, you would think that Israel would want to allow reporters in to provide an independent view of the conflict.

If the mosque and university buildings were being used to house weapons, as Israel claims, why not let international reporters in to see?

But, in probably the most candid assessment of the situation from an Israeli official, Shlomo Dror, a spokesman for the Israeli military, said last month that they don’t particularly like the coverage that comes out of Gaza.

“Where Gaza is concerned, our image will always be bad,” Dror said. “When journalists go in it works against us, and when they don’t go in it works against us.”

Despite this news, in America, propaganda will continue to call Israel a bastion of freedom and democracy.  ‘The only democracy in the Middle East,’ is the boast.  Well, it is hard to have rival democracies when they are instantly attacked by Israel and the US as well as the other despots there!  Now, the other democracy in the Middle East, Iran, is back at it again, revealing lies via their actions which, like the Xmas speech, clearly shows how depraved the US and Israel have become:

The news about this ship isn’t news anywhere except on You Tube and in Iran!  The Arab despots all howl about how Iran is supporting Hamas.  But then, do they support Hamas?  Of course not!  Hamas is the harbinger of revolution that might sweep all these despots off their thrones!  So they scream as Iran does what they should be doing.  The news about the US/EU ship that was rammed by Israeli boats barely made the news in the US.  One media story did include one of the Americans on this boat, talking about the USS Liberty which Israel sank many years ago.

No follow-up stories, though.  The USS Liberty has been buried by our government and Israel.  The Jewish media owners refuse to cover the story at all.  This story has leeched out of its grave via the internet and now, more and more people know about it.  Still, Congress ignores this because AIPAC and the DNC want no mention of Jewish war crimes against Americans, much less, Palestinians.  When this big ship comes to Gaza, the Israelis will attack it, full force.  This can trigger the war Israel wants with Iran.

Now, back to the economy:  a war between Israel and Iran will destroy us.  Forget how much oil will cost.  There will be little oil at all, maybe none for export from any parts of the Middle East!  The complex series of events leading up to this mega-event are painfully obvious now and we can’t stop it by screaming at Gaza and Iran to stop resisting us.  The fact that the news about this ship is being censored by the media is frightening.  Do they hope to simply look aside as Israel sinks it and no one will know?  They did this to the USS Liberty!  The media, that is, was in full collusion with Israel back then and all the way up to today.  So expecting more of this is no stretch of the imagination.

Israeli Ambassador Blames ‘Octopus’ Iran for Gaza Fighting | News From Antiwar.com

Speaking again on the situation in the Gaza Strip Sallay Meridor, Israel’s Ambassador to the United States, declared that “what you see in Gaza is made by Iran – its funded by Iran, the terrorists are trained by Iran, it’s supplied by Iran, the know-how to create short range rockets is Iranian.” One can then glean from these comments that Israel sees Iran as an issue in it latest war.

But Ambassador Meridor didn’t stop there, explaining that “as an octopus, Iran has proxies in region and beyond the region.” He also repeated the oft-heard,rarely substantiated accusation that Iran was “moving towards nuclear weapons.” Interestingly, this was the second time since the war began that the ambassador pointed to Iran as an octopus, claiming before that they were the “center of an octopus that was determined to undermine democracy.”

Israel is frightened that Iran might get even stronger.  Iran’s finances were not flooded with nearly as much oil profits as the Arab despotic kingdoms surrounding Iran.  So the loss of oil revenues is painful but not a shock.  Whereas, all the millions of people who are basically on welfare to keep them silent are now seeing their welfare payments vanish, starting….about now.  Israel’s saber rattling is already turning around oil profits for the Arabs.

Also, notice how the weasel Israeli ambassador again, equates Iran with being anti-democratic!  This is part and parcel of the propaganda points that always calls Hamas and Iran’s government, ‘regimes’ rather than ‘democracies’.  The US democracy started in 1789 was NOT ‘moderate’ at all but was REVOLUTIONARY.  The despots in England and mainland Europe hated us.  Except the French.  The French Crown supported our revolution in order to weaken England. Then, our revolution shot back to Paris and the king was killed and they had their own revolution.

This sort of dynamic fills many rulers today with fear.  If the Palestinians have ‘democracy’ this means, it might SPREAD.  Heaven help these despots!  They could alienate their own Sunni people into denying the need for a revolution by inflaming everyone over the Sunni/Shi’a split.  Which the US helped along by invading Iraq and letting this flare up in a major way.

But the Iranian Shi’ites are supporting Sunni Palestinians!  This is an arrow straight into the hearts of all Sunni-rulers.  They must keep this alliance from spreading to their own people.  The Iranian revolution can trigger many others this way!  The fact that only Hezbollah freedom fighters were able to defy Israel is very significant.  And they have formed an alliance with the Sunni Palestinians in the Israeli ghettos.  Abbas is hopeless and has not done even the slightest thing to stop the annihilation of Palestinian sovereignty.  But Hamas resists and this resistance is the core of future Sunni revolutions.

Al Jazeera English – Middle East – Abbas blames Hamas for bloodshed

Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian president, has blamed Hamas for triggering Israel’s deadly raids on Gaza, by not extending a six-month truce with the Jewish state.

He also blamed Hamas, which controls the coastal Gaza Strip territory, for disrupting national unity talks that could have paved the way for general and presidential elections.

“We have warned of this grave danger,” he said in Cairo, Egypt, on Sunday.

“We talked to them [Hamas] and we told them, ‘please, we ask you, do not end the truce. Let the truce continue and not stop”, so that we could have avoided what happened.”

‘Please, please surrender,’ hisses Vidkun Quisling.

People don’t remember that this man was tried and executed after WWII.  HE WAS EXECUTED FOR ALLOWING THE NAZIS TO KILL JEWS.  This cannot be emphasized enough.  Today, his home is a Holocaust museum!  Maybe, we can turn Abbas home into a museum memorial to the Infantada. How on earth can Abbas have national unity talks when he allowed the Jews and Americans enroll him as a Quisling on their behalf?  Talk about a marriage made in hell.

BBC NEWS | UK | UK Politics | UK offers emergency aid to Gaza

Israel has rejected calls for a 48-hour halt to its military action while it continues to come under attack itself from militants in Gaza.

Its government has said it would do “everything it could” to ensure civilians in Gaza get humanitarian aid, including opening border crossings closed during the recent blockade to allow supplies in.

Both EU and UN have called for an end to the violence while the US has said the onus is on Hamas, the militant group which controls the Gaza Strip, to commit to a truce.

The humanitarian situation is getting worse by the day
Douglas Alexander

Announcing the £6.9m ($10m) pledge of emergency aid, International Development Secretary Douglas Alexander said the humanitarian situation in Gaza was fast deteriorating.

“We are keen to get aid into Gaza because that aid is desperately needed,” he told the BBC Radio 4’s Today programme.

If the British are ‘keen’ on getting aid to Gaza, they can sail into there with WAR SHIPS and shoot at any Israelis who try to stop them.  HAHAHA.  Won’t happen.  And Britain should hand Israel’s ambassador with an ultimatum.  But then, they won’t.  This is all just hot air to deflect anger at home as well as abroad.  It is part of the same puppet show being put on by Arab kings.  The EU has to take sides, not wring their hands, too.  They have to call in the Israeli ambassadors and chew them out.  Then send out a flotilla of ships with lots of aid.  Time is running out.  The Iranian ship will be there in just four more days!

This is why I have these long postings: to tie in so many elements so I can predict the future.  In this case, if the Iranian ship comes to Gaza, all hell will break out for all the lies, deceptions and foolish words of the Arab rulers and the West will be exposed as just so much hot air.  Something will give.  Will it be a revolution in Egypt?  An assassination in Saudi Arabia?  Or Israel nuking Iran?  WWIII can happen.

Jewish Organizations Call For End to Gaza Bombings – by Ali Gharib

In addition to a flurry of press releases, officials from the groups are making regular appearances in the media and organizing conference calls.

But instead of offering unquestioning support of Israel’s latest military venture in the decades-long conflict, four major Jewish organizations are calling for an immediate end to the bombings, and for humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip….

“You see a voice that is increasingly clear and has a significant resonance in the American Jewish community, and beyond the Jewish community, that takes a position, stakes it grounds, and won’t be intimidated,” said Daniel Levy, a former Israeli negotiator and the director of New America Foundation’s Middle East Task Force, one of the four groups.

“This is an important position to be taking,” he told IPS. “It’s moving the ball forward on redefining the parameters of the debate on what it means to be responsibly and thoughtfully – rather than reflexively – pro-Israel.”

Moderate Arab States Feel Popular Anger Over Israeli Action Against Hamas – NYTimes.com

The sharpest rhetorical attacks have been aimed at Egypt, which is widely seen as having aided the Israeli campaign by closing its border with Gaza.

But as major street demonstrations continued Tuesday from North Africa to Yemen, some marchers and opinion-makers also lashed out at other moderate Arab governments for failing to take a stronger stand. Syria and Iran, meanwhile, have drawn praise for their militancy.

The Egyptian president, Hosni Mubarak, gave a televised address to defend his decision not to open the border with Gaza except for humanitarian purposes. He derided “those who are seeking political gains at the expense of the Palestinian people.”

Although Jordan and Saudi Arabia — solid American allies — have been careful not to blame Hamas publicly, the violence has put them on the defensive, too.

“It’s becoming clear that if you are silent, the Arab street is going to consider you part of the enemy,” said Muhammad al-Masri, a researcher and political analyst at the Center for Strategic Studies in Amman, Jordan. “There is no way to be in the middle.”…

Recently, government-allied newspapers in Egypt have lashed out at Iran and its ally Hezbollah, whose leader, Hassan Nasrallah, demanded Sunday that Egypt open its border and allow weapons and supplies to flow to Hamas.

Mr. Nasrallah “has illusions that people in Egypt will take his orders, and that the government here submits to the kind of bribery he is used to in his country,” wrote Usama Saraya in Tuesday’s edition of Al Ahram, an Egyptian daily newspaper.

Television stations and newspapers allied with Iran and Syria continued to portray Egypt as a traitor. Some commentators had harsh words for other Arab states.

These three stories show that the Jewish media knows perfectly well, what is at stake.  They know that the effort to keep the Muslim ‘street’ suppressed is on the verge of blowing up in everyone’s faces. The Jordanian who mentions, ‘There is no way to be in the middle’ is correct: this is how ALL revolutions happen.  The middle vanishes.  In this case, it was killed by the US and Israel.  ‘Moderate’ is used in the title of this story in the NYT but there are no ‘moderate’ regimes involved: they are all despotic and cruel and totally and utterly anti-democratic.  The only countries that are not this way are the ones the US and Israel are attacking, nonstop.

I promised to also cover the news about Jewish groups that are against this madness.  Yes, there are tiny splinter groups that are extremely brave!  They are like a little boy with a finger in a dam.  Only the water is rushing over the top!  As well as seeping in the ground.  The sane people crying in the wilderness are correct and I support them and applaud them.  But this won’t stop the madness.  Israel’s Jewish masses are mostly howling for more blood and even openly talking about murdering all Palestinians including ‘citizens’ of Israel.

And the US doesn’t condemn this sort of talk.  Nor does Europe.  Instead, they call on both the militarily-helpless Palestinians to stop fighting one of the most brutal military powers on earth!  As if they are equals.  And both, sovereign states!  Until the Jews who are against all these crimes figure out that the entire concept of a Jews-only state is bad for Judaism as well as the entire planet, once they embrace the separation of religion and state and opt for real liberalism, then this will stop, I hope.

Alas, the Palestinian Muslims are hyper-radicalized just like the Shi’a in Iran when their own revolution happened!  This is the nature of revolutions.  The Jews should also read this closely: they are in grave danger in Europe and America due entirely to their fascistic behavior in the Middle East.  This is already causing a backlash that will only grow worse and worse.  Recently, using underhanded methods behind the scenes, Jewish powers have killed off a boycott of Israel that was being fostered in England.  All the professors who suggested this are either being fired or running for cover.  We lose our freedoms every day and Israeli agents in the US are directly responsible for writing and then passing as well as enforcing our horrible ‘Patriot Act’ which circumvents our own Constitution.

Al Jazeera English – Middle East – Gulf summit divided on Gaza action

The Saudi government has called for an immediate end to Israel’s attacks but observers said it appeared to not want to be seen endorsing a summit which may boost support for Hamas, which is backed by Iran and Syria.

“Obviously it will be difficult for them to reach a unified stance on the matter. Saudi Arabia has no interest in helping Hamas through political stances and it is aware that an Arab summit will do only that,” a unnamed senior Arab diplomat told Reuters after Tuesday’s meeting of Gulf Cooperation Summit (GCC) leaders in Muscat.

“For Qatar, this portrays it as a defender of Arabs. This divide is not unique to the Gulf; the Arab world is divided along these lines.”…Officials at the GCC summit tried to steer clear from discussing the details of the Gaza crisis which had imposed itself on the agenda of an otherwise economic meeting aimed at approving a monetary union.

The puppet show of the Saudis is very unconvincing.  But note the last line!  After Iran pushed hard, the OPEC overlords are now so alarmed at the collapse of US economic power and the collapse of the dollar, they are pushing harder than ever to have an alternative system for financing and doing oil business abroad.  This is a BIG change and is very popular with the ‘street’ which wishes to see the US reduced to pauper status.

We depend on many people who hate our guts, for our fuel and finances.  This is totally insane.  And is why we need to change direction!  HAHAHA.  Right….as if this is even slightly possible.

Al Jazeera English – Middle East – Iran urges Arabs to act on Gaza

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the president of Iran, has told the Arab League it should take action “quickly” to end the Israeli attacks on Gaza.

Speaking on Wednesday as Arab ministers met in Cairo, Ahmadinejad warned that setting up committees and making speeches would not be an adequate response to the offensive that has killed nearly 400 Palestinians.

“If the Arab League does not want to do anything today, when does it want to act?” he told a rally in Zahedan in southeast Iran, the Reuters news agency reported….

“Many people believe it shouldn’t have taken 390 Palestinian casualties and 2,000 Palestinian injuries for the Arab ministers to get together.”

She said the outcome of the meeting could echo the league’s emergency summit on the war in Lebanon in 2006, which failed to lead to a concrete response.

Jordan’s Prince El Hassan Bin Talal told Al Jazeera he believed that action from league members was “overdue” and that more demonstrations would be held across the Arab world in protest against Israel’s bombardment of the Gaza Strip

“I think the need for the organisation of an Islamic conference position is long overdue and one of an Arab League position is also overdue,” he said.

Iran takes the lead, as always.  And they, not us, are winning this war in the long, long run.  The US imagines, if we keep our troops in various nations, the people won’t overthrow our system.  But we forget: people can read!  And everyone in the Middle East knows, the US is going down in flames.  Our economy is now in ruins, our banking system is nearly totally bankrupt.

They know we are very deep in debt and running up debts at a fabulous rate now.  They, like the Chinese, can see the obvious outcome.  They know that we will be unable to be the dam that stops all revolutions in the Muslim world.  They can see the light at the end of this tunnel.  It is a blazing flame of Islam.

The more the Jews hammer the Palestinians, the brighter this flame.  I wish they could understand this.  The flame of Islam was guttering back in 1948.  Every year, it grows brighter.  This is an unescapable dynamic!  Alas.

I wish we didn’t have to think about all this.  It is not fun to write about.  I lose readers whenever I talk about all this stuff.  It is NOT popular in the US.  but I swore I would try to tell the Truth as I see it.  This burden can’t be put aside.  We can’t focus on money without focusing on the Middle Eastern mess.  For remember: this is all about the Cave of Wealth AND Death.

The question is HOW do they overcome US/israeli military power, rioting in the street won’t do it. US is bk but thats a long process.

    We are all Palestinians now

I agree the revolution you mentioned is against the Zionist new world order bankers and their dupes.
    .
Saudi Arabia should be worried, they hold their people under a deceptive tyranny. Hopefully the US and other zionist puppet regimes will soon begin to worry too as the people become angry enough to actually do something about it.

While American media regularly cover up Israeli actions, those of us who have visited the region first-hand witness a level of US-funded Israeli cruelty that makes us weep for our victims and fear for our country. While most Americans are uninformed on how Israel uses our money, people throughout the world are deeply aware that it is Americans who are funding Israeli crimes. Perhaps It’s time to kick AIPAC out of the US and tell Israel they are on their own.

Speaking of gold…what ever happened with the speculation that Comex would crash and burn by December 29?

I’m not complaining as gold has climbed to over $880 and I’m content but it looks like the gold bugs have cried wold again.

Enjoy your $1.50 gasoline, take that trip to grandmas house, go for that sunday drive. In one years time you will be begging for $5.00 gasoline. Hoard as much gasoline as you can at these prices. Embargoes are coming. Shortages. Long lines. Guaranteed. And Gold, you think Gold is expensive @ $900??? The Arab states DO NOT have the petro-dollars anymore to purchase the INTEREST on our national debt. Gold is going to be part of the new gulf states currency, and it will EXPLODE!!! Oil went from $150 to $35, and gold went sideways. That means there are HUGE buyers. Wake the fuck up people, dump your dollars NOW!!!

PLovering it reminds me of Koreagate.

Years ago there was an FBI sting where they revealed
that money was coming from Korean officials to
bribe Congressmen. We gave Korea big Foreign Aid
bucks at the time and they broke off a few million and sent it back to the US to bribe Congress to keep the Aid money coming.

Its like a perpetual motion machine. If you can spend a few
million to bribe officials in another country to keep giving
    you billions, eureka!

Just found out Wolf Blitzer used to work as PR man for
AIPAC back in the 80’s. In 1990 he started working

That the world knows our banking system is bankrupt is true, but even WORSE for the US is most in the world know our banking system is controlled by banking criminals. It would be preferrable if the US banking system were run by people who are merely incompetent. Being bankrupt AND corrupt is much worse than being “just” bankrupt. And to make matters STILL worse, it is generally known that the US CONgress is in the pockets of the corrupt bankers. I think many Americans would be surprised to discover with what low regard they are held in the rest of the world. They wouldn’t be going around shouting, “USA!USA! We’re number 1!” Well maybe they would anyways. Ugh.

  19. It’s pretty absurd that this Hal Turner dude claims to have this mountain of evidence, but he’s scared to release it for fear of litigation. How wickedly evil are the ones who keep crying and ranting Holocaust only to refine the killing process that was “used” on them in the concentration camps and ghettos. Step 1.) corral the Palestinians behind a wall; Step 2.) cut of all medical supplies, water and and food; Step 3.) bomb them to smithereens instead of gassing them; and Step 4.) send the bill to Uncle Sam.

@Ralph: If you intend to hoard gasoline, you will also need to hoard the anti-gelling compounds needed to keep gasoline useful. Sta-bil is the most mentioned brand name.
@GoldBugs ( you know who you are ).Gold stores wealth; it is not MONEY. Money is not wealth, it was a representation of real wealth when and only so long as it was attached/exchangeable for real wealth. There are only three differences between FRNS ( federal work permits/Dollars ) and Monopoly© money. 1) Better printing on the FRNs, 2) A monopoly law called the Legal Tender law.
    3) Your willingness to accept that paper for your labour. Wealth comes from your production of things or your labour contribution to the production of things that other folks will trade with you for, and which trade leaves both of you better off by your individual reckonings than you were before the trade. Also about Gold, it carries a lot of wealth in a small volume and a small carrying weight. In the bad old days, one could pack some or all of ones wealth in the form of gold and walk or sail or ride to someplace where things were better than wherever you were at the time. Today there is no place to walk to, sail to or ride to that is without its huge dangers; not the least of which is confiscation of your gold and refusal of admittance of your person. So now the GoldBug is stuck in place with his store of wealth also stuck there with him. I am not denigrating gold, should the situation arise where no one places any faith in the FRN and the FRNs only support is the guns of the military that enforces where it can the legal tender laws; barter, gold, silver, coffee, alcohol ( imbibable ), pepper and other luxury goods will be mandatory.

    Swindler:

You are so right. People who always want war “over there” but want someone else’s son or daughter to do the fighting for “our ideals’ are arrogant cowards.
    _____
How many times have we heard friends and neighbors try to justify US involvement in distant wars by saying:
    _____
“well, they’ve been fighting “over there” for two thousand years so I guess it’s just one more war.”
    _____
Or they might say, “We ought to go over there and nuke them into dust in the desert.”
    _____
I’ve even heard them say, “Well we have to go over there and protect “our” oil.”
    _____
The best one is, “well, we’ve lost so many of our boys and girls that if we give up now, they will have died for nothing.” Makes me wonder if they want to double the numbers of our boys and girls who are dying.
    _____
Americans have learned this from their Rah! Rah1! USA mentality. This goes back to how our children are taught super agressive, win at all costs, competitiveness in our schools and churches. It goes something like this:
    _____
    We are best. Rah! Rah!
    _____
We are always right. Rah! Rah!
    _____
God had blessed us and we cannot fail. Rah! Rah!
    _____
(In the case of supporting Israel) Israel is God’s chosen people, since we support Israel’s warmaking, we are God’s chosen people also. Rah! Rah!
    _____
This attitude is a basic part of American culture, and perhaps many other national cultures also. Having self confidence is not altogether bad, but overconfidence and arrogance without pity for our fellow man is a recipe for pure evil.
    _____
These “good” big mouthed Americans who have never seen war themselves have little idea of just how terrible it is.
    _____
In the early battles of the Civil war, well-to-do Gentlemen and their ladies rode in their carriages to the battlefields outside Washington DC to watch the show. When the Confederates defeated McClellan, they were overcome with fear and there are accounts of their alarm as they whipped up their horses to escape back into Washington and safety. The same was true during Vietnam when the draft still existed and everyone who had a child or friend “over there” sat glued to their TVs, trying to see the loved one, and the murder and mayhem and burning villages and wounded children was a daily spectacle.
    _____
I’m for complete, uncensored news coverage of warfare the US is involved in. However, such coverage should have a prescribed formula.
    ______
The overall goals of both warring parties should be openly stated by the warring parties themselves…no pundits or interpretations of these facts allowed.
    _____
Then, we can have a little death and destruction entertainment with clips of buildings and people being blown to smithereens.
    _____
To cap off our evening’s entertainment in America, we need to see the results of our actions since Americans are “bottom line” oriented. All bodies of the dead on both sides need to be openly displayed and counted each day. This includes civilian children, women, men and finally soldiers of both sides.
    _____
As the national anthem plays somberly, we all need to create a new tradition where we stand in the safety of our parlors and put our hands over our hearts and salute those who died as the camera slowly pans over the rows and rows of dead bodies.
    _____
Wow! What a moving show that would be.
    _____
I propose a new way of thinking about involving ourselves in warfare.
    _____
Upon proposal of a new war, everyone, including our president, our Congress and every citizen should ask themselves the following question. If I am physically able, am I personally willing to take up a rifle and go murder other people in this proposed war?
    _____
If you believe any of this will ever happen in the US, come see me, I also sell Kansas beach property.
    _____
Well, enough of this for now…
    _____
Happy new year everyone, hang tight, grab someone and hold them close, and appreciate that we humans can love each other also.

DrKrbyLuv: you said to me: “Welcome to the real world…you may be shocked by what you are seeing but many of us have been horrified for a long time now and have been activists in trying to stop the insanity. Hopefully you become horrified enough to get off your ass and do something besides assume my tone.”

I don’t know how to say this right i am sure but…I’ve lived a hard life. to this day, i bet my back is stronger and my hands rougher than anyone i meet. I am not poor. i can hire anywhere, anytime the “skilled” things done. its easy to find a lawyer or doctor or dentist or accountant or contractor …. or especially find a smooth talking SOB. But nobody wants to do the hard things i have to get done every day. hard is what i do.

I am in my 60’s now, and i can honestly say that the only things i personally regret and that make me ashamed all stemmed from the violence i was when i was young. i think no matter how much you think you win that way, you forever lose so much more in the long run. maybe one time i was as violent as anyone you ever met. i was no poseur. maybe you would wet yourself if you met me up close and personal on a bad day. i wasn’t theoretical at all. nobody wanted to attract my attention. But something happened it seems so lately i realized that i haven’t killed or hurt anything at all for the last 30 years or so unless i simply had no other choice except for one particular specis of bug i simply cannot abide. “hurt”. i guess now i would rather be killed than kill.

I have been married for 30 years and only recently discovered my loving wife told my loving kids that i was incapable of feeling true love. she didn’t mean anything by it just how it was i think. i was utterly amazed. only yesterday i felt the most amazing love i thought driving home in the country looking at the winter sky as the sun went down. But if i did lose the capability of feeling “love” the way others think i should i bet it was because of all the time i was feeling rage and hate.

so your wishing for “revolution”, violent revolution it would be i thought…. well, i apologize for “assuming your tone”, but i know that violence and killing and even wishing violence on anyone in the long run does something really, really ugly to you that i don’t think can be undone. that is all i meant to say.

Hatred and fear go hand in glove. And power is a grave danger to the one in power. Great power drives people insane. The stronger one is, the more insane one becomes. Look at ALL world dictators who had power: the greater their control, the more hideous they were, and these people fear death and will kill millions of innocent people to stay alive, themselves!
    .
This is what is so sad about hyper-power, hyper-controls: they insure defeat. Our great empire is defeating itself this way, just for example. The Jewish desire to be rulers is destroying Judaism as a culture and as a religion. These paradoxes are not talked about enough.
    .
The Cave of Wealth and Death is all about this stuff: the more we want wealth so we can evade death, the more we die inside. Look at the ancient Romans: they enslaved nearly everyone and controlled nearly everything with, at that time, greatest efficiency. The emperors were, all the way down the line, stark raving mad.

    Sound familiar?

“Beware the leader who bangs the drums of war in order to whip the citizenry into a patriotic fervor, for patriotism is indeed a double-edged sword. It both emboldens the blood, just as it narrows the mind. And when the drums of war have reached a fever pitch and the blood boils with hate and the mind has closed, the leader will have no need in seizing the rights of the citizenry. Rather, the citizenry, infused with fear and blinded by patriotism, will offer up all of their rights unto the leader and gladly so. How do I know? For this is what I have done. And I am Caesar.”

    A LITTLE GUN HISTORY

In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. From 1929 to 1953, about 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
    ——————————

In 1911, Turkey established gun control. From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
    ——————————

Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945, a total of 13 million Jews and others who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.
    ——————————

China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated
    ——————————

Guatemala established gun control in 1964. From 1964 to 1981, 100,000 Mayan Indians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
    ——————————

Uganda established gun control in 1970. From 1971 to 1979, 300,000 Christians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
    ——————————

Cambodia established gun control in 1956. From 1975 to 1977, one million educated people, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
    —————————–

Defenseless people rounded up and exterminated in the 20th Century because of gun control: 56 million.
    ——————————

It has now bee n 12 months since gun owners in Australia were forced by new law to surrender 640,381 personal firearms to be destroyed by their own Government, a program costing Australia taxpayers more than $500 million dollars. The first year results are now in:

    List of 7 items:

Australia-wide, homicides are up 3.2 percent

    Australia-wide, assaults a re up 8.6 percent

Australia-wide, armed robberies are up 44 percent (yes, 44 percent)!

In the state of Victoria alone, homicides with firearms are now up 300 percent. Note that while the law-abiding citizens turned them in, the criminals did not, and criminals still possess their guns!

While figures over the previous 25 years showed a steady decrease in armed robbery with firearms, this has changed drastically upward in the past 12 months, since criminals now are guaranteed that their prey is unarmed.

There has also been a dramatic increase in break-ins and assaults of the ELDERLY. Australian politicians are at a loss to explain how public safety has decreased, after such monumental effort, and expense was expended in successfully ridding Australian society of gu ns The Australian experience and the other historical facts above prove it.

You won’t see this datum on the US evening news, or hear politicians disseminating this information.

Guns in the hands of honest citizens save lives and property and, yes, gun-control laws adversely affect only the law-abiding citizens.

Take note my fellow Americans, before it’s too late!

The next time someone talks in favor of gun control, please remind them of this history lesson.

With guns, we are ‘citizens’. Without them, we are ‘subjects’.

    As John Steinbeck once said:

    1. Don’t pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to fight, he’ll just kill you.

    2. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck.

    3. I carry a gun because a cop is too heavy.

    4. When seconds count, the cops are just minutes away.

    5. A reporter did a human-interest piece on the Texas Rangers. The reporter recognized the Colt Model 1911 the Ranger was carrying and asked him ‘Why do you carry a 45?’ The Ranger responded, ‘Because they don’t make a 46.’

    6. An armed man will kill an unarmed man with monotonous regularity.

    7. The old sheriff was attending an awards dinner when a lady commented on his wearing his sidearm. ‘Sheriff, I see you have your pistol. Are you expecting trouble?’ ‘No Ma’am. If I were expecting trouble, I would have brought my rifle.’

    8. Beware the man who only has one gun. HE PROBABLY KNOWS HOW TO USE IT!!!

  32. Gary

Incredible… I was quite bored the other day and went to the Comcast “Community Forums”. Thankfully I’m going back to work tomorrow ! The seething level of violence, the coarseness of emotions, the fear and the loathing of the commenters is
nothing short of horrifying. In America we must be, at this
point, capable of the same exact madness that descended on
a civilized nation like Germany 70ys ago. In fact with our
endemic media violence, violent video games, cage fighting,
gangbangers, and road rage, we are on a hair trigger for much worse behaviour yet than the Germans were. They were still playing Beethoven and Brahms before they went nuts. We have Dr Dre, Tupac Shakur, and “Kill Bill” movies.

  35. charlie the jester

Ever hear of German expressionism? It’s complete garbage. And yet, academic eggheads have convinced themselves that this is “art”.
    =
The degradation of the classical music tradition began with Wagner, and Romanticism.
    =
There was a major dispute in the music community with people like Brahms and Schumann denouncing Romanticism. Wagner denounced Mendelssohn because he was Jewish (by race) and claimed to be the heir to Beethoven’s legacy predicated on his alliance to German blood. Mendelssohn was clearly the musical heir but he died young along with many of the other classicists.
    =
The music of J.S. Bach is the lynchpin. All the great classical composers studied Bach (who was not famous until Mendelssohn gave him exposure) and rescued the art form from the gallant style. Wagner declared that Bach was not fully developed art and went his own way. Not 50 years later, a fine art tradition that had flourished for centuries years was in the crapper. Incidentally, Beethoven endorsed universal human rights, not German superiority.
    =
Wagner’s family was associates of Hitler, and even supplied him with the paper he used to pen Mien Kampf while incarcerated.

  36. DeVaul

I’ve always said that the right to bear arms is not a right to shoot your neighbor, but a right to shoot a person acting under the authority of an illigitimate government.
    :
That is why it is the Second Amendment. When the government takes away your First Amendment rights, and they always do (not your neighbors), the Second Amendment spells out very clearly how to get them back.
    :
Our ancestors understood this clearly, but today, gun nuts talk instead as if they were “cops on the beat” and part of the government themselves.
    :
What a bunch of idiots! The right to bear arms is kind of useless if you do not understand the true purpose behind it. As Plovering pointed out above, about 56 million people “didn’t get it” and now they are dead.

  37. Gary

I agree with the 2nd ammendment and the right to bear

You are right. The NRA and the gun people seem to be an adjunct of

We are not sophisticates here. The thought is actually hilarious
I’m a freaking programmer in a tool and die shop. I dont know
what DeVaul does but we are just plain people that for some
weird reason in life, have never accepted what authority figures
tell us. At least the media/political/church/corporate
authorities. I actually consider myself a left wing gun nut.
I’ve got 3 shotguns. Ithaca over and under, single shot
savage trap gun, and a beater Mossberg pump. I hate Pistols
and rifles but I dont begrudge their owners. I like bird hunting.
My problem with church people is that, like what Jesus used to
say, “they mistake the kingdom of heaven for the kingdom of earth” In that they love to suck up to power figures who present themselves as “Godly”. These power figures do not appeal to
real Christian values but the “christians” dont really seem to have
these values anyhow. Christians tend to labels themselves as
such and goto Church on Sunday not to live better lives and
understand the life of Jesus but they goto church to enhance
their personal feelings of power. And thus powerful people of
the church link up with the power figures in politics, military
corporate etc. If the Christians would only “come to Jesus”
then I would be more appreciative of them. As far as the
rednecks are concerned, they all want to be like the overseers
on Massa’s Cotton Plantation. They just love to get invited up
to sit on Massa’s verandah once in a while. Sip his Mint Julieps
or his good Bourbon. And bitch about not finding good help
    these days. Yeee Haaa.

The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes… such laws serve rather to encourage than to prevent homocides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man. (‘Commonplace Book’ 1775)

I carried a chambered Colt 1911 Gold Cup tucked in my waistband for 15 years. Had a 41/2 lb. trigger, ramped, polished, hard chrome receiver, Trijicon night sights, 9 rd. high cap mag. From a rest it would group 1″ at 50 meters. In CQB it would group 3′ at 25 meters. Loved that piece. Back then I used to believe, “it was better to own a handgun and not need one, than to need one and not have one”.
    [..]
Today I believe, “if you carry a handgun you will be given a reason to use it”. Something I learned from experience. You pack a piece and one way or another, trouble gravitates your way. It’s like a magnet. I was a walking code yellow mindset.
    [..]
Since I stopped doing this it lightened my load considerably. At the end of the day the best way to deal with a threat is to back off fast. Humility and a a cool head is as good as a shotgun in this situation. Get to safety and regroup. If the threat is serious and recurring, work a plan and bring it back to the threat on your terms. John Wayne looks good on TV, real life is another matter. The idea is to survive the exchange, not play bullet poker. A Walther P22 is realistically more effective in this setting.
    [..]
Which ever way it ends always remember, karma is a bitch and a half.
    [..]
Zorro, loved that quote of Ceasar, will add it to my favorites.

yesss. here is what christians are around here in the country. since the 1960’s, everyone was on drugs and having lots of fun. then in the last 10 years or so, it is funny to see the same people not only filling up the one old tyme church that used to sit empty, but there is another church full up too with repented sinners. most of them have lost at least a few teeth to meth, but once they started watching what their own kids were up to, they all ended up in AA and now are born again christians. none of them have anything to do with “powerful people” anywhere. none of them know what a powerful people looks like. give them a break. honest, none of them are really hateful. most of the time when they got out of jail and prison, they had learned to appreciate differences amongst folk.

    Zorro:

Your quoted words sound familiar as Shakespeare’s not Caesar’s. Caesar’s acts and words give the best example of Stoic reason; Caesar never excited his men less the citizenry, since Caesar believed terror or temerity to have been cause for losing battles. Here are some words of Caesar’s:

“…ad quos consectandos equitatum misit.” : After the women and children Caesar sent the cavalry.

“Tum fumi incendiorum procul videbantur; quae res omnem dubitationem adventus legionum expulit.” :
The smoke of the burning Celt villages removed all doubt of the arrival of Caesar’s legions.

Note the matter-of-fact cold blooded tone, and compare with Shakespeare’s portrayal.

I dont doubt a lot of them are decent people. Decent people
whose lives have been shattered by terrible jobs, terrible education,
and shot up in the military. I tell myself this all the time as I personally
know, like you, a lot of these people. They are decent people
as individuals but, BUT as a part of a church then things change.
Where was this church when about 20ys ago the greed machine
started outsourcing jobs and incomes. WHERE WAS THE CHURCH?
Where was the church when it became overwhealmingly obvious
the war was totally based on lies. Where was the church
when the Constitution was suspended and Habeas Corpus
was annulled ? Where were they ? They were howling about
gay marriage, evolution, and unborn fetuses. Nothing. NOTHING about killing millions of people in Vietnam and
Iraq. And now we have a concentration kamp in Gaza where
people are being slowly exterminated and WHERE IS THE
    CHURCH ?
There are some Christians. Quakers, people like that but
I’m sorry these Fundamentalists have not been a force for
very much good. Quitting Meth but then taking off on a
Jihad for Jesus is not Christianity.

you know and i know … at least in my humble opinion, “religion” is what power and authority in a specific time and place makes of …. what the hell do you call the root of all religions being basically the same as far as i can tell. it has nothing actually to do with “religion”, it just is. anyway, you are right about “the church” but what do you expect from basically something to control the little people. i see your point. still, you cannot have the sort of people around here who basically still can live as usual in a cashless society as long as they can hunt deer and fish and drink beer, you cannot NOT give them some religion to try and make them do right. i see you people view events from the point of view in the emerald city. me, you couldn’t get me or most people i know near the place. i see i am too local.

Mr Open …. The problem is the upper elites
“give” them this religion which goes entirely
in the opposite direction which the religion
itself preaches. Thousands of verses in the
Bible condeming ill treatment of the poor and powerless, usury (high interest rates) and
and the sole pursuit of money vs what, maybe
2 or 3 verses condeming homos. And yet the
church concentrates on the gays and does little
or nothing about the terrible behavior of the
    rich.

BTW. The Emerald City has almost as many fundamentalists and rednecks as the rest of
the country. Theres just a tiny bit less that
accounts for the perceived differences. And yes
the weather is wicked here. Especially the
    summer.

gary. i agree with how you are seeing things. here is the problem i think around where i live and that is what do you do if you have done everything “right” your entire life….you have tried to be a good citizen, behave as best you can, believe in your betters and now what is happening? its like everything you believed in is falling apart for no good reason. everyone important and so educated you depended on and everything you trusted in is turning out to be either an out and out lie by crimials or criminally stupid people or most devastating to me is its starting to sink in that the rules and how things are run seem to be for the benefit not for the little people, fundamentalist or not, but for some sociopaths and narcissists megalamaniacs apparently. or even worse, is run for the benefit of some other foreign country entirely!

i had a long time policeman tell me just a few hours ago today that he has never seen it like this in our humble little corner of the world. he says he can feel the pressure building up. the three houses in a row on down my road are foreclosed on and for sale right now. my next door neighbors moved out last evening once it got dark! i was coming through a gate to my field to go home in the tractor i had been putting hay out and three pickup trucks went by with their refrigerator, stove and furniture piled high! what a christmas it must have been for these people! and they just built this house maybe 3 years ago.

anyway, i think it is in our betters interest entirely to see to it that the peasants are told they will go to hell if they don’t behave right that is pretty obvious. in the 1980’s it was just us little farmers and factory workers screwed in the bad times. if it turns out that people have lost everything they have and thoght they were going to get…i mean jesus christ what if you can’t even depend on your pension and retirement savings because who was supposed to be the smartest people in the entire country have lost all your money! your religion has been hijacked in suport of some political weasel, your kids can never pay the the government debt run up, your political parties are bought and paid for, your political leadership is influenced by foreign interests and now your federal reserve banks which hardly nobody knows yet are not at least part of the government we have to pay interest to every year….anyway, if ever there was an opportunity to change how things are, i suspect that time will be coming up shortly. what happens if war with iran starts up? man, this spring i am installing solar panels on my roof, putting in a manual hand pump for the water well in my lawn, and buying myself a generator…. and growing a big garden and somehow find someone who can butcher my own meat if it comes to that.

who the hell can you trust anymore. if nobody, that means it is going to be everyone for themselves….

    i’d bvetter get back outside.

  55. Gary

    Mr Openly

I’m sorry I cant beat up on a guy that grows or makes stuff
for a living. I grew up in Mass on the edge of a small town
where there were a lot of small dairy farms. And the people
in town worked for all the machine shops and mills. The outsourcing started in Mass first, and during a bad recession in
the 70’s I drove my prairie schooner out to the NW for a better paying job.
I was a bit of a radical in the 60’s, but in the drive for a career
and to settle down I forgot most of the stuff I once thought
about. It took a major downsizing in the mid 90’s that got
me thinking about things again. I just couldnt see the sense
in my company getting rid of about 80pct of the machining
work. So , like a kid, I kept asking why. Why did so many
people, including working people, think this was OK ?
Like a kid, I kept asking why. And here I am back to
the 60’s kinda. About 10 ys ago I had a lot of illusions stripped
away. I thought we’d have no more “vietnams” and here we
are in two wars again. I thought that no-one, after Watergate,
would try to seize power in the executive branch and here
    we are.
Maybe the only predictable thing in life is Irony

gary. you cannot imagine the tremendous shock i felt the first time i became aware of viet nam protesters in the 60’s. i felt simply shock that they could be so rude to the president and our leaders! i shit you not. how i was raised and where i came from, …. well, i can’t begin to explain how it felt to see and hear such taboos broken. my world reeled! questioning the rightness of our leaders! 40 years later, i actually thought i had reached a point where i didn’t believe in anyone or anything anymore and along comes apparenlty treasonous wrecking by the banksters. and apparently i have been believing in them too all along.

so adjustments were made. ever hear the song “hes an old hippy and he don’t know what to do…should he hang on to the old should he grab on to the new…etc.” by i think the bellamy brothers.

god. in 1965 i was a brand new freshman at the university of iowa first time away from home. somehow i was placed in a senior level class of political science named “dialectic materialism” which is the “science” of marxism….i think or just communism. and the university campus is a long walk accross the river between classes and i had ROTC the class before this class so i had to go to “dialectic materialism” in my ROTC uniform and right next to me sat steve smith who had just gained national notoriety by being the first in the nation to publically burn his draft card. and the teacher introduced himself as a marxist and told me i reminded him of himself when he first came off the farm. so there i was, only a few months from thinking saying the word “beer” was a sin…. sitting in a dialectic materialism class next to steve smith in an ill fitting ROTC uniform.
i think the entire experience motivated me to join the usmc and i eventually came out of there a horrible person who basically hunted down and beat the crap out of every high school hero in my class in high school. if an ex-jock was in a bar sooner or later we were outside. man. life is long and twisting.

  57. Gary

Openly…… I come from a Navy family. My father was somewhat
conservative but my mother was pretty independent and
“liberal” in the old sense of that word. So when ‘Nam happened
I heard quite a few people somewhat agreeing with some
of the protesters. Mostly though, I was just a crazy rebellious
kid (kids always start changes anyhow as they dont have much
to lose and passions are higher) and from life events (like
parochial school) developed a healthy distrust of authorities.
They’re always trying to re-write the history of the 60’s.
Drugs, dirty hippies, blah blah. But that part of the 60’s was
only a tiny part. The real part that scared the leaders was
the fact we werent willingly marching off to die for them.
People started by questioning the war but then got into
other things. But I never trusted the commies though, either. They always
sounded phony. Since about being 20ys old, I always believed
that both capitalism and communism were frauds full of
pious talking people–kinda like the church I went to as a kid. The middle always seemed the best
way. Socialism for some things and capitalism for other things.
Anyhow, my cousin Roy joined the USMC. He had a similar
experience like you when he got out. Divorce, booze. But he finally put his life back together and re-married. New wife
new baby girl. He died in his sleep at 49. At first I thought
that even though he died young, he at least died in his
sleep without pain. Later though, his wife told me he had
terrible dreams at night. Put 2 and 2 together, PTSD probably
killed him while he was sleeping. That also partially re-radicalized me along with my shop getting decimated by offloading the work overseas. Anyhow, I have a cousin
in Sioux City Iowa way up in the NW corner of the state.
He’s told me a bit about happenings in Iowa. Things
about IBP and ADM and all those other monkeys.

    Devaul:

You hate Caesar’s effigy made by some academics, since you’ve read no Caesar and, thus, know nothing of Caesar.

You’d like to kill a man or a people, if the Media portrayed them as monsters. Would you also kill, say, Mexican immigrants, if the Media portrayed them as drug dealers and gangsters? How about Communists? Would you drop napalm on a defenseless Vietnamese village, if the Media portrayed the villagers as Communists who intended to destroy the “American way of life”?

Caesar mastery of Latin reflected his understanding of human motives and perceptions. Caesar’s Rubicon crossing broke the law, but Pompeius at that time intimidated Caesar’s senator friends. Both Caesar and Pompeius used force in ways that dissolved the Republic.

Why do you “hate” Caesar? Who else could you be made to hate?

  59. DeVaul

    Cognitis,
    :
You need to take a long, long look in the mirror for posting a shitload of lies and crap like that about a person of whom you know NOTHING other than that he “hates ceasar”.
    :
Ceasar annihilated entire Celtic communities, including murdering women and children so that they could not produce more warriors that would resist his tyranny. A clever idea, I guess.
    :
He razed entire forests to lay siege to cities that refused to submit to his own personal rule.
    :
When Celtic heros surrendered honorably in order to save the lives of their fellow countrymen, ceasar had them hauled off to Rome where they were publicly murdered many years later for the amusement of Roman mobs (er… I mean citizens).
    :
According to you, ceasar “mastered” Latin (his mother tongue — congrats!) and butchered countless “subhuman barbarians” who refused to speak or “master” Latin. A good thing, according to you. You really miss Latin, don’t you?
    :
He systematically killed off Celtic priests because they encouraged the people to rise up and resist his awful tyranny. He was brilliant (by your standards).
    :
He committed all of these horrible crimes against non-Roman, non-Latin subhumans so that he could increase his popularity in a far off city filled with scheming crooks and wannbe tyrants. (That’s called “history”, Cognitis).
    :
In your mind, all that matters is what happened in Rome — the Rubicon, Pompus, the Senate, etc. As for everyone else, they deserved to die for not being Roman, right Cognitis?
    :
I guess we cannot say: “I hate Hitler” or “I hate Stalin” or “I hate Bush” because we might be guilty of hating some other vicious war criminal who you think is a hero.
    :
I never said I wanted to commit any of the numerous crimes you mentioned above. It is easy to be a character assassin — no degree required, but not so easy to be the target of one.
    :
Perhaps your anger over me hating one person who committed so many awful crimes against humanity stems from your own failure to achieve the “status” and “power” of ceasar.
    :
Don’t worry. As a liar and character assassin, you are well on your way to becoming your own…”Hail Ceasar!”

  60. you know at another forum when I “spoke up” vociferiously about what seemed to me to be hostile actions towards the amazing country of Iran – otherwise knows as Persia.

I spoke up. I got banned.

I’m slowing down my tempo to avoid the typos in the future. Wait and see.

    DeVaul – you can post!

  62. Just thought I’d take this brief opportunity to state that.

You know awhile ago I think I said the whole internet might go down, but now I’m pretty sure I was wrong about that speculation.

Its called speculation for a reason.

If it helps with discussion, then I’m all for it.

If speculation takes on a life of its own, then it needs to be stifled for the benefit of clearer minds who understand emotion (or at least think they do).

Don’t you think? Don’t you think we all are emotional? I do.

    Just an opinion.

  63. I also think it would make no sense for anyone or any country or any entity to attack the sovereign country of Iran or any country for that matter. Its mostly the innocent who die until Karma comes to start a fresh start. Don’t you think?

And we should all know, unprovoked attacks (this is evident), have unexpected consequences. Best avoided be my counsil. Make that council. Make of it what you will. Just an internet opinion. Free.

I’m tired of all the war-talk. Sick of it. Blah.

    What a waste.

  65. OK, so I hope you all will humor me with this post. I wanted to find one of our mathamatical threads (there were many excellent ones although some of them were with Elaine’s previous internet host), but I don’t have time for much searching (I have to go to work).

Anyhow, consider this a mathamatical post. Ready.

    1. Take a cube. Better yet take a large wooden 6-sided die.
    2. Roll it real hard so that it breaks up into two pieces.
    3. Glue to two pieces back together, but not back the same way it was before it broke.
    4. How many possible shapes can be made and what will they look like?
    5. Extra credit: How many faces of the cube will remain visible? Is this number a constant or not? (Note: the answer to this really depends on how the two pieces are reconnected, so state that up front).

I’ve done this already and I could take a picture to prove it, but hopefully you can already imagine this in your head. If you can’t, then try it for real.

If we all start better understanding shapes (can anyone say GEOMETRY), then we might start better understanding numbers, and then we might start learning how to be better communicators (language).

If we can’t become better communicators, then I suspect OUR fate is already sealed. Furthermore, if we can’t identify and rid ourselves of the few psycopaths causing so much harm of innocence, then we will simply get what we deserve indiscriminately – as will the psycopaths of course. This will be brutal and I hope can be avoided, and that is the purpose of this mathamatical post.

I’ll post the picture of the broken cube glued back together later, but I’ll add this: I so prefer the 3-dimensional 5-sided star of bounty to the 6-pointed star of David.

Thank-you for humoring me and I hope everybody (excepting the psycopaths who cause so much conscious harm of course) has a splendid Wednesday!

    Peace,
    Ken

  66. correction: “3-dimensional 5-POINTED star of bounty”….or you could say “prosperity”…

  67. OK, this is a little bit (you know “give a little bit”) goofy, but it is harmless. I’ve been thinking a tad more regarding my “cube” post above, and I feel I must elaborate (because there are so many ways to break a cube). So anyhow, for the cube I broke, here goes:

    1. I am presently holding the big-ole wooden former six-sided die (it was a cube) I broke in my hand.
    2. When it broke, two equal pieces were left with three numbers on each. The dimensions of each piece were 1 by 1 (with “1” being the length of the orginal cube’s side). I glued the pieces back together.
    3. The dimensions of the glued-back-together piece is now “2 by 1 by 1”.
    4. The remaining visible numbers from the original large 6-sided die, are: “5”, “2”, “4”, and “6”.
    5. The “5” and the “2” are adjacent and on the “2” dimension as indicated above in #3.

OK, with that information without any difficulty you ought be able to reconstruct what I am looking at to an extent.

To be even more specific, each original side is (and was) about 4 square inches (2 x 2) with tapered wood on the edges. The middle portion of each side (not the tapered edges) is about 1/4 inch thick.

OK, with that information you probably could just about recreate what I am looking at, although there are a few things you do not know such as:

    1. The stain color of the wooden sides.
    2. The size of the dots associated with each number.
    3. The color of the dots.
    4. Need I go on?

OK, you will NEVER exactly recreate that which I am looking at and holding in my hand, and that just proves to me that none of us are alone and that you can’t go back in time and nor can you go forward.

    Time is of the essence.

What you gonna do? I got my plan…..

    -Ken
