Readers keep sending or posting links that supposedly are refuting my pretty good research here. I don’t mind this except the vaccination debate has really, really, really pissed me off. This is because there seems to be an endless stream of unscientific, outright lying misinformation spewed into the internet, all pushed by this gang of lunatics who want to convince gullible people that vaccinations don’t work or are an evil plot to kill us. At first, I thought, this was a small problem but it seems to be a very big problem.
.
For example, the ‘Global Research’ people have allowed a fear mongering story to be published on their web page that is nearly 100% lies, obfuscation or poorly sourced. How embarrassing is this??? Have they no editors? I would have tossed this story out in a minute due to the lack of links, just for example. And the major link in this fake anti-vaccination story is a quack website! Geeze. On the other hand, if readers here are committed to believing obvious lies about vaccinations, well! ARGH.
.
I feel sorry. Do try reading further and read CAREFULLY and in addition, use GOOGLE to find information. I don’t have all day to refute all the lies of these anti-vaccination fanatics. If I find that every statement they make in the first 10 paragraphs are lies, I assume all the stuff is nothing but lies:
.

Historical facts about the dangers (and failures) of vaccines
Many website have cropped up over the last few years to counter the pro-vaccine propaganda put out by drug companies (who profit from vaccines) and health regulators (who serve the drug companies). One of those sites is www.VaccinationDebate.com , which lists the following historical facts about vaccines:
.
• In the USA in 1960, two virologists discovered that both polio vaccines were contaminated with the SV 40 virus which causes cancer in animals as well as changes in human cell tissue cultures. Millions of children had been injected with these vaccines. (Med Jnl of Australia 17/3/1973 p555).
The goof ball writing this ‘article’ doesn’t give any links. The main link is to a quack website that is anti-vaccination. It has an agenda which seems mostly to make it look as if they are citing mainstream articles when they are not doing this at all. Not only that, one has to have more than one citation if one wants to make a dramatic point that runs totally counter to all scientific facts as we know these today.
.
• In 1871-2, England, with 98% of the population aged between 2 and 50 vaccinated against smallpox, it experienced its worst ever smallpox outbreak with 45,000 deaths. During the same period in Germany, with a vaccination rate of 96%, there were over 125,000 deaths from smallpox. (http://www.soilandhealth.org/02/020…)
The Hadwen Documents
.
It took me exactly one minute to find some real information: Edward Jenner and the history of smallpox and vaccination:
.
Late in the 19th century, it was realized that vaccination did not confer lifelong immunity and that subsequent revaccination was necessary. The mortality from smallpox had declined, but the epidemics showed that the disease was still not under control. In the 1950s a number of control measures were implemented, and smallpox was eradicated in many areas in Europe and North America. The process of worldwide eradication of smallpox was set in motion when the World Health Assembly received a report in 1958 of the catastrophic consequences of smallpox in 63 countries (Figure (Figure55). In 1967, a global campaign was begun under the guardianship of the World Health Organization and finally succeeded in the eradication of smallpox in 1977. On May 8, 1980, the World Health Assembly announced that the world was free of smallpox and recommended that all countries cease vaccination: “The world and all its people have won freedom from smallpox, which was the most devastating disease sweeping in epidemic form through many countries since earliest times, leaving death, blindness and disfigurement in its wake” (22).
ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ
In other words, early in the history of vaccinations, it was discovered….the hard way…that repeat vaccinations were necessary! They figured this out via keeping statistics and tracking small pox infections! Imagine that! So, the author of this stupid, fake article in Global Research didn’t bother to check his facts, AS USUAL FOR HIM. He is a slacker.
.
• In Germany, compulsory mass vaccination against diphtheria commenced in 1940 and by 1945 diphtheria cases were up from 40,000 to 250,000. (Don’t Get Stuck, Hannah Allen)
Good gods! Diphtheria raged through the concentration camps of Germany! The dates here are very significant: during WWII. Now, did the Nazis run good inoculation programs in the middle of WWII? Of course not. Note how this author doesn’t mention obvious facts. Instead, the need to spook gullible, trusting people is exploited.
.
Seriously: if we take this clown seriously, we should run around shrieking with fear… except he is a lying bastard. I want him arrested for fraud.
.
• In 1967, Ghana was declared measles free by the World Health Organisation after 96% of its population was vaccinated. In 1972, Ghana experienced one of its worst measles outbreaks with its highest ever mortality rate. (Dr H Albonico, MMR Vaccine Campaign in Switzerland, March 1990)
.
Well, DUH! 6% of the population still was unvaccinated and they had…and outbreak! I don’t even have to look this up to see that this is the case. God help us, I won’t bother with the rest of this article, this Mike Adams guy is a brainless idiot or a malicious liar or both.
.
I hope people read these other websites that take the time to rebut the army of lunatics who lie about vaccinations. If you disagree with me and other people like myself who use this thing called ‘science’, fine. Live in a fantasy world where vaccinations are evil. I seriously can’t help people who insist on doing this. But do try to read this stuff. After all, if the anti-vaccination lunatics can make up stuff, lie or dissemble, we can mock them for being liars and cheats. This is life and death. Follow the fools or learn from science: this is the choice.
.
Health Quacks: Vaccination Debate.
On one side we have a wealth of scientific evidence, the health authorities of entire nations, the World Health Organisation, thousands, if not millions, of scientists doing research, etc.
.
On the other side we have: Ian Sinclair. An author on quackery, with no medical qualifications, opinions backed up by anecdotes, and a member of the ill-informed anti-vaccination crowd.
.
It makes the Franklin quote look a bit silly. For a real debate, it helps to have two sides with equal numbers that both have arguments that carry a lot of weight.
.
Let’s have a look at this credophile’s views: Graphical evidence shows vaccines didn’t save us. (http://www.vaccinationdebate.com/web1.html)
.
Note that he looked at that quack website to see if they had good research. He discovered (as I learned) that they like to fake things.
.
It’s the same old stupid argument that no one actually disputes. Death rates from diseases reduced as socioeconomic conditions improved in developed countries. Better housing, clean water, the advancement of medical care all attributed to the reduction in death rates from diseases.
.
From the site:
It didn’t reduce the actual prevalence of these diseases however; vaccination did that.
Below are two stories from yet another website that also works hard to debunk the garbage pouring out of the anti-vaccination/anti-modern medicine websites:
Illumination: Anti-Vaccination Lies VI- “Vaccines Don’t Work”
Look at the link on vaccinetruth.org. Look at this argument at vaccinedebate.com, where it says in clear print that childhood disease is not caused by germs. Look at the YouTube video here. Check out Jock Doubleday’s website.
.Kevin is correct here: the lying bastards running the bogus ‘vaccinedebate.com’ website are crazy. Anyone who believes that diseases like polio or smallpox are not caused by germs is either insane or evil or both. These sorts of people are a menace to society. Think carefully: if you are scared of ‘elites’ killing you, you better be scared even more of lying lunatics also out to kill you! Like drunk drivers, for example.
.
The guys running the vaccinedebate.com website are like drunk drivers. Avoid them! They are deadly.
.
They tell you flat out that “Vaccines don’t work”.
.I could cite outbreaks of preventable disease in unvaccinated populations. We could talk about disease incidence and its decrease with the advent of vaccine. But the anti-vaxers quickly point out that these are just correlations- you don’t have experimental cause-effect evidence. It is funny that they now are asking for evidence when all of their claims are based on anecdotes.
.It might be rather unethical to treat a set of kids, treat another set with placebo and expose them to a pathogen, so the really sweet controlled test might be problematic. However, you don’t have to go more than the last two years in the literature to see how this works swimmingly with other higher mammals in veterinary medicine.
.The Nazis were insane. They did exactly this! They conducted hideous medical experiments on humans, human children, and the Nazis had all sorts of strange beliefs like the people who pretend vaccines are evil. The Nazis were big on standing reality on its head.
.
The first one I found (literally, the top hit in PubMed, no digging, there are probably better examples) is the effectiveness of the equine vaccination for botulism. Horses get botulism from eating tainted forage. The disease is awful- humans and other mammals get it, and it leads to paralysis.
..
In a report in the journal Vaccine Zheng and colleagues use a disarmed virus to deliver a part of a botulism bacterium’s protein (botulinum neurotoxin type C; BoNT/C)into the horse’s cells. The viruses were injected under the skin and serum antibody levels to the engineered BoNT/C protein increased rapidly in response. The increase was dose-dependent, indicating that the antibody production was in response to the injection.
..
And guess what anti-vaxers? Contrary to your poisonous rhetoric, the vaccine works! Horses, vaccinated and non-vaccinated were then challenged with Clostridium botulinum, the bacterium that causes the disease, and the immunized horses showed no symptoms whereas the control group showed symptoms.
..
There is a rich literature in the use of botulinum vaccines in equine subjects. I just stumbled upon it as the first one in the list at PubMed, so I’m sure there are better examples. Nonetheless, these data and the reports that follow (here are a few- this one, this one, this one in mice(placebo group died, 100%), this one in humans) all support that yes, vaccines work!
..
So when someone tells you that there is no proof of vaccination working you know that they are lying to you. There is ample evidence, tons of evidence, wonderfully-controlled and verified independently evidence. Use that to gauge their proclamations of telling you the “truth”.
.
.
Illumination: Anti-Vaccination “Supporting Literature” #2
Today we’ll talk about the first paper, a freshly accepted paper to theJournal of Toxicology. As you recall, this is a journal with no impact factor, meaning that the work is likely communicated by referees hand picked by the authors. Referees that support their claims and are not necessarily evaluating the science with due rigor.
..
The paper. The Severity of Autism Is Associated With Toxic Metal Body Burden and Red Blood Cell Glutathione Levels by Adams et al.. Sounds spooky, doesn’t it? You can download it here. This paper is so fresh that it is still in the manuscript form- that’s why it is not formally typeset.
..
Before starting, let’s consider this piece of work within the framework of the anti-vax standpoint. The title alone says that toxic metals in subjects are associated with autism. Going in, this has got to be mercury. This is THE culprit if you read their websites, coming in via thimerisol that has been removed from all childhood vaccines, but they contend is still there. There is a trace of thimerisol in some flu vaccines only.
.So if we believe the anti-vaxers this paper should show a substantially higher amount of mercury in the severely autistic subjects. That would be an interpretation consistent with the proposed anti-vax position of mercury causes autism.
.
First the methods. The paper uses dimercapotsuccinic acid (DMSA), a compound that binds divalent (+2 charged) ions. The bound compound is excreted in urine and the metallic component can be measured. Of course, if dimercaptosuccinic acid was in a vaccine in exceedingly trace amounts you’d be reading about how dangerous it is and that there is “acid in vaccines”. They did a baseline measurement and another measurement after 9 days of DMSA treatment.
.
Table 2 tells us that DMSA can bring out metals, but mercury is not significantly removed in the treatment. In other words, the test is not a reliable way to measure mercury levels.
.Table 4 compares the metal levels with the severity of autism. The table shows that all levels have high antimony as a baseline across all levels of autism severity. Lead levels were high in one. After using DMSA for 9 days the levels of lead, tungsten, antimony, cadmium, and thallium were higher in some cases. Of course, significance was measured at p<0.5, meaning that there is a 1/20 chance of anything being significant due to chance alone. There are about 80 variables in this table, so 4 would be anticipated to be wrong due to chance. That’s pretty high.
.Note- autistic subjects do not show significantly higher amounts of mercury or aluminum, the two metals described as causes of autism by anti-vaxers.
.The next tables are regression analyses, in other words comparing the severity of the disorder to the presence of various compounds before and after chelation. In short, these results massage the dataset to generate positive associations and don’t do so with astounding statistical rigor (I should say that the tungsten result in Table 6 might be convincing).
.It is also important to note that there is not a correlation between the amount of metals and the severity of autism. A dose-response test fails and does not support causality. I personally like page 9 where their agenda shows. The next to last paragraph says:This paper has focused on the possible relationship between toxic metals and the severity of autism.
.
Then the next paragraph says: (The original study) was not primarily designed for investigating the relationship of the severity of autism to toxic metals.
.
So this was not a study to test for the metal-autism connection. This was not a hypothesis to test, it was something they massaged from the data after the fact. That is why it is published where it is.
.
People who want to blame vaccinations for the unfortunate condition of their children seek out these sorts of ‘studies’ and use this as justification for being angry at common medical practice. Autism can be caused by poisoning in the environment.
.
India’s generation of children crippled by uranium waste | World news | The Observer
Health workers in the Punjabi cities of Bathinda and Faridkot knew something was terribly wrong when they saw a sharp increase in the number of birth defects, physical and mental abnormalities, and cancers. They suspected that children were being slowly poisoned.
.
But it was only when a visiting scientist arranged for tests to be carried out at a German laboratory that the true nature of their plight became clear. The results were unequivocal. The children had massive levels of uranium in their bodies, in one case more than 60 times the maximum safe limit.
.
The results were both momentous and mysterious. Uranium occurs naturally throughout the world, but is normally only present in low background levels which pose no threat to human health. There was no obvious source in the Punjab that could account for such high levels of contamination.
.
And if a few hundred children – spread over a large area – were contaminated, how many thousands more might also be affected? Those are questions the Indian authorities appear determined not to answer. Staff at the clinics say they were visited and threatened with closure if they spoke out. The South African scientist whose curiosity exposed the scandal says she has been warned by the authorities that she may not be allowed back into the country.
.
But an Observer investigation has now uncovered disturbing evidence to suggest a link between the contamination and the region’s coal-fired power stations. It is already known that the fine fly ash produced when coal is burned contains concentrated levels of uranium and a new report published by Russia’s leading nuclear research institution warns of an increased radiation hazard to people living near coal-fired thermal power stations.
.
Yes, industrial/energy pollution can cause not only birth defects but things like autism! And this is another reason to clean up the environment. As I have pointed out in the past, mercury poisoning from eating things like fishes are far more dangerous than vaccinations that MIGHT (but most don’t) have miniscule amounts of mercury. This should motivate us to do sane things in the real world to protect our beloved children. Leaving them prey to hideous viruses is NOT protecting our children at all. It is endangering them.

I’m done with your blog…your writings have become more and more ridiculous with each time passing.
You obviously didn’t read this article, did you? Geeze. Talk about stupid.
By the way, if anyone here thinks I and a host of other sane people are dumb because we use real information that is from the real world, guess what? DUH. If you want to read only lies, there are PLENTY of goofy websites filled with endless lies, all over the web. I really, really am angry about this vaccination debate because the anti-vaccination side thinks it can lie about nearly everything and not be called on the carpet.
This is LIFE AND DEATH, everyone. If people insist on death, I can’t stop you all. After all, who am I? No one can stop people from doing the wrong thing if they insist.
I just ask for some scientific backing on claims. And the anti-vaccination side provides nearly nothing credible at all.
Goddayum, Jive Lady, have we gone crazy here?
What’s with all this vaccine pump and dump?
If swine flu vaccine is so great, where’s the evidence?
That we disagree on your scientastic ramblish is a great relief to someone who took majors in chemistry, biology, and mathematics.
‘For example, the ‘Global Research’ people have allowed a fear mongering story to be published on their web page that is nearly 100% lies, obfuscation or poorly sourced. How embarrassing is this??? Have they no editors?’
A rather high handed demand from someone who is not very very careful about using graphs from google to buttress her case.
‘ Anyone who believes that diseases like polio or smallpox are not caused by germs is either insane or evil or both.’
Actually, no. Anyone who believes that polio is not caused by the variola virus, or that poliomyelitis is not caused by poliovirus is either Dear Author, insane, or evil, or all three. While it may be well by you to play Dookianna Howser to allay your failings in a medical career, please stop putting out false information under the rubric of science. Germs are cellular organisms, just for example and you can google the rest of the difference for yourself. I am sure that after two weeks you will be in contention for the National Institute of Health research grant and your own lab at Johns Hopkins. Perhaps they will overlook your starring role as the secondary transmission vector for the Asian flue epidemic. After all you were being groovy and doing weird hand dances amongst other thing. So it’s ok. Although it would have been more ok to put the afflicted soldier into a segregation unit at SFG.
While you do not want the President to absolve the crimes of his predecessors, you find it ok to absolve the crimes of the ethnic cleansers who cleansed your land for you.
ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ
ELAINE: Your persistent poor reading abilities never cease to amaze me. I was quoting the stupid vaccine site quoted as primary source by the Global Research article. That is, they, themselves, claim that polio, etc are not caused by ‘germs’ (of any sort of description).
Good gods! HAHAHA. Um, down the rabbit hole we go. So, people really think there are no germs? Germs is a generic term. When writing about these diseases, I try to be fair and careful but people keep emailing me as well as commenting, often linking to goofy sites that need refuting.
IF NO ONE LIKES THIS, don’t read it! Duh!
Instead, it gets certain readers here enraged. This is because I am cutting across some very powerful lines: the anti-vaccination people infest the anti-government sites and try to bully people into joining various bizarre crusades.
I am not part of this grouping. Thank god. I think Global Research should be ashamed to allow this without proper supervision. If anyone thinks the article I mention here is good, well…wow. Wonders never cease.
Indeed, we don’t know if this particular swine flu will turn very toxic this fall. We hope not!
But the flood of misinformation is very toxic and it is building up, online. And represents a grave danger in the future. Of course, some people think, they are performing a great public service by telling people that vaccinations are bad!
But you have to have real proof, not lies! And this is what angers me. The lies are legion. As well as often, quite obviously stupid.
Love the first response! I pray to god that this article will get rid of some of the anti-vaccine commenters here and return some sane peace and quiet to the blog.
You are free to not take the vaccine if you think it’s bad, no one will chase after you with a syringe. If the government wants to kill you, they can just nuke you instead of using a vaccine. Nukes or vaccines killing millions will cause the same uproar, but nukes cost much less.

I pray to god
when and why. lol
Elaine,
Benefits of eating fish exceed risks.
I remember this mercury debate from my country and then it just stopped totally. Now people are just encouraged to eat more fish, even if you´re pregnant etc.
Mercury in fish is the same sort of fearmongering as everything else.
You should eat fish moderately (2-3 times a week) and eat mostly fish thats low on mercury (avoid top predator fish, mercury accumulates).
You´ll be healthier and live longer. Tastes good too and you feel better after the meal :).
So often we don´t see the forest from all the trees with these things.

Haha, you can lead a person to water but you cant force them to drink.
I often wonder how/why homo sapiens have come so far yet paradoxically have so far to go…….
disease has to spread before disease starts to spread… imagine that we havent seen the worst, hell we havent seen the beginning for the most part as far as the super flu is concerned
.
.
a chicken in every pot ‘david peel’
“Haha, you can lead a person to water but you cant force them to drink. ”
Sure you can, just threaten to take their children away if the parents don’t do whatever you want.
This is my favourite quack site on the whole internet:
http://www.duckrecipes.org/
Don’t trust big pharma ? Concerned that there may not be enough vaccine to go round ?
No worries . Make your own vaccine – according to this vid it’s easier than brewing your own beer ! lol
http://wideeyecinema.com/?p=71
hahahaha! i love this site!
but i do think there may be merit in the observation that it is in big pharmaceutical companies financial interests to claim a pill or a shot is the solution to whatever ails you. and most of what ails people is because of the mental clusterfuck they are inside themselves trying to believe the collective conscious denying the reality within….and this real world within will make its appearance in the outside world with all sorts of neurosis. hahahahhaah! and the world goes crazy in its science and reason. hahahahhaah!
personally, being a nature-boy living on the farm like i do, i know i am basically immune to much that would kill protected city others. why? because of constant exposure to stuff i get an immunity. but i shower whenever i come in every time though. be clean, just not all the time.
“…there seems to be an endless stream of unscientific, outright lying misinformation spewed into the internet…”
Seems to be??? What would it take to make you say there is an endless stream, etc.?
“Look at this argument at vaccinedebate.com, where it says in clear print that childhood disease is not caused by germs.”
That ‘vaccinedebate” site is pretty funny. They have a diagram, and everything. That sort of thing is what is known as “boxology”, meaning anyone can draw some squares, label them, and claim they’ve proved whatever bullshit they happen to be pushing.
All together now: anyone who disbelieves the germ theory of disease at this point in human history is a drooling idiot. Case closed. No further ‘debate’ is required.
And here we have yet another moron: “Hello, my name is Ian Sinclair and I live in a small country town on the east coast of Australia. We don’t have vaccines here because they’re harmful. We don’t shave or go to the barber either because that stuff is harmful too. We just live in a state of natural nature here on the east coast of ‘Stralia…”
“After all, if the anti-vaccination lunatics can make up stuff, lie or dissemble, we can mock them …”
Given that many people are beyond the reach of rational debate… ridicule is indeed the next best option.
If farming provided immunity from plagues and epidemics, um….why do nearly all flues originate on farms? Think VERY carefully about this.
Why is there this ‘swine flu’? And didn’t it start in the vicinity of a gigantic pig farm? Of course, the intersection between humans and all our domestic animals happens to be exactly where these things originate.
The ‘I am healthy ergo, I won’t get a plague’ belief system is totally negated by scientific facts. And if you believe pills are evil….well, how do you explain people who fall for every medical fairy tale that comes from nonscientists while at the same time, these same gullible people are skeptics?
The idea that ‘pills are evil’ is childish thinking. Pills, like cars or shoes or food or anything, can be ABUSED. All things have down sides. To avoid the bad stuff, we show RESTRAINT and do not ‘pop pills’ or any other foolish action.
People don’t like being restrained. We tend to want to go to infinity. So when doctors recommend something, if people like this something, they tend to want more. Such as pain pills, as one glaring example.
Pain pills have down sides. All of them affect other systems and therefore, are dangerous in the long run. But to endure pain and function is hard so we grant people the CHOICE of using pain killers (I prefer pain, for example, so I don’t like pain killers that much).
When it comes to immunization, on the other hand, we have to have a high population immunization rate because NO immunization grants TOTAL protection. The best thing to do is to eradicate dangerous viral and bacterial mutations which are trying to spread in larger populations.
About the human pollution poisons collecting in fish species: the various poisons that accumulate in tissues via predators eating other animals is a danger to our health. The fishes we love to eat the most are usually high up the food chain so the poisons in the environment get concentrated in them.
That is, our favorite fish (such as sharks and tuna) are predators, not grazers. It would be as if we didn’t eat cows, sheep or pigs but rather, dogs, wolves and tigers.
To make fish eating safe, we have to clean up the environment. This means, using GOVERNMENTS to CONTROL things! Draconian controls!
And we go back to the debate about governments: many people want anarchy whereby we live a ‘survival of the fittest’. The entity that survives best in such a culture happens to be….epidemic germs.
wots this? elaine: ” The ‘I am healthy ergo, I won’t get a plague’ belief system is totally negated by scientific facts. And if you believe pills are evil….”
==============================
me reply…. well i was thinking more along the line that i think the further removed from nature people get, the more allergic to nature, so to speak, they, and especially their kiids, they seem to be. like literally allergies. the cure for allergies is simple…i.e.sleep with a cat and be on the little kid swim team to clear the pollens from your lungs. or to develop some immunity to tetanus, be scratched often by rusty nails and rough edges and then have aminal shit and snot rubbed into the cuts. heh. cause if you aren’t constantly exposed to pollens and shit, when you are, you are really going to suffer. the downside to living in the country i am sure is i would not be as resistent….immune, to rudeness or complete ignorance for example as i owuld be living in cities and exposed to all the wonderful “diversity” of your collective hive.
about pills being evil? i never said that. i did say there is a tremendous financial and political incentive for all concerned to convince the people for example that paying for pills because we are depressed and alienated from our society and ourselves is just whats needed. when the opposite is true. do you want to argue with my claim that most of what ails people is the clusterfucks that are their one sided minds now? didn’t think so.
how fucked up are we becoming? gads. i am amazed looking at “whats hot” now. if plastic tits and great big lips is hot to the conditioned younger generations now, i am glad i am old. i think there must be something really fucked up with people who want to have plastic tits to look at and hold. gads.
i bet when the neanderthals disappeared, the world lost what today would be regarded as a gift… i.e. you know speech came at a cost. hahahah! i bet something that was there was lost.
where was i? ignore the last paragraph. i have no idea where it came from. but i bet its true too!
ohyes. the plagues? i bet the cities is exactly where you don’t want to be in a plague. now i am in agreement that i suspect having a million pigs in one industrial hog operation simply has to be a major disease outbreak waiting to happen as compared to having a million pigs seperated out over one or two thousand different little hog farms. same as the scheme i was reading about raising fish in the gulf…i.e fish farmers claim if they were allowed to i guess put fish cages all along the gulf coast, they could raise more fish there than is supplied by all the worlds oceans. i don’t know if this is true or not, but i bet it is morally wrong and i bet the fishies would need to be raised in just about a complete and constant antibiotic environment which has to be “bad”.
in other words, i have not as much respect or awe for our accumulating “scientific” progress and powers of reason as you seem to ahve elaine.
-fucking A! you know when human speech came it had huge benefits, but came at a tremendous cost. look at what was lost. look at how alienated you yourself are to symbolic language for instance….or “magic”. ha! i bet as you people become more and more “advanced”, you all lose more and more too.
i suspect this is true about “magic” too. i bet magic has to be “done” at the unconscious level. and i bet that helping ancient and swamp people get to the unconscious was what “holy” places and rituals was really all about. and greek myths you know they didn’t really believe there was a flying horse named pegasus….and you know i bet astrology was used to connect to the unconscious within and the greater without. gads. here is a thread i can follow as i work outside. gads this is true don’t ya know! and more.
i have to write this before i lose it. there has to be some similarity between what is happening to people and what they did to pigs. i.e. when industrial confinement hog operations first came into existence, they had to literally re-invent the hog. why? the pig used to actually be a noble creature somewhat in its pig nature. and when “progress” forced the modern pig into tiny cement confinement cages literally shoulder to shoulder with other hogs trapped in the same cement small places shitting over cement slats instead of doing what it was a pig did naturally for all the pig species previous existence, well the pigs simply went crazy insane. and somehow, the “scientific” pig breeders bred the real pig out of the new and improved modern pig that now is presumably comfortable living in cement cages trapped like cage raised chickens. and this is what they are doing to people too. you watch, the “real” is being bred out of people so you all will be more convenient and profitable in hte future for our masters and owners to raise and use.
gads. i got to stop this shit!
Thinking about this a bit further… there’s a connection here between the antivaccination websites and something Elaine was posting about a few weeks ago.
Take that Ian Sinclair doofus from down under, for example. If it could be proven that someone didn’t vaccinate their child because they read (and believed!) his nonsense, and the child contracted a preventable illness and suffered harm as a result… can you spell “liability lawsuit”, kids? I knew you could! Under those circumstances, I don’t see why someone wouldn’t hire a legal team and just go after his ass.
I will think the internet has “grown up” when people can be held legally accountable for the adverse consequences of their little postings.
ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ
ELAINE: That lying bastard, Sinclair, has no ‘deep pockets’ so no one is going to sue him.
“To make fish eating safe, we have to clean up the environment. This means, using GOVERNMENTS to CONTROL things! Draconian controls!”
Anyone who cant see Elaine’s mindset, her total love of government control, her embrace of central planning, her new age spin on everything is blind. The government cannot become good. It was and is bad. No government has wealth of its own to spend. The money has to come from taxation, monetary inflation, or debt expansion. Elaines constant embrace of socialism and central planning. Exposes her economic writings as contradictory to her political beliefs. How can a National Socialist like Elaine expect to fund her projects and government control without heavy taxation, monetary inflation, or debt expansion? She can’t. So, Elaine stop whining about deficis and red ink. In order to implement the authoritarian control you desire you have to pay for it. Your a total conundrum!!!
Pray tell, dear Ralph, how you suggest we control pollution? Ignoring it? Allowing people to profit by dumping toxins into water? Tell me, I am all ears.
And O.H.: plagues sweep all sorts of populations in ‘nature’. Far from cities being the cause of plagues, most plagues form in the wild or on farms and then move into the cities.
For example, the Black Plague started in rodent holes in central Asia. And then was carried into the cities via animals used by nomads (think: it isn’t mere coincidence that the Black Plague was first in Mongol territory in Outer Mongolia and then carried via the Mongol hordes, to civilization).
Pollution is a matter of property rights, but you being a National Socialist would know nothing of such a thing. Elaine, go to http://www.mises.org read about property rights. I comment on your insanity. You have to learn about free markets and freedom.
Um, dear boy, do you realize that the places being polluted are interconnected? You pollute your own air, you also pollute MY air?
For example, pollution from southern states can move, via wind, northwards and pollute my own air far from the source. My only way to stop this pollution is to have a government prevent it.
Ditto with water. You are rather infantile about all this. As for ‘property rights’: all things we do that cause any pollution is shared by EVERYONE. It is NOT individual at all.
Anyone who thinks otherwise is thinking this way because they want to pollute as cheap as possible and not pay the price of their own messes.
Thus, it is childish. Whole countries want to pollute the entire planet with impunity, claiming sovereign rights. Well, we have PLANETARY RIGHTS. That is, the right for all of us to survive here and not be abused by polluters who are lazy or greedy.
Elaine,
Bottom line is you are a National Socialist and understand very little about economics if you advocate central planning and collectivism. How do you think the central planning and collectivism in American and China is funded? Ill give you a hint since you have no clue. Taxation, monetary inflation, and or debt expansion. You can’t complain about deficits and spending , and say “lock em all up in DC” when you advocate exactly what they are doing. Trying to spin the reality into “pollution” shows how intellectually naked your belief system is. You cannot believe in central planning and not embrace debt expansion, inflationism, and or central banking. So please get a clue. You are frightening all of your readers away and will soon have none left.
Pollution is a small problem compared to national bankruptcy. We have no economy anymore because of collectivist monopolistic policies. Freedom of competition made America great. The cartelization of our economy and the absence of competition has destroyed our economy. We need less government control and more freedom as in the case of China. Not more of the same which you support.
Um, pollution is far worse than bankruptcy. Pollution KILLS. It destroys whole systems we depend on for life, itself. Destroying the air, the water and the soil and poisoning all life forms is deadly, totally, utterly deadly.
‘Competition’ where there are no restrictions or controls leads to looting, decimation of the environment and poisoning of things we share.
People who do whatever they wish end up usually being quite destructive. Imagine playing baseball with no umpire, no rules and the kid who has the baseball bat can hit anyone he wants.
China’s ‘freedom’ has caused vast pollution problems and China struggles to deal with this. There are many riots and disorders concerning pollution. The victims of pollution want DEMOCRACY so they can stop this pollution in China. They do not want more ‘competition’ and ‘nonregulation’.
@ Elaine,
Please visit the following web site, and under Silver Uses, read the brief summaries for Medical Uses and Water purification.

Ralph: “Pollution is a matter of property rights…”
Correct, but…
Elaine: “You pollute your own air, you also pollute MY air? … My only way to stop this pollution is to have a government prevent it.”
See the interesting article by Rothbard at mises.org. In brief, Rothbard concludes that “Air pollution is a private nuisance generated from one person’s landed property onto another and is an invasion of the airspace appurtenant to land and, often, of the person of the landowner. … But where there is no easement and air pollution is evident to the senses, pollution is a tort per se because it interferes with the possession and use of another’s air.”
So not even the libertarians are prepared to say you can’t regulate pollution.
Now, returning to our theme of High Idiocy on the Net…
Here is a website run by the Flat Earthers.
And here is a website run by the geocentrists.
It matters not what ‘arguments’ or ‘evidence’ these groups muster in their favor; sufficient evidence exists to the contrary that we no longer need consider their side of the debate: the debate is ended and they lost.
And that is also where we wish we could dump the anti-vaccinators: we could completely ignore their bleatings, along with those of the flat-earthers and the geocentrists, except for the possibility that some credulous person may conceivably be convinced by that bullcrap and suffer adverse health consequences as a result.
(The flat-earthers and geocentrists can believe whatever they want because their particular delusions have no consequences one way or another.)
“Freedom of competition made America great.”
Under conditions of unfettered competition, the goal of every firm in an industry is monopoly. If I run a business, the last thing in the world I want is another business taking profit that could be mine, and (in absence of regulation to the contrary) I will do whatever it takes to run those competing businesses into the ground. Some firms are better competitors than others; these firms ‘win’, while the others ‘lose’. If you’re the dominant firm, that’s good. If you’re a customer, that’s not good.
The history of the railroads in the 19th century is instructive in this regard.
Vaccines work. It is known. I had three during my childhood (along with my entire school) and suffered no ill effects.
Now as for ‘swine flu’…ahhh. Who is a fellow to believe? In this age of disinformation all I can do is go on past experience…and past experience tells me these stupid scares ultimately come to nothing…at least here in Africa. Here you die of more mundane things like poverty, malnutrition, AIDS, bullet poisoning, and malaria…. not big bad flu strains.
One thing I find curious is the Chinese, Indians, and Russians are NOT panicking and announcing mass inoculations of a rushed vaccine. What the hell. Are they stupid? I think not, looking at their balance sheets…
It is impossible to vaccinate a billion Chinese with a vaccine created very quickly. Size does matter here.
Hmmm. I can see the logic there…but still, they aren’t panicking and flooding their media with scare stories. It is probably a genuine vaccine, Elaine, but I understand the paranoia since people simply can’t trust their governments anymore. The only way I’d accept it is to go to my private practitioner and get his opinion. Otherwise it would be a big negative from me.
For the record, I don’t think you’re crazy. You’ve helped me understand much about how international trade and politics work. And I still very much enjoy your site. Keep it up.
“That lying bastard, Sinclair, has no ‘deep pockets’ so no one is going to sue him.”
Which is not to say it isn’t a good idea!
‘Scare stories’ are the news. If people want no news, they can cease consuming news. When thousands of young people die of a new variant of a germ, this is ‘news’ and we normally want to know this news because we want to stay alive, I hope.
Deciding to CENSOR the news so people don’t know this information is evil. How people react to the news is their own affair. People like to panic, look at all the conspiracy websites: they exist only so they can scare people about this, that or another thing!
And people flock to these places, hoping to be thrilled and chilled! These places are POPULAR. I am not because I don’t panic.
I am not in a panic about a potential pandemic, I want a rational response to this pandemic possibility. Instead, I see people in denial or giving out totally false information.
The major media can’t ignore all the pandemic information. But how they present this is important. They have to be responsible. Like I am. :)
:). Okay. You’re not panicking. And I see your points and agree with all of them.
Sad to say I too fell under the spell of those quack sites for awhile. They were among the first i visited when the TARP bill was passed and I went searching for answers. But as time has gone on their..uhh..’news’ has gotten more and more outlandish, and I find myself clicking less and less on prisonplanet, thetruthseeker, and such.
I still check your blog everyday, though. You must be doing something right.
BOO!!
Thank you, Csurge. Obviously, many sites are right about one thing or another but not all things. I am not a new site. I usually have news come in after everyone else because I need to think about it and often spend hours, looking up relative information.
The most of this time is spent digging in summer with the backhoe while debating things in my own mind. That is, cogitating while working. When the hands are busy, the brain can run other systems. You can’t do this while doing work requiring thinking.
did nobody like my pig story? i was totally proud of it. gads! what about my astute observation that elaine and other modern sophisticates are now utterly alienated from what symbols and ritual and ceremonies magic were all about? double gads! i wept thinking about the neanderthals being replaced by “talkies”. m0re gads.
obviously i have not much on my mind today.
my 6 year old grandson is home and demanding more food. what do you suppose i ought to be telling him about what his future might be like? you know “the plan” is that his generation is to basically be wage competitive with the average kenyan or chinese or indian average wage 20 years from now. good day!
wow, elaine…i’m speechless, but will press on anyway.
First of all, the burden to prove effectiveness is upon you, the promoter. I start from the position that we have highly evolved immune systems which served well enough to get humans from the original starting point to over 6 billion. The vaccines didn’t come along until the last few decades. How do you account for the billions that thrived well without vaccines, even with the occasional cull-herder events which has value whether you choose to acknowledge it or not.
ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ
ELAINE: WOW. You launch immediately with lies! Good gods. Go look up the history of vaccinations before you toss out any more false accusations. Look, if you read all my stuff, you would have already learned that vaccinations began around 1800 which happens to be over 200 years ago. For someone yapping about people proving stuff, all you proved is, you are not very well read or understand simple history. A very bad start here, for you…eh?
ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ
Second, if vaccines were so effective, why is there a third world, why is it teeming with people living in the most deplorable conditions? If vaccines were necessary, these people wouldn’t exist.
ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ
ELAINE: What on earth? The third world ‘teems with people’ because of vaccinations. This prevented common epidemics. The second sentence makes no sense at all. These people had to have many babies for just one or two or hopefully, three to survive in the old days. Some epidemics wiped out 1/3rd to 1/2 of the populations such as the Black Death, just for one mighty example!
ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ
Finally, your sources are shit. You pick graphs which don’t really have believable source data. You acknowledge that the government and financial systems are fraudulent and utterly corrupt but accept all the data from whatever sources. You really think government source data is free of bias?? as you would say HAHAHA.
Do you not see any FINANCIAL INCENTIVE in this flu “event”? REALLY??? HAHAHA. DOn’t you know how large the pharma industry is? DO you believe they follow the mantra of “first do no harm”…or maybe it should read…”first make your numbers” HAHAHA
seriously, you are completely delueded on this topic, you have no grasp on reality and you decry and deride those who are sharp enough to think for themselves but don’t have “data” to convince you…even if that were possible.
and i say this with all due respect, as i think you are an otherwise fine and intelligent woman. however, you seem to be a shill for the pharma industry or possible were an alien abductee programmed to confound simpler minds. HAHAHA
ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ
ELAINE: A common debate platform for anti-science people to simply toss out all data, all information and all research. While being utterly gullible to the most bizarre stories cooked up by every Tom, Dick and Harry. This, of course, is illogical. If you refuse any data or information, your mind is a closed door. No one can open it but yourself.
what-chu-ma-call-it lol
When not remembering or knowing the name of and object or a human and nothing comes to mind
“Hey gimme that what-chu-ma-call-it”,” oh this pen”.
i am personally not interested in taking a DNA based flu vaccine. i am also just a little concerned with WHO’s decision to bump it up to a pandemic level so quickly.
You could sweetly ask WHO to wait until several million people die before deciding it is horrible.
I would boot you out of the office, if I was a WHO employee, by the way.
I have just re found this blog after having lost the bookmark of the old one, and i must say how disappointed i am, to read a torrent of accusations re: lunatics, lies, fanatics etc.. Not the language of the blog i use to read and such emotive retorts do not carry the debate which the authors states is found in scientific facts. Science isn’t the fact, it is the interpretation of a perceived reality and until the day when science can honestly state that there is nothing more to discover or explain then science is always open to question even by scientists.
Some of remembers the tragedy of thalidomide being given to pregnant women, and why should we not question scientists or pharmaceutical companies/corporations. Is this new world a totalitarian one run by scientists who dictate to us without debate ?
I wont be back to view any replies. Sorry.bye
ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ
ELAINE: HAHAHA. I would suggest you are lying, sir. This is probably due to you living with lies all the time. Since when on earth did I suggest we not have research? Gah! I just want scientific research, not the garbage peddled by the anti-vaccination cults.
PS: many drugs have side effects that are not often instantly showing up. They all have side effects, even aspirin. Not only that, eating and drinking stuff has side effects! Drinking beers while pregnant deforms babies! Just for example.
Alas poor William
He found you at 6:15
He left at 6:40
His disappointment was manifest
at torrents of retorts
and accusations of ill will and
lunacy too.
In memory
it was always sunlight
and roses
and soft words
and hemlock for dessert.
CK, I kicked over a rotting log and out comes all sorts of newts, frogs and termites. This is expected. I actually have this stupid desire to see what comes out when one does this.
People can live in alternate universes all they wish. This is common. We call this ‘culture’ and ‘religions’. I am interested in religions in various ways. Watching strangers come here and anonymously attack me and then run away and hide is actually very funny. They think they can scare me, and I have been commenting on the internet since it was used only by NASA and NSA employees.
Unless you are getting nasty emails from non-posters here, I don’t see anyone trying to scare you. I see some folks, myself included, who disagree with you on this or that or something else, and agree with you on somethings and not others.
I suppose I am guilty of anonymity since I only use my given initials to post, I have been using just these since 1994 working in WFW3.11 with its tcp/ip stack and BBS appearances.
I consider most religions a form of mental abberation and find them uninteresting ( except for Ouroboros of course and maybe Lilith walking out on Adam, and Cain and the kidlets in the land of Nod ) Ok so truth to be told, religion is the basis of all humour and torture so get your laugh on or get your pain on they both come from the same reptilian recess. It’s all fuel for the same fool.
CK: HAHAHA. Now that is being nice.
Seriously, every nasty thing was thrown at me. Including a host of really noxious and dumb websites. Which I wasted my time, looking at.
This was a ‘bully’ session but it failed due to me being ill tempered and able to use google and because I am not consumed with a wide range of wild conspiracy fear beliefs.
The conspiracy business thrives on people not being suspicious of the peddlers of conspiracy stories. Many of the ‘explanations’ about how the ‘elites’ operate are right wing lunatics who I knew as a child (I knew the John Birch Society very well in Arizona!)
The names change but the garb remains stubbornly the same. It is tedious and stupid because the belief system of the John Birchers is INFANTILE. It has no finesse at all.
Which is boring and stupid! But easy to attach to all events. ‘Rockefeller caused the virus outbreak!’ is an example, if you want.
Of course, you might yell, ‘I didn’t say that’ and I am not accusing YOU of saying this, I am explaining that anonymous people pop up this sort of tripe all the time.
Elaine, this guy Wayne Madsen is saying the people who developed the H1N1 vaccine refuse to take it and are telling their families not to take it. Care to comment?
Off topic, but a great vid to lighten up everyone’s mood. Could this be how the sleeping majority think?
@CC
The Tim Hawkins thing is funny, expecially when he takes his axe to the US military …
oh wait … he ignores the military completely.
Folks who cite Madsen get booted from the DailyKos. I have followed his reportage for a few years now until he decided that he had to make his into a pay site. He is rarely wrong, which is a bad thing.
@CK: Hawkins is good comic relief, eh! Always good to laugh no matter how dire circumstances may be, specially at oneself. :-) About Madsen, I concur, he is rarely if ever wrong in his reporting he seems to have good assets in high places. Have read his book Jaded Tasks where he took Jr. to task. Follow him pretty regularly, his military assessments are pretty spot on.
Wayne Madsen makes up stuff out of thin air. He often claims he has proof. I have spoken to him privately.
HE NEVER DELIVERS THE PROOF. Got that? NEVER. The more outlandish his accusations and news story, the more likely he simply drops it when nothing shows up. Anyone who believes him is…well, you know what you are.
This is interesting. In Australia the Federal Government’s plan to immunize the population against swine flu is in chaos because insurers may not cover doctors who administer the jab. Inadequate testing and the possibility of spreading other infections means there is too high a risk patients will sue, the insurers say.

As per usual money talks an bullshit walks. I am curious, will the US government insure the doctors who will manage and implement their H1N1 vaccine plan.
In the USA, vaccine makers cannot be sued for damages from faulty vaccines.
Doctors administering vaccines under state order will have immunity. Just following orders is a get out of responsibility card when you are on the winner’s team.
Three babies have died from whooping cough this year and close to 19,000 cases have been reported.
Doctors now fear figures could worsen if parents decide not to immunise their children.
Their warning has reignited a fierce debate – the Australian Vaccination Network says the inoculations are dangerous, but health professionals say that campaign is based on fear, not facts.
In February this year the McCaffery family became five. But Toni and David McCaffery could not have predicted the danger their baby faced.
When Dana McCaffery developed a runny nose her parents weren’t worried. But they didn’t know their child had been born in one of the worst whooping cough epidemics on record.
Still, no-one suspected she could have the deadly disease. It would take four trips to the local GP before whooping cough was finally diagnosed, and within days their baby was critically ill.
“It’s just pure torture. You see your precious, beautiful little baby, every portion of their body is in pain when they cough like that. Their eyes just get wider and wider, and they’re just pleading with you to make it stop,” Mrs McCaffery said.
Dana McCaffery didn’t have a chance. Her tiny body couldn’t withstand the pneumonia and aggressive bacterial toxins that set in.
“A priest came and baptised Dana. About five minutes later Dana went into cardiac arrest and the room was just full of people trying to save her,” Mr McCaffery said.
“She passed away and they gave her to us and we held her, and pulled all the wires and tubes out of her and nursed our little girl.”
Dana McCaffery is one of three babies who have died across the country this year from whooping cough. In the same week she passed away in Lismore Base Hospital, two other babies had to be airlifted to Brisbane for emergency treatment.
Paediatrician Dr Chris Ingall says each baby came close to death and he hopes it is something he will never see again.
“There are still four cases a day – four notifications a day still rolling through in this valley alone. So it hasn’t gone away. It’s protracted and we’re not winning,” he said.
Five months on, what haunts the McCafferys is that they didn’t know they were living in a region with one of the lowest vaccination rates in the country.
Since their daughter’s death they have discovered up to one in three children in their NSW north coast community are not vaccinated – three times less than the national average.
“I would never have ever considered asking someone if they’d vaccinated their child, it’s completely their business and I guess we’ve learnt the hard way that actually that choice does affect everybody around you,” Mr McCaffery said.
Dr Ingall treated Dana McCaffery in hospital and sees a clear link between the region’s low vaccination rate and her death.
“I mean, we’ve educated and educated … and educated, and it seems to have fallen on deaf ears. And part of me, in my mind was, well, Dana was an accident waiting to happen,” he said.
Debate
Doctors say mass immunisation has been the most effective public health strategy ever launched in Australia.
Polio epidemics once struck with fierce consequences. More than 1,000 died and tens of thousands more were paralysed.
But when a vaccination was introduced in the 1950s, the disease was all but eradicated.
The story is the same for many once-common children’s ailments like measles, mumps and meningitis.
But for some there is fear and suspicion of the push to vaccinate, and the internet has provided a global and pervasive forum for debate.
The stronghold of the anti-vaccination movement is based in the same neighbourhood as the McCafferys.
Australian Vaccination Network president Meryl Dorey says there are a range of toxins in vaccines and many of them have no place in the body.
She has travelled to Adelaide to warn parents of what she sees as the potential dangers from vaccinating.
“This is Robert and I think he was 12 when he was given the hepatitis B vaccine and within 24 hours he had that paralysis down his face,” Ms Dorey said.
The Australian Vaccination Network says that boy’s case is not isolated and the group’s website has documented death and disability that parents blame on vaccination.
“Everything from just the minimal reactions like swelling at the site and fever, high-pitched screaming is very common, shock collapse – which is floppy baby syndrome,” Ms Dorey said.
“There can be autism, ADD and ADHD, which are both very common right now, which were almost unheard of 20, 30 years ago. They have been related to vaccinations.”
She says while Dana McCaffery’s death was a tragedy, she rejects the theory that low vaccination rates played any part.
The mother of four has written about her own family’s experience with whooping cough, describing it as a storm in a teacup, which was treated with homoeopathy.
“Just because someone is a doctor doesn’t necessarily mean they’re an expert on every area of medicine, and unless they’ve actually done some independent research into vaccination they may not know more than the average parent who’s read a few articles and a book or two about vaccinations,” Ms Dorey said.
“I think most doctors really believe in vaccinations. They’ve been taught to believe in vaccinations and they haven’t done a whole lot of research on their own.”
According to UNICEF, immunisation averts more than 2 million deaths a year worldwide. But Dr Chris Ingall says the Australian Vaccination Network ignores this statistic.
“Their work is negative, destructive and has no scientific basis. I wish they weren’t here. Because this is the battle we have that in some sections of the community up here it’s almost fashionable not to vaccinate, as if it didn’t matter – and it does matter,” he said.
‘Difficult choice’
Infectious disease specialist Professor Peter McIntyre says the Australian Vaccination Network manipulates research and statistics to argue its case.
“It’s been a real characteristic of the anti-vaccine movement in Australia claiming to be looking very extensively at the scientific evidence,” he said.
“If you’re someone like me whose job it is to spend their time going through a lot of this evidence, then you realise that it really is a complete misinterpretation.”
Brisbane mother of three Kara Harding is struggling to make sense of the vaccination debate. She started vaccinating her first child but discontinued after questioning its safety.
“It’s a really difficult choice. I think there’s a lot of information out there – a lot of it conflicts with each other and I feel like I’ve made the best decision that I can at this point in time,” she said.
“It doesn’t mean I am not considering vaccinating in the future. When I do, I will do it with a lot of thought and consideration. It’s a real conundrum to choose which way to go.”
Doctors concede there can be side effects, but argue the health risk of not vaccinating is far more dangerous.
“Seeing a baby as the McCafferys did, die of whooping cough, is a terrible experience,” Professor McIntyre said.
“Seeing a child die of measles is also very sad, seeing a child die of tetanus, seeing a child have a bacterial meningitis – all these diseases are very, very nasty.
“So making people aware of how dangerous these diseases were before vaccines were around, I make no apologies for that.”
In an effort to protect the youngest and most vulnerable from catching whooping cough, Professor McIntyre is about to trial vaccinating newborns.
For parents and grandparents of newborns, authorities are now offering free booster shots to target those adults whose immunity would have waned since they were vaccinated as children.
For the McCafferys, they are left wondering why not one health professional warned them of the whooping cough epidemic.
You guys never really beleived in science. the Ruskis scared you with sputnik but apart from strategic missiles and weapons you never took it to heart…
they are all liberal evolutionists, I guess..
Anyway, all the hippies but me won’t vaccinate and now have to deal with consequences…
As they await the outcome of a NSW Health Department investigation into their daughter’s death, they hope lessons learnt will save others.
“People need a personal story to be able to associate with and they’ve got a personal story. They’ve got ours. And we’re just asking the Government to use it,” Tony McCaffery said.
I really like what you guys are usually up too. This
sort of clever work and reporting! Keep up the great works
guys I’ve incorporated you guys to my own blogroll.
