Saudi Women Gain Vote But Also Get Beaten For Driving Cars

One of the weirdest things in our diplomacy relations with the world is our relationship with Israel and Saudi Arabia.  Israel is a vicious racist state and Saudi Arabia is a vicious feminist hell-hole.  Both are totally contrary to our own civil rights laws and our supposed belief systems.  Yet both police states are our very best friends in the Middle East, bar none.  We dote on and arm both states and nary say a peep no matter how brutal, vicious or inhuman they are.

I often talk about how the Saudis are the most radical Muslim rightwingers on earth.  They are also, incidentally, the parties behind the 9/11 attacks.  Here is yet another article about the Atta gang’s activities in Florida prior to their hijacking the jets:  FBI found direct ties between 9/11 hijackers and Saudis living in Florida; Congress kept in dark | Broward Bulldog.  This is a big, big story but thanks to hyper-propaganda in the media to cover up the Saudi royal actions behind Atta’s operations plus the DARPA-driven ‘bombs in the building’ hype in the ‘skeptic’ (sic) community, this big story about how the FBI collected tons of evidence after the attacks, in Florida, tagging the royals with deep connections to Atta…all of this was thrown out by the 9/11 Commission in the form of censorship.

Namely, the report blacked out ALL of this information.  On top of this, Cheney and Bush were not questioned in public about their many close associations with the bin Laden clan and the Saudi royals nor were any of these people who were in the US on 9/11 questioned, they were the only people in the US to be allowed to fly anywhere that week.  The only planes flying in America were bearing the very same people connected directly or indirectly to Atta’s gang.  They were carefully hauled out and hidden away.

Some of them were subsequently killed in ‘accidents’ by the Saudi royals who then enjoyed huge, huge profits from much higher oil costs after the US began its many wars against rival Muslim oil pumping nations like Iraq and Libya.

But then along came the Arab Spring.  This so disported the Saudi royals, they offered $24 billion in new welfare and social spending hikes plus various reforms.  These reforms are meaningless as we can see in the news today.  Just one day after announcing, Saudi women can run for office (so long as they are heavily veiled!) when the surprise punishment of a woman driver hits the news:  Saudi woman sentenced to 10 lashes for driving car – The Times of India

A Saudi woman has been sentenced to be lashed 10 times with a whip for defying the kingdom’s prohibition on female drivers, the first time a legal punishment has been handed down for a violation of the longtime ban in the ultraconservative Muslim nation.

…Making Tuesday’s sentence all the more upsetting to activists is that it came just two days after King Abdullah promised to protect women’s rights and decreed that women would be allowed to participate in municipal elections in 2015. Abdullah also promised to appoint women to a currently all-male advisory body known as the Shura Council.

My parents once were stationed in Saudi Arabia.  My mother hated it.  She once was left stranded at someone’s home and my father couldn’t find her and she couldn’t go home herself, for example.  But when a European woman, the wife of an oil engineer, decided to cross the road from one European enclave to the US enclave and didn’t wear a veil or be with a man, she tried to run across the road and was deliberately run over by the noxious Chastity Police and killed.  So my mother, in a rage, left.

She also once appeared on Saudi TV (this is when King Faisal was still alive) and all they showed were her gloved hands moving, not even her veiled face!  The choice of beating this woman nearly to death for driving in public doesn’t surprise me: the vicious religious radicals are not the Muslim Brotherhood of Egypt, it is the Saudi royals.  Who are total, complete hypocrites since they are NOT chaste and pure at all but are pools of putrid corruption and greed.  They run riot all over the planet seeking food, drugs, drinks and sex.  But no one in their home base can do this at home.  They have to travel to be unchaste.

The US turns a blind eye to Saudi crimes and transgressions including showing happiness, they invaded Bahrain and cruelly and violently suppressed popular dissent.  After using up precious diplomatic capital to protect Israel from the prospect of Palestinians being declared a ‘people’ and thus, gaining some vital rights via the UN, the Jews in Israel turned right around and slapped Obama in the face by doing this:  Israel approves settlements despite peace talks – World (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)

The plan dramatically increases the size of the Jewish settlement there.  One member of the planning committee says the approval “is a nice gift for the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah”.

The European community (and US) has slammed the decision, calling it provocative and demanding it be reversed.   “We believe that this morning’s announcement by the government of Israel is counter-productive to our efforts to resume direct negotiations between the parties,” US secretary of state Hillary Clinton said.

As the US propaganda machine rolled into high gear trying to convince people that Palestine is destroying the ‘peace process’ by going to the UN, the Jews openly do exactly what the Palestinians said they would do: continue stealing their lands while lying about it.  This open, defiant theft is typical: since the US never punishes Israel for breaking UN resolutions or killing peace talks, they now openly do this.  So US professions of wanting peace and real negotiations has been proven to be total hogwash.

But Israel and the US say the bid will only jeopardise the broader peace process and could even spark violence.

This is an IMMENSE diplomatic embarrassment for our entire country, not just Obama and Valkyrie Hillary.  The Jews in Israel think this theft is funny.  A Jewish New Year gift!  Rosh Hashanah is when the virtuous are rewarded and the evil, punished.  Naturally, since the God worshipped by Jews happens to be a homicidal maniac (anyone complaining about the Islamic interpretation of this ‘God’ should understand, being bloody is part and parcel of this ‘God’!) it is the innocent who are punished by losing their homes and being locked into ghettos whereas the victors in war steal the spoils and consume it for themselves.

This ‘might makes right’ view of the Jews both in Israel and abroad is a terrible thing because they are a very small minority and if they continue showing that ethnic cleansing is good and even holy, this will bite them back, big time, hugely, across the entire planet. The present plan of being liberal, open and anti-racist in foreign lands while at home in Israel, being viciously racist and intolerant: this won’t last too much longer.  This yin/yang duopoly is doomed to explode in everyone’s faces.

This kind of pressure has apparently manifested into policy already, as Tuesday also saw the announcement of a major new settlement expansion in Gilo, one of the “ring neighborhoods” created in territory conquered by the Israeli military in 1967, which will include 1,100 new housing units. Indeed, this year has seen a dramatic increase in settlement expansion.

Such moves to grab land and marginalize the Palestinian leadership may be more widely supported in the Knesset than some expect. The deputy speaker of the Israeli Knesset Danny Danon, who recently appeared with Republican Presidential candidate Rick Perry in a speech on the conflict, has said openly he does not believe in a two state solution. And Prime Minister Netanyahu has suggested multiple times that all of Judea and Samaria – the West Bank – belong to the Jewish people.

The Jews don’t want a single state.  At least, not yet.  They hope and pray they get the right to drive out the last of the West Bank natives and then declare Israel complete…until they want more land.  This relentless ‘Lebensraum’ game is pure Naziism.  The Palestinians have long dared them to declare a unified state with full civil rights for non-Jews.  This is why the Jews want the US to force the Palestinians to say, ‘Israel is a JEWISH state’ rather than a nation.  That is, only for Jews, not other people.  So dutifully, the US has pressured the Palestinians to say this.

The US is mad at China patrolling seas right next to China.  China doesn’t ring the US with hostile naval and air bases.  Deciding it was time, thanks to the Jews stealing even more lands after whining about the Palestinians wanting recognition at the UN, Iran plans to send ships close to US waters.  This is rather funny since they have the legal right to do this.  All nations are demanding to act like the US.  The US is right now, for a short while longer, the most expensive and extensive military machine on earth.  And is on the verge of bankruptcy.

And the assassin drone wars are finally bearing fruit…for China, as Pakistan Scrambles for New Allies as Split With US Seems Likely — News from Antiwar.com.  The assassination of bin Laden was the final straw that broke this camel’s back.  Desire for revenge and a need to silence bin Laden (see the above story about the Saudis and Atta!) drove the government here to commit several grave crimes.  Illegally entering someone’s sovereign state to assassinate someone is very, very illegal.  It is cause for war.

The US practices ‘might makes right’ so we think this ‘war’ won’t happen except it will, one way or another.  This is why diplomacy is supposed to work: to prevent wars, not enable them.  Of course, diplomacy fails all the time which is why history is a very bloody business and often grim reading.
