Yes, the Zionists have twisted Obama’s arm and gotten him to falsely charge Syria with using yet another fake WMD thing so we can do more war crimes against Muslims. We can’t stop this, AIPAC owns Congress and has reins firmly in hand and our media owners are all co-conspirators and here is today’s example of Zionist Agitprop where they totally make up stuff in order to control what people think and feel about something. Trust of the readers is required and the Mainstream Media has been losing trust steadily but not fast enough. So, we are going to examine what Russia TV has to say compared to the Washington Post which is run by a Bilderberg conspirator.
Vladimir Putin defends the U.S. on spying programs, drones and Occupy Wall Street
Vladimir Putin defends the U.S. on spying programs, drones and Occupy Wall StreetRussian President Vladimir Putin called the massive U.S. surveillance programs, revealed last week by former NSA contractor Edward Snowden, “generally practicable” and “the way a civilized society should go about fighting terrorism.” His comments, made in a far-ranging interview to the state-backed news network RT, seemed to defend programs that have been deeply controversial in the United States and much of Europe, offering an endorsement that the Obama administration is probably not thrilled to receive.
The headline is a lie as is much of the article. It is quite amusing, the WP hopes readers never look at the original source. So, when people do look at Russia TV to see the real interview, what are they to think of the WP report? Well, it is obviously full of lies and deceptions as is the entire NSA/CIA operations across the planet. They lie so often and so shamelessly, they no longer even trouble to make it believable they just hope people are stupid.
He said of the New York city police response to Occupy Wall Street, in a comment that seemed consistent with much of his sympathy toward controversial U.S. programs, “That’s the way it’s done in the U.S., and that’s the way it’s done in Russia.” That’s not really true, of course – the United States doesn’t sentence people who sing anti-Obama songs to labor camps – but it is unlikely to convince many U.S. critics of NSA or drone programs.
The two sentences I highlighted show clearly how evil the WP writers have become. Do propaganda too much and you turn into Pravda. First off, this deceitful article doesn’t mention ‘Pussy Riot’ and I discovered at the WP comments section, if you write the word ‘pussy’ it is automatically CENSORED! HAHAHAHA. So we can’t talk about the Pussy Riot band girls at all! What do we call them? Kitty Kat Kuties? Seriously, what an insane world the WP real estate is, quite risible.
Secondly, the agitprop gang at the WP want readers to think that Occupy Wall Street people love Putin. And they all would laugh hysterically at the Post suggestion that Putin treated the Pussy Riot…I mean the Kitty Kat Kuties…much worse than the Occupy Wall Street protestors who were beaten, tasered, jailed, pepper sprayed in the face, SPIED UPON, etc. Where is the difference? If Occupy Wall Street were to invade the National Cathedral during religious services with the President and Congress leaders in attendance, would the Pussy Riot kids be handled with kid gloves or shot to death?
We know the answer, they would be gunned down. Especially if they stripped down like the Pussy girls. This pretense that we can protest this way in the US and nothing happens has NEVER been true, ever. In my entire life, anyone here were to do as the Pussy/Kitty Kat girls, they would have been crushed brutally. Period.
So here is the real story from Russia: Putin on NSA leak: Government surveillance shouldn’t break law — RT News
Speaking to RT the Russian president stressed that Snowden revealed “nothing we didn’t know before”, adding that surveillance “is becoming a global phenomenon in the context of combatting international terrorism”, and that “such methods are generally practicable”.
But Putin pointed out that “the question is how well those security agencies are controlled by the public.”
“I can tell you that, at least in Russia, you cannot just go and tap into someone’s phone conversation without a warrant issued by court,” Putin said answering the question of RT’s Editor-in-Chief Margarita Simonyan.
“That’s more or less the way a civilized society should go about fighting terrorism with modern-day technology. As long as it is exercised within the boundaries of the law that regulates intelligence activities, it’s alright. But if it’s unlawful, then it’s bad.”
Commenting on Obama’s statement that “You can’t have 100 per cent security and 100 per cent privacy,” Putin disagreed, saying it is possible if done within the law.
So this is totally at odds with the WP headline and story. The entire problem here is, Snowden revealed that Clapper and others LIED to Congress. And LIED to the Committee that supposedly oversees their spying activities. These lies mean Clapper and others should be ARRESTED and charged with perjury. Instead, they are held up as our protectors and saviors, not criminals operating entirely on their own doing whatever they please with no oversight. I like what Putin said about other things which the WP didn’t want to reveal to readers, namely, our stupid wars against Muslims.
First, he said the US should not arm nor invade Syria. Secondly, he noted what I have said in the past:
Putin reminded that the quality of life in Libya was one of the highest in the region before the regime change.
“What do you have there now? There is a war of everybody against everybody among various tribes, there is war for resources, and, I’m afraid, if we go the same way in Syria, there will be same havoc in Syria that we’re now witnessing in Libya,” he concluded. “Isn’t that enough from what we’re seeing in Pakistan and Afghanistan right now, where there’re terrorists that are not controlled by anyone, except for terrorists?”
THAT is the real crime, not the silly Benghazi CIA operation going sour story. But Congress won’t discuss that business, will they? As for the Pussy Kitty Kat girls, here is the WP talking about it and then Putin talking about the same thing: Vladimir Putin defends the U.S. on spying programs, drones and Occupy Wall Street
But here is what Putin really said:
Speaking about the United States and opposition movements, Putin stressed that it is not right that the State Department supports “opposition in Russia.”
“Russia doesn’t try to influence Occupy activists, yet foreign agents try to do this in Russia,” he said, referring to the Occupy movement that initially started from protests in New York and then spread worldwide.
Quite correct. During the Vietnam war, the CIA and the government tried falsely to tag us antiwar demonstrators as being tools of Mao and the KGB Russians. This was government agitprop. The US should support antigovernment demonstrations in the US and if we sing songs and strip down in Congress, in cathedrals or in the White House, they should applaud and ask for more. Heavens! Snowden got more stripper sexy stuff than these guys on a daily basis! And this is because he didn’t want to arrest, beat, strip search and taser the poor girl.
They should try this some time.

Kitty Kat Kuties is pretty funny, but may I respectfully suggest Kitty Kaos as closer to the original Pussy Riot.
Israel and the Saudis must think they can survive in a sea of failed states behind iron walls and domes.I don’t see how this will work for them in the long run.It didn’t work for the whites in Africa.
The thing is Russia treats protestors more humanely than US.
They still rely on only muscle.
Rules are clear though don’t mix politics and Business.
Don’t mess with energy sector.
Btw. Russia does not have capital punishment anymore.
No gulags…
It is far from democracy or western values but it is Russia not Sovjet Union.
You guys start to remind me of stories about Sovjet Union.
People said that they hated everything official.
And believed nothing anymore.
You guys are going there fast.
@ JT: A lot of us, myself included, are already there; if a gov’t official told me that the sky is blue, I wouldn’t believe him/her until I went outside and saw for myself! 🙂
Media moguls trying to tar the program by insinuating support from Russians. I agree.
Uber-wealthy fear a statutory program that could produce admissible evidence, rather than the old school spooks wearing headphones and secrecy muzzles.
Maybe the NSA has already given the hint to every politician they have dirt on that they ought to go ahead and support the program. I suppose that’s what Hoover would have done.
My guess is democrats and republicans all come out in favor of the program.
IRS + NSA spying might be a combo that worries the elites.
Why don’t you go against those type of terrorists, the tax evaders?
Hold your nose .. tightly ..
U.S. Agencies Said to Swap Data With Thousands of Firms
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-06-14/u-s-agencies-said-to-swap-data-with-thousands-of-firms.html
“Thousands of technology, finance and manufacturing companies are working closely with U.S. national security agencies, providing sensitive information and in return receiving benefits that include access to classified intelligence, four people familiar with the process said.
These programs, whose participants are known as trusted partners, extend far beyond what was revealed by Edward Snowden, a computer technician who did work for the National Security Agency.”

‘I don’t know,’ Alice answered.
‘Then,’ said the Cat, ‘it doesn’t matter.”
I expect that Putin will signifigantly up the ante in Syria an a couple of days or so. I sure hope that we’re bluffing, because I doubt that the Russians are; Russian national interests, and national pride, are on the line, and I just don’t see them backing down. Is our gov’t stupid enough to poke the Russian bear with a sharp, pointy stick; time will tell, but this may be the start of a long, hot, dangerous summer.
We have become the realization of George Orwell’s warning. We are that state with even an anti-sex league known as the Republican Party who throws temper tantrums when they don’t win the presidency after wanting to take the ladies by the hair and drag them into the 17th century. Oh, they’re doing too well in the colleges and the work force—Why, we can’t have that! That’s demographics—over 50% of the population and of course there are the hispanics….
But back to the subject at hand. Of course the newspapers are losing their credibility. So has MSM. They are so deep in lies they don’t know anyway out nor do they care anymore.
Through non-stop propaganda for the plutocracy, they have destroyed any hope of getting us on board with the program of disinheriting us all.
RE:NSA and privatized security: they imagine the herd looked up for a moment when it felt danger, but has been soothed back into eating their GMO grass feed again, told that the polls say others of the herd thinks this is all fine with them.
I think the Prism thing is more about the privatized push against the public domain of all countries as the infinite growth model hits against the wall of limited resources. They must cannibalize the sovereign nation states to make the expected profits. This can no longer be done by barrel-assing through the dwindling resources.
We are in perpetual war and that means there is no constitution left(except the 2nd amendment)
And most importantly the breakdown of all sovereign statehood is on the brink of transnational and banking takeover.
I have mentioned the TPP. Take a listen to Guns and butter on kpfa Berkeley
the secret fast-tracked vote is upon us this summer. Circumventing congress who know next to nothing about this….It will make all countries into the colonies of banks and transnation business.

@IAMSpartacus
Yes our “government” is stupid enough to go after Russia. Because our “government” is not Washington DC. It is in Israel, Japan and various Free Trade corporations who don’t reside in the US.
As far as Israel is concerned, they know the US is failing. So they are trying to squeeze the rest of the blood from the stone while they still have time. Although I’m baffled as to how they think they will survive without the US taking the hits for their bad reputation. Russia and China have no interest in keeping them around, they try to make nice with the Middle East for share in the resources. Israel gets in their way.
Isn’t this all so sad? Just like barreling into WWI. France, Russia, Germany and Britain all stretched to their limits in colonization militarism with restive natives across the globe and then by WWII, Nazi Germany and Japan both go full throttle in the colonization murders!
We are fighting something even nastier now: religious crusades which always end in destruction of the contestants. The only reason the Mongols who overran the Byzantine, Russian and Middle Eastern and…Indian and Chinese empires didn’t run over all of Europe is due to them finally wearing out and turning inwards.
And they didn’t give a hoot about religion. Only after they settled down did they take up whatever religion they were conquering.
“The only reason the Mongols who overran the Byzantine, Russian and Middle Eastern and…Indian and Chinese empires didn’t run over all of Europe is due to them finally wearing out and turning inwards.”

Inheritance problem:
Providentially in this year the Great Khan died in Mongolia; the Mongol leaders hastened back the thousands of miles to Karakorum, their capital, to elect his successor, and Western Europe escaped.

for comment #10: Tried buying ammo lately?
And right on cue: “Syrian regime approves Russian Golan troops offer”; since the UN already turned this down, if they deploy, it’ll probably be outside of the UN patroled zone, conviently near the Jordanian border, no doubt.
This may be our Serbia aka 1914.

Well said.
Did you write that yourself?
Glenn Greenwald is saying that there are more revelations to come and that Prism is only a small part of the whole program. Congress critters that were informed about the programs were shocked at the extent of them, but of course can’t say anything about them apart from expressing their shock…
The Russians have been playing ball since the 90s. The games have winners and the games have losers, but the rules don’t call for WWIII, particularly since all the tough guys are on the same team this time.
The rules appear to contain agreement about energy policy, with the West and the major powers (China and Russia) on one team and the rest of the world on the other. Within that paradigm, it seems the rules allow the west and the other major powers to wrestle amongst each other for the ball on any given play, such as with Syria.
I’d be concerned the rules were breaking down if Russia (or China) stopped using the Platt’s window or WTI/Brent as a benchmark.
Russia went from getting 90 Rubles a barrel in 1998, to 750 Rubles a barrel in 2001, to 3,700 Rubles a barrel today. Their production has increased constantly since a low in 1998, and their GDP has been humming along with some 10% growth years. Their news carries global warming crap that they know is patently false. Guvnor even helps depress crude in the Platt’s window.
Of course, war could happen just like it could happen by accident with North Korea and South Korea, but I don’t see it.
My guess: I think Russia will keep Assad believing they’re helping as best they can while they cozy more ships into their new satellite state of Cyprus to party hard. If they get lucky, Assad pulls through anyhow and they get a two-fer.
Russia is not ‘on our side’. This isn’t a two side thing, it is like the dice you used in Magic card games, for example. Many sides! Different outcomes every time the dice are thrown.
The US has decided to pretend the dice has not even six sides but rather two sides and this is totally insane.
The modern card games were a bit after my time. My games had dice and the strategy games had little cardboard “chits” with big maps. Anyway, yes, it’s more complicated and there are many facets of risk.
My point is that one facet most fail to point out is the huge interest the big players have in exploiting the weak before they really get down to beating on each other, particularly in a negative sum game.
Much of the bluster is just that. And, if Russia did decide to let Syria go its own way, they’d maximize confusion instead of telling Assad straight up. So, it’s very hard to determine the dynamics and the risks because they would naturally be obscured and exaggerated.
JT,
are you kidding me? Of course I wrote that! Thanks for the comps, but it’s kinda backhanded. I do so much research on economics and peak oil, that after all these years I’ve put together a solid, comprehensive view on what’s going on–I think?!
The way I come to certain conclusions, is to use my memory well, and look at the patterns. I don’t take any information on face value, but try and read between the lines, as they say. That way I can deduce what motivations lie behind the actions we observe. –I post on different sites often enough that sometimes even I surprise myself, given that I’m a visual artist and not a writer.
Larry —I’m really describing the passion in a segment of the American people who are fighting against any whittling down of what they see as their rights.
The righties don’t even see the corporatization of govt. They hate govt, but don’t understand that govt is supposed to be an extension of their will. We have lost the most important tenet of this representational republic. We should be forcing our will on govt., not the other way around.
Instead armies of lobbyists and giant money has destroyed the American revolution and too few are fighting back. We will be impoverished beyond our imagination because of various factors like peak oil and never ending war. Remember Milton Friedman’s Shock Doctrine is being used on this country and the world. Through the fog of war those who have power can steal.
And yeah, Elaine, you’re right about this middle east thing blowing up. Gerald Celente says when they run out of economic options they’ll take you to war—what describes this moment best?
The problem with using guns to fix things is, it always ends in vicious dictators on either the far left or far right taking over a la Hitler, Stalin, Mao, etc.
Yup, who will be our next demagogue? Let’s see who’s lining up for POTUS in 2016. (will there be a dark horse?) Will the people hand them the reins of power for “safety”?)
Stay tuned, folks to your favorite TV station.
Mao said ‘Political Power comes from the barrel of a gun’!
Indeed, he killed 70,000,000. He should know.

Sorry no disrespect intended.
I agree, you have a good comprehensive view on it.
Thanks JT. Glad to hear some folks see it too.
