Snowden forced Obama and Congress to reveal the true high cost of our spy nation. Somewhere around $100+billion. Then there is the trillion dollar Pentagon going to the Hill to whine about how they are cutting to the bone and need more money…until tonight when suddenly there is endless money, endless troops, endless ability to go to war for Israel. It cost us a cool near-trillion dollars which is part of the huge budget deficit which we must pay for by paying taxes and getting no services. After Hurricane Sandy destroyed big hunks of NY and NJ, our Congress said, there was no more money so go to hell! We have no hurricanes this year, it is quiet as a graveyard, Mother Nature cooling off a lot faster than expected. But the point is, we have no money for Americans but endless funds for foreign adventures that are great for AIPAC and horrible for us.

Despite all this, the Senate panel votes to authorize Syria strike 10-7 which is amazing considering that AIPAC usually gets 90%+ of the vote when the demand Congress do their bidding. The cold feet comes from the realization that the vast majority of Americans do NOT want to attack Syria. The fear of the voter suddenly realizing their representatives are frauds, liars and foreign agents is HUGE. The rats who normally take AIPAC bribes and push the Jewish ethnic cleansing objectives are getting a shudder of fear as their phones ring off the hooks with angry voters demanding someone tell the truth.

Ehehehe, ‘the war can be payed for with existing funds…’ [the US is BROKE]
I’m sure we all remember when the Bush administration and attached neocons claimed the Iraq invasion would be limited (it would be over in months), the invaders would be greeted with flowers and the total cost would be no more than “$50 to 60 billion dollars”…
Well, here we are looking at a cost calculation with interest for $6 trillion or so running for the next few decades.
And make no mistake, what is going on on the Hill now is not about only about Syria. If they get their resolution for the ’90 day’ war on Syria they will take it all the way to Teheran if they possibly can, and of course they can with enough provocation and false flag ops on top. They KNOW there will not be another chance. They know for certain that there will be no vote for the attack on Iran in similar circumstances as now. They will make sure all hell breaks lose so they get the war they are so desperate for.

To make matters worse, the Chinese are now calling the US liars, too; I don’t think that they’ll be lending the US any money to pay for this wild, reckless imperial adventure. Congress and Obama had better get a very clear understanding of just exactly how dangerous this is getting; they may want to think twice, and back down on this.

They want war in the ME. Then there’s China, #1 holder of US debt. Along with Russia, China opposes war. I don’t think the debate in Congress over attacking Syria has ANYTHING to do with negative public support. I think the issue for members of Congress–and Obama–is how to pacify both sides? HAHAHA! There are no good options. MC’s love the money from AIPAC and SA, but the Chinese can turn the economic “screws” very hard, anytime they want to. I think at the end of the day, it will be LOTS of Tomahawk missles followed by boots on the ground. I find it offensive that the Pentagon is using the very same lie they used for the last Iraq/Afghanistan invasion; it would only cost $50-$60 million. Even Fox viewers will have trouble believing that one.
I don’t think they even expect anyone to believe them anymore. Those that support the wars and the bombings will support them no matter what out of pure ideology, they don’t care about if it is the truth or sane or reasonable. They want the war and they want the bombings. That’s all there is to it.

That will set up the military nicely for infighting, backstabbing and bringing in the ‘crazies’ there as well. Then there will be ‘crazies’ on both the political and military front… nice.

$2.5 million inflation adjusted would be a bit more in today’s money. But certainly the politicians of today go for tens of millions and more. In these days of money printing and computer created money what’s a million or two. Just look at Blair and Clinton. Obama expects much the same I am sure, he probably won’t get it though because he is black… but he will be well heeled for the rest of his days and will be able to keep Michelle in luxury.
