The slide into fascism is obvious to me. Fascists hate women’s rights, for example. They can be of any culture or belief system or religion or tribe. Fascists believe that ‘blood’ determines citizenship, and that ethnic tensions are best handled by either eviction of other citizens or annihilation of various tribal or religious groups. It leads to endless wars and redrawing of borders to match population occupation by ‘blood’. Hitler often talked about ‘blood’ as do Zionists. Religious terrorism and wars are spreading rapidly within nations, destroying them.
The US invented the concept of ‘citizenship’ based on the Roman Empire example whereby, after several centuries, Rome made everyone ‘citizens’. From the beginning, the concept of ‘citizenship’ had severe problems in the US due to the army of kidnapped African slaves forced to work for free for Europeans who invaded North America and the native Indian tribes who were not citizens at all but treated as ‘aliens’ in their own homelands.
The tensions from the foundation of the US as a ‘nation with citizens who have civil rights’ continues to this day as the denial of citizenship to various religions and tribes and people rises overseas as well as at home. Stop trying to explain the concept of “human decency” to a world that is not pre-disposed towards it anymore. In the war against a wicked world where most of Mankind falls on the side of Evil, you are not going to win a public relations contest trying to define what is good and moral for them.
These people need to be destroyed. We should NOT be desiring that they be on our side. As we head into this Shmittah year, a lot of these people won’t make it out of that year into year 8 anyway. So explaining human decency to people who are destined to die is a fool’s errand.

The KN’s position was that a person had to actually LIVE in the US for 21 years before they could become citizens. I think 21 years is a bit long, but I agree with the concept completely. I think a person should have to live–and pay taxes–for a period of time BEFORE they can even apply for citizenship. How long? Specific time isn’t real important, but I would say someone should have to live in the US–conditionally, meaning they can be deported, for around 4 years. I especially endorse a waiting period for citizenship during bad economic times. If a government has to prioritize, citizens who have been here longer-and been taxpayers longer-go ahead of people who just got here. Imho, the US has NO obligation to be the world’s caretaker.
