It’s A Small World After All, As US/EU Sanctions Against Russia Strangle Western Economic Systems

Putin asks government to develop countermeasures to Western sanctions such as Passengers could face longer journeys to Far East as Russia considers banning western airlines from its airspace in revenge for sanctions plus deals with China and reduction in EU energy sales and this: Vladimir Putin signs historic $20bn oil deal with Iran to bypass Western sanctions – Telegraph:

Under the terms of a five-year accord, Russia would help Iran organise oil sales as well as “cooperate in the oil-gas industry, construction of power plants, grids, supply of machinery, consumer goods and agriculture products”, according to a statement by the Energy Ministry in Moscow.

Despite the U-turn, news of a possible agreement hit US markets. The Dow fell 139 points, or 0.8pc, led by energy companies such as Chevron, down 2.5pc, and ExxonMobil, down 1.9pc. Brent Crude fell 1.5pc before recovering to trade down 0.7pc at $104.61.

As I often point out, the entire point of these illicit and stupid ‘sanctions’ is to make energy more expensive and make powerful rich people richer.  Now, their little plans to ream us all out are falling apart.  Also, Russia scraps Japan meeting in response to sanctions as the US and Japan and Germany work day and night to make the China/Russia alliance stronger and stronger.

Then there is Afghanistan:  US General Killed an German general injured by an Afghan Soldier — News from

There was no indication of why the gunmen attacked them, though he has been confirmed to be a “vetted” Afghan soldier, and he was slain in the incident.

Green-on-blue insider attacks reached their apex in 2012, but dropped primarily as a function of less contact between NATO troops and Afghan forces. Green-on-green insider attacks among Afghan forces have continued to be a problem.

The Pentagon is downplaying the impact of the incident, saying there is no reason for it to impact trust between occupation forces and the Afghan military.

The stupid ‘we must train the most ferocious fighters on earth to fight’ fantasy is ending with the execution of various war criminals in Afghanistan for that is what our troops are as they are in Iraq and other venues.  Not that they should be blamed entirely, they are, like Nazi soldiers, simply obeying orders.  The neocons who, with AIPAC, run our diplomacy and war machine are the war criminals.  Humanitarian catastrophe: Lugansk, E. Ukraine, left with no water, power as the Kiev coup sponsored by US neocons turns half of Ukraine into Gaza.

‘This is a humanitarian catastrophe’: Former president Jimmy Carter says ‘there is no humane or legal justification’ for the way Israel has attacked Gaza which did make the news since the US media generally pretends he is dead already.  He shames them all and of course, our media believes that killing unarmed Gaza children is OK.  And that Palestinians have no right to fight foreign invaders.  They are to vanish into history.

The entire US empire is on the verge of this massive collapse due to restarting the Cold War while fighting a very hot war with millions of angry Muslims.  This triple front war coupled with the continuing War on Drugs and failure to patrol our own borders is leading to an internal battle that will destroy our nation in the end.  Americans hate each other and the foreigners invading and people overseas who are fighting our invasions and nearly everything…hate, hate, hate.

I am sure that you could not have missed the twists of the speeches of the saurian representatives of the ‘Western World’ at the various events orgasming over the fact that on the 4th of August 1914 ‘Britannia rule the waves’ managed to start her second 100+ years war. 28 of July and 1st of August were lost.

Listen to the spawn of the reptilians who started the War:

“We were enemies more than once in the last century, and today we are friends and allies. We salute those who died to give us our freedom. We will remember them.” said HRH The Duke of Cambridge

“The events in Ukraine testify to the fact that instability continues to stalk our continent.’ As the prince spoke, news was breaking that Russia’s air force is to begin drills involving more than 100 aircraft from bases close to the Ukraine border.
Putin’s annexation of the predominantly ethnic Russian region of Crimea – the first by a major power in Europe since 1945 – has already sparked international condemnation’. (Read more:

In other words in 1914 we (Brits) were enemies with the Krauts but now we are friends. In 1914 we (Brits) were friends with the Russkies, but now we are enemies!
If you put that in the context offered by a new wave in historical studies of the first World War that the participation of Britain on the side of Russia against its ‘natural allies’ (the Coburgs, Gothas, Hannover and assorted descendants of the Northmen pirates – sorry Elaine-) was an egregious error that must be corrected, you can but shudder and say your prayers.

ELAINE: My northern pirate family who became ‘Normans’ were a vicious lot, not only oppressed the peasants but hated each other and fought like fiends with family over various stolen items like big parts of countries we occupied.

Man dies in Saudi Arabia after returning from Sierra Leone hot zone country. They were in the process of testing him for the disease.

Spain is planning to airlift a missionary back home.

This is the problem that the world’s countries should be concentrating on, not starting WWIII with Russia.

  3. To have a war you need everyone to participate. Guess 400 soldiers on the Ukrainian side crossed the Russian border and turned in their guns. One young fella said. “We just want peace.”

I love this line from above “The Pentagon is downplaying the impact of the incident, saying there is no reason for it to impact trust between occupation forces and the Afghan military.” LOL. A “vetted” (trusted) afghan soldier ASSASSINATES an American general. Just another random, inexplicable assassination? That is what we are supposed to believe? Are we supposed to be so damn stupid we can’t see that NO AMERICAN soldier is safe in the presence of armed afghan soldiers? Our leaders are criminals.

Any American soldier who finds himself / herself in Afghanistan deserves exactly whatever the Afghanis dish out.

“When two elephants fight, it is the grass that gets trampled”

It may be the Euro currency that gets taken out as a result of this and other stresses in Europe.

Apparently there is not enough inflation in the Eurozone…

Could investors be running for shelter across the EZ to the dollar?

Mews, I like that line about the elephants. Actually, it has been ONE elephant running rampant this last decade. The US.
