This shows the North Pole regions if the planet gets warmer. Supposedly, this means we and all living things will perish. Trees will grow closer to the North Pole, for example. Oh, the horrors! Only, it appears that the previous Interglacial was much warmer than the present one. Trees grew much closer to the North Pole. Life flourished during that Interglacial. My mountain was -4ºF at dawn. In Europe, UK weather: Colder, windier and with likelihood of risky icy road conditions and snow ‘blizzards’ which is why the Prince of Wales is demanding it be colder because warm climate is evil.
This is how the Arctic will look in 100 years if we have CO2 warming:
During the Last Interglacial (MIS 5), at Lake CF8…
1. The July air T was about 4°C higher than today. 2. Shrub birches were present locally at 70°N. 3. Therefore, the northern limit of shrub birch populations on eastern Baffin Island was about 400 km north. 4. This northward migration of shrub is in agreement with the projected treeline expansion by the end of the 21st century in consequence of a 2 to 4°C climate warming (ACIA, 2005).
In a global warming scenario, it is important that we improve our understanding of how changes in shrub cover likely influence the behaviour of the climate system, notably through a decrease in albedo (e.g., Walker et al., 2006, PNAS).
We know that rhinos and elephants roamed Europe and Siberia during this Interglacial and when the following Ice Age happened, they evolved to have thick wooly coats and thrived during that climate cycle. Kruger National Park – SANParks – Official Website
During the much, much hotter Miocene era, elephants grew larger and larger in size and expanded their territory from Africa to China. Then the Ice Ages began and the Eurasian ones evolved into furry animals and walked from Siberia to Alaska and down through all of North America. Elephants in Africa remained there with virtually no fur due to it being warm even during the Ice Ages.
I keep pointing this out because the Miocene hot era barely affected Africa and incidentally, Australia, while it led to huge changes in animal population and area colonization in North America and Eurasia. When seeking future scenarios for climate, the focus has to be on these two continents since they are the ones most affected by Ice Age conditions. All the others are barely touched.
The one issue of most importance is, a warmer Siberia and Alaska and West Coast compared to the bulk of Europe, Canada and the Great Lakes region of the US, is warmer than the rest of the continent during Ice Ages. So pointing out that these places are warmer than the Ice Age affected sectors simply means we are DEFINITELY going into Ice Age conditions, not the reverse. The fact that a bunch of ‘scientists’ have reversed this deliberately irritates me greatly and I feel that the anti-global warmists underestimate the danger we are in because they argue about ‘global temperatures’ when that has nothing to do with Ice Ages.
That is, if we wish to detect when an Ice Age is eminent, we should understand that the signals for this is when we have more la Nina events, the sun has no sun spots and lots of solar wind events, and summers grow colder and shorter in only three areas: the eastern two thirds of North America and western Europe. We don’t look at Siberia nor Alaska to detect this.
Predictions get sillier and sillier as ‘climatologists’ misunderstand climate. Superbowl Faces Permanent Drought was predicted in 2011 by climatologist Ramm. Here is Sunday’s forecast: Rain and SNOW throughout the region including poor, pathetic Los Angeles which is supposed to be dying of hot, dry global warming.
Droughts in the Southwest do not end when all the man-made reservoirs are full. It ends when the rain pattern returns and rain falls regularly (for desert conditions). The drought is over in the Southwest. I look at pictures of Tucson where I lived during the wet years of the mid-1960’s and the saguaros are fat and full from the rain and the desert is much greener than last year. So the drought is over, as far as the natural plants that evolved in this climate are concerned.
Since Tucson pumped down the water table badly in the last 100 years, the rivers that used to flow year round no longer do this even when it is wetter. This has to do with too many people living in a desert, not the climate. Freezing the northern half of the nation to produce water in Arizona is an insane choice to make.
One thing the green movement pushed and which farmers loved because it promised greater profits, is biofuels. Report Questions Focus on Biofuels in Energy Policy says the New York Times today. The story goes on to suggest the biofuels program isn’t working too well. The great biofuels scandal – Telegraph published 2 years ago condemning biofuels as an attack on the global poor:
Greens initially championed biofuels as a weapon against global warming, claiming they would emit much less CO2 than fossil alternatives. As plants soak up CO2 while growing, the subsequent combustion simply releases the CO2 back into the air, resulting in zero net emissions.
But the dream has become a nightmare, as environmentalists turn against it. Even Al Gore claims biofuels are a “mistake”
Studies show that as land is dedicated to energy crops, land for food is simply taken from other areas – often forests – leading to substantial CO2 emissions. And processing biofuels emits CO2, drastically reducing benefits.
Starve the peasants and make them live like rats is definitely the Bilderberg plan. New Paper Claims Extreme La Niñas to Become More Frequent under Global Warming was the latest insane paper put out by ‘scientists’ who utterly are incapable of understanding our climate swings. A lot of the ‘deniers’ who are the sane people in this debate, have debunked this stupid paper which is based entirely on computer data that is corrupted materials which were put out by the IPCC and NOAA and NASA to prove there is global warming even as it gets decisively colder in the Ice Age sensitive parts of the planet.
Here is what these same ‘scientists’ said about global warming caused by CO2 as they understood it just a few years ago:
“It appears that we have a very good case for suggesting that the El Ninos are going to become more frequent, and they’re going to become more intense and in a few years, or a decade or so, we’ll go into a permanent El Nino. So instead of having cool water periods for a year or two, we’ll have El Nino upon El Nino, and that will become the norm. And you’ll have an El Nino, that instead of lasting 18 months, lasts 18 years,” he said. -Dr Russ Schnell, research scientist at Mauna Loa Observatory, BBC November 7, 1997
Thanks to the changes in solar activity, this never happened. So, they have to now pretend global warming doesn’t cause el Ninos, it causes all weather conditions. The Warmest Year Evah business was based on the fact that the ocean off shore of Siberia/Alaska was ‘warmer than usual.’ This ocean warm spot which isn’t very hot, really, is probably the norm for Ice Ages. That is, it happened all the time in the past and has zero to do with ‘global warming’ since it happens also during Ice Ages. This is my reading of the data, no real hard proof of this but a strong suspicion that this is true since we know that neither Siberia nor large parts of Alaska had any glaciation at all.
Prince of Wales Calls for Climate ‘Magna Carta’ to Save Planet from Global Warming – Breitbart: the Prince and his family are founding members of the Bilderberg gang.
Had those history professors done their job, Prince Charles would surely be aware that Magna Carta was – at least insofar as it matters to us most today – a charter which protected the rights of the many against the tyranny of unaccountable power. But the kind of sweeping, pan-global, UN-enforced climate treaty the Prince is proposing represents the precise opposite.
Not just one but two of my ancestors signed the Magna Carta. A lot of it was about land rights, fishing rights, who controlled mills and right of way for roads and of course, inheritance and taxes on the landowners of Britain many of whom were invading Normans like my ancestors who basically confiscated the land. The British royals had the biggest estates, of course. So the Prince who has huge estates today and owns the mineral (and fracting) rights of many properties that owners who bought these, don’t really own (like in the US West, you own only the top six inches of earth) wrote this “Magna Carta for the Earth” which basically says HE owns EVERYTHING.
And all those colonists overseas thought they were free of the British royals after WWII? HAHAHA. They are in the crosshairs. The US media went pretty much silent about India rebuffing Prince Charles and Obama this week. The Indians said basically, ‘Go to hell!’ The Chinese were a bit craftier and pretended to be worried about seeing Manchuria get warmer and more verdant so they signed up to continue ‘polluting’ CO2 for another 30-50 years when they plan to rule the earth and tell Charles and the US to jump in a lake.
We already jumped into a lake of fire with the anti-Muslim wars which are a total disaster for us and costly, too: U.S. Suddenly Goes Quiet on Effort to Bolster Afghans
Details on the $65 billion that the United States has spent to build Afghanistan’s army and police forces were once shared, but as of this month the information is now considered classified.
We built nothing in Afghanistan except a mountain of skulls. Obama promised to run an open government but it isn’t, as per usual, things we need to know are made top secret. We lost nearly $2 trillion fighting angry Muslims in Afghanistan and Iraq and now, Syria, Libya, etc. We are going bankrupt and another Ice Age may be brewing. Certainly, it is increasingly obvious we are going into a Little Ice Age situation.
