‘The system will target the enemy’s deck-based, tactical, long-range and strategic aircraft, electronic means and suppress foreign military satellites’ radio-electronic equipment,,’ Russia’s Radio-Electronic Technologies Group (KRET) Deputy CEO Yuri Mayevsky told Russian news agency TASS.
To comply with international weapons laws, the system will be mounted on ground-based, air-and seaborne carriers and not on satellites.
Hilarious. I keep pointing out that Russia (and China) are not third world nations. They have equal capacity in the sciences and technology fields as the US and even surpass the US in key areas. And will do so in the future especially since our elites have chosen to turn our university system into a looting expedition designed to chain workers to debts they struggle to repay. The US has, since before WWII, relied on Russian/German/Italian/French trained scientists to run many programs for us, for example.

So let me get this straight. Nuclear Energy is considered a bad thing due to the cost and storage of nuclear waste. Coal is slowly being phased out because its a dirty fuel source. Natural gas via fracking is a bad thing due to water pollution, water consumption, release of methane etc. Oil has its own long history of environment and geo-political issues. So know we are starting to hear how renewables be they wind or solar can also have a negative impact on the planet. Maybe someone could tell me what the hell we as a species are suppose to use that is acceptable to the masses. Just curious.17 replies+21Report Comment

Although Canada emits only 1.58% of the world’s total man-made emissions, the Ontario Liberals were out to show the world that we’re the cleanest on the planet. When only in the infancy stage, the Japanese launched an action against the Liberal’s Green Energy Act as its local procurement requirements were a prohibited subsidy that violated international trade agreements. The World Trade Organization also filed a formal complaint against the Liberals as their Green Energy Act was in clear breach of the WTO rules that prohibit linking subsidies to the use of domestic products. Korea makes off like bandits with over-inflated subsidies that we must now pay. We’ll be paying the highest electricity costs in North America as wind and solar energy is going to cost more than the Liberals predicted and we must cover the 1.1 billion dollars that the Liberals spent closing down gas plants only to win votes. All the while, we’re actually paying Quebec, Manitoba and some North-Eastern States to take our surplus power. While the Liberals advise that our energy costs will rise by 42% over the next five years, given their proven track record of lies and broken promises, you can fully expect the increase will prove well in excess of that. In the meantime, the first clean coal plant was built in Switzerland and went live in Germany in 2008. Clean coal technology uses wet scrubbers, low-nitrogen oxide burners and electrostatic precipitators. Clean coal would have provided a reasonable, achievable and economical solution but the Liberals were determined to force their green utopia upon us despite its negative impact on the economy. The Liberals have completely blotched Ontario’s energy portfolio and, if elected, Trudeau will ruin Canada’s energy portfolio the same way.

The Liberals have wasted billions of our tax dollars with their forced Green Energy Act with, for example the Samsung and sole-sourcing issue: 6.3 billion, the debt retirement charge on hydro: in 2002, the residual stranded debt resulting from the restructuring of hydro was 7.8 billion. The collection of the debt retirement charge from consumers began in May, 2002. The debt was to be paid by 2012, however, 4 billion dollars was added to the debt as the money consumers were paying was diverted into “general revenue” as opposed to paying down the debt. As at March, 2014, consumers paid 11.5 billion in debt retirement charge, however, the debt was reduced by only 3.9 billion, global adjustment: energy bureaucrats have cheated consumers for years by hiding the true costs of energy in a catch-all fee called the “global adjustment” that now makes up the majority of the cost of energy. Consumers will pay 50 billion in global adjustment fees from 2006 to 2015, feed in tariff: 1.6 billion a year for FIT contracts for wind energy plus 2 billion a year for discounted surplus hydro, over 20 year contracts, 72 billion and the smart meter: 3.5 billion. Smart meters were supposed to cost 1 billion but the cost will be double that amount. The Liberals grossly over-estimated the benefits. They thought the benefit would be 600 million over 15 years but failed to include an annual inflationary increase of 50 million that reduces the benefit to 88 million over 15 years. Although Ontarians are now paying the highest electricity costs in North America, we’re paying Quebec, Manitoba and some north-eastern States to take our surplus energy. The Liberals advised that electricity rates will rise by 42% over five years, however, given their proven track record for lying and breaking promises, we can fully expect rates to rise in excess of that. Yes, it is insane. I am 100% for people owning their own solar panels and benefitting from this in their own ways. I am 100% against massive solar facilities run by gangsters set up to strip us of our wealth. The US government knew about my ‘Solar Power for the People’ program when I brought it to Congress way way back in 1998. Then in 2001, the NYC news headquarters such as ABC News told me curtly, ‘NO ONE IS INTERESTED IN THIS AND WE DON’T CARE ABOUT SOLAR ENERGY.’ Yes, this is exactly what they said to me and look at the howls about ‘global warming’ since then! Inexcusable which is why I treat all the crap they spew today as just so much garbage designed to loot the people, not give them any power whatsoever.

If “Russia has claimed to have built a revolutionary new weapon system that can render enemy satellites and weapons useless” now, it means that they have it already fully operational.
People have short memory, otherwise they would have remembered the case of the destroyer Donald Cook in April 2014. A quick reminder:

US destroyer “Donald Cook” with cruise missiles “Tomahawk” entered the neutral waters of the Black Sea on April 10. The purpose was a demonstration of force and intimidation in connection with the position of Russia in Ukraine and Crimea. The appearance of American warships in these waters is in contradiction of the Montreux Convention about the nature and duration of stay in the Black Sea by the military ships of countries not washed by this sea.
In response, Russia sent an unarmed bomber Su- 24 to fly around the U.S. destroyer. However, experts say that this plane was equipped with the latest Russian electronic warfare complex. According to this version, “Aegis” spotted from afar the approaching aircraft, and sounded alarm. Everything went normally, American radars calculated the speed of the approaching target. And suddenly all the screens went blank. “Aegis” was not working any more, and the rockets could not get target information. Meanwhile, Su-24 flew over the deck of the destroyer, did battle turn and simulated missile attack on the target. Then it turned and repeated the maneuver. And did so 12 times.
Apparently, all efforts to revive the “Aegis” and provide target information for the defence failed.”

A United States surveillance drone has been intercepted above the Ukranian region of Crimea, a Russian state arms and technology group said Friday.
“The drone was flying at about 4,000 metres (12,000 feet) and was virtually invisible from the ground. It was possible to break the link with US operators with complex radio-electronic” technology, said Rostec in a statement.
The drone fell “almost intact into the hands of self-defence forces” added Rostec, which said it had manufactured the equipment used to down the aircraft, but did not specify who was operating it.
“Judging by its identification number, UAV MQ-5B belonged to the 66th American Reconnaissance Brigade, based in Bavaria,” Rostec said on its website, which also carried a picture of what it said was the captured drone.

Apparently these messages went unheeded. So they sent it again several times:

Here’s the data that makes that comment by dixie100 blatantly idiotic. Its obvious that just looking at the data you can quickly estimate that Canada’s total is about 1/20 of China’s not some ridiculous number like 1/300th. The US is just as easy 2/3 of China’s total amount (16/24)

USA is responsible for 16.16% of global co2, Per Capita 17.564 tons

They are the elite of the elite after all, the best of the best. This is what American ‘Exceptionalism’ has become in practice: a delusional feeling of invincibility. And oh yes, one more thing US warmongers seem not to have noticed: The Black Sea is a relatively small body of water. Not a lot of room to maneuver if actual shooting starts. One could put it this way: any and all US warships in The Black Sea are like a GIANT p#ssy ready to be f—ed. And it will be if the Russians feel it necessary. Then US leaders will use any Black Sea incidents as a “Rally around the Flag, Boys” opportunity. Sickening.
The Russians may simply go out and arrest the officers of any foreign ships on the Black Sea, and tow the stupid things back to Rostov or wherever. They may be able to actually do that. Then work out the details later, if the ships’ owners want to negotiate.
If they can shut down Aegis, they can shut down any Command and Control Electronics on any ship within receiving range. The rest is just applied towing and freight transfer.
