The rich owners of the NYT are also founding members of the Bilderberg gang way back in 1948. They are pretend liberals who live the good life and are untouched by the nasty side of life due to living in fine neighborhoods, eating at fine restaurants, going to expensive private schools, etc. Naturally, they chide the rest of us for not wanting ghetto trash moved next door to save thugs from themselves. The End of Federally Financed Ghettos – The New York Times:
For the new rules to be effective, federal officials need to make clear that local governments can lose federal housing aid if they persist in dumping subsidized housing into depressed, racially isolated communities instead of putting more of it in integrated areas that offer better schools and job opportunities.
The fact that it has taken nearly 50 years since the law’s passage for these common-sense changes to materialize is all the more distressing, given that federally sanctioned housing discrimination has played a central role in racial ghettoization.
The thug lifestyle is 100% supported by taxpayers dumping billions of dollars into keeping the thugs warm, fed and happy while they pursue their own dreams which is to run huge drug rings and commit various crimes while not worrying about paying any bills since the taxpayers pay for all that stuff, too. Pure profit, what is there not to like about all this?
The liberal solution to thugs is to move them away from each other which doesn’t work since they can travel to each other’s places to do thug things. Moving them into middle class neighborhoods simply means the thugs have more prey to attack. Detroit shows this clearly.
Many, many abandoned homes have, as a last resort, bars on windows and doors to keep out the thugs who roamed free instead of being behind bars, themselves. This never works. I lived in such a community, we had the bars on doors and windows things and the thugs barely paused when attacking homes. The key here is, homeowners usually have to vacate the neighborhood during the day by working elsewhere.
The thugs never leave and wait like lions watching wildebeests and attack as soon as the workers leave home and the kids are in school. Thugs don’t send their kids to school much so they join in like here: 6 Teens Accused of Murder in New Mexico Man’s Shooting Death on his front lawn when he tried to stop them from robbing his home …the teens are all under the age of 18.
‘My dad didn’t deserve this’ | Albuquerque Journal News:All these young teens had multiple arrests already and were sent to various special schools to fix them and stop them from being thugs but of course, none of this worked. The daughter of the victim who died protecting his home from being invaded by teen thugs gives an emotional news conference.
“Part of the information that helped our homicide detectives work so well through this, is the fact that we had an active case going on earlier on a related mobbing case,” Eden said.
The ‘earlier case’ was the same teens running wild. Comments at the news site are from readers who were attacked earlier by these same young thugs.
On the night of the shooting, the group shot Gerecke and then continued to roam the streets, breaking into other homes, according to six arrest warrants filed in Metropolitan Court.
It wasn’t the first time that night King shot at someone that night, police said.
Charles Lawson was sleeping in his house several miles away when he heard a noise downstairs. He told the Journal he heard several people fleeing his house and followed them into the street with his rifle.
“I guess they had been in the house quite a while, because they went through everything,” Lawson said in a phone interview Friday. “I heard something and I let out a holler, ‘Who’s there?,’ and could hear them run out.”
Lawson said he heard gunshots, and Palomino told police that King had shot at him.
I have lived in Tucson and NYC in very high crime neighborhoods. This is why I learned way back in 1970 to use these magic words, ‘You are under arrest’ so frequently, it became a habit. It is astonishing how many people I actually arrested this way. A great add on is to say with great sincerity, ‘You are surrounded, give it up.’
Pro-active police work is fading very fast in the US due to all the howls about police brutality. Yes, the cops can be very mean but then, I was also quite mean sometimes, arresting people has little to do with petting them, it is more like dealing with an enraged pit bull than cooperative, pleasant people.
I suppose we shall have to learn the lessons of the crime wave 1970’s all over again. US cities report a ‘scary’ rise in violent crime as shootings rise by up to 18% | Daily Mail Online
“Maybe we don’t want hundreds of thousands of people stopped and frisked to get a few guns, and maybe we will have to accept that murders are going to go up 10 percent,” said Peter Moskos, a professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. “I don’t know, (but) we really do have to talk about the trade-offs.”
This ‘professor’ can’t figure out the simplest things. The reason the stop and frisk worked and so many thousands of black lives were saved, was due to thugs realizing they might not be able to run wild with guns easily so they left their hardware at home. Once the frisking stopped, they resumed carrying guns and since they hate black males more than anyone else on earth, the death rate of black males has shot upwards again proving that black lives do not matter to black men.
By day, Officers Duane Conner and Sean Dawson regularly patrol the area, parking their squad car and walking their beat, which includes Tompkinsville Park. But as soon as the sun goes down, they cede the territory to drug dealers and vagrants, residents and business owners say…
Since Garner’s death, the number of criminal summonses issued citywide has dropped 19%. In the 120th Precinct, the number of criminal summonses has dropped a whopping 37%.
“Police have a hands-off approach now,” Gjeshbitraj said. “You noticed it immediately after Eric died.”
This means antisocial, insane or thuggish people can do as they please all the time and yes, they resumed their lifestyle with a vengeance. Peeing menace cuffed by cops, only to be back on the streets | New York Post
“It’s disgusting,” said Elton Brahja, a nearby doorman. “He pulls down his pants and goes.
“I’ve called the cops many times and they won’t come,” Brahja added. “When are they going to do something? When he does something?”
Mayor de Blasio, who had gone on the record in favor of “broken windows” policing, made a nonspecific promise to “address” the incident.
“‘Broken windows’ means addressing quality-of-life crimes and that’s a quality-of-life crime,” he said Saturday at an event in Central Park.
Everyday New Yorkers, meanwhile, were not surprised by the public toileting.
Astoria resident Janet Khan, 19, said the urine smell engulfing the subways makes her want to drive, instead.
“It’s horrible,” she said. “I never step in any liquid on the steps. I always think it’s pee and walk around it.”
I remember insane people walking in my neighborhood screaming obscenities to no one and defecating in the streets when they closed all the mental institutions. Most of them died over the course of several severe winters back then, it was horrible to see them freeze to death. I actually dragged one deranged woman to a shelter and put her in when it was below zero. Most NYC people simply stepped over these tragic victims of modern rules that sent them into the streets to die.
I still remember the crazy man who used to march up and down the Holland Tunnel yelling, ‘I’m climbing the mountain’. He eventually died from the fumes. The new mayor of NYC is repeating exactly the same mistakes of the 1970’s. No surprise, his wife claimed that that time period was her very favorite in her own life and she wanted to see it again. Thanks a million. Her happy years were my years fighting crime.
Socialists running a news service have latched onto Detroit not giving away services to attack the government claiming we have a civil right to have free water. I lived for 10 years with no water except melting snow in winter and collecting rain in summer which anyone in Detroit can do. Life without water in Detroit – World Socialist Web Site has this sane comment from a city worker:

I am the Master Plumber for DWSD. The people in charge do not know what they are doing and have no business running one of the largest water treatment and distribution systems in the nation. Her sewer is backing up be cause the system was designed and built with assumption of so many thousands of gallons being flushed down each sewer on each block to keep line scoured and clean. When you now have a 10″-14″ sewer line with only 1 or 2 houses on it there is not enough flow to carry the sh*t away so it sits there in line then when there is a big rain storm the storm drains (which are in the street in front of dwellings while sanitary sewer is in ally behind houses) enters these clogged lines via tie ins at side streets and then because line is halfway full of human waste it enters there basement. I have seen it and know the cause and they will try to fire me for writing this statement.
Detroit is dying. It was killed by free trade and anti-union laws. As whites moved out, blacks seeking welfare and cheap housing moved in and then it was utterly trashed. I used to be a super in a slum in NYC. The tenants actively destroyed anything they could wreck. Ripping down doors, breaking windows, destroying appliances, filth and debris: all constants. The repair bills for lower class tenants can be very high in NYC because you can’t evict them very easily at all. Knowing this, they cheerfully exploit this fact and behave as badly as possible.
The mayor of NYC wants more ‘affordable housing’ but this means really eliminating support for slum housing. No one wants to build housing for the middle class if they are forced into housing thugs next door. The thugs always win, making life impossible for anyone else. Try sleeping at night when the thugs are running wild! Nearly impossible.
