Looking through Google, I find so far nearly no articles about our strange Supreme Court that is made up mostly of Catholic judges with the rest being Jewish judges. Not one single Protestant or NO religion judges. None! 50% of Americans are these two groups! Yet we are ruled by two minority religions. This ridiculous situation is worse because ALL of these minority religious judges imposing themselves on the majority also come from 4 universities and of these, most went to Yale or Harvard. Yale, the home of the Skull and Bones. Congress isn’t even talking about giving the majority of Americans a judge that represents us. Why is that?
So, 2% of the population is Jewish and 21% is Catholic and 30% of the Court is Jewish and 70% is Catholic. What the hell? Bushes and Clinton are responsible for this mess. This is awful. There are twice as many atheists/non religious as Catholics yet they have no one and Protestants are the greatest number of all and have zero representation. What sort of ‘democracy’ is this? Not one as far as I am concerned.
At the time of Breyer’s appointment in 1994, there were two Roman Catholic justices, Antonin Scalia and Anthony Kennedy, and two Jewish justices, Stephen Breyer and Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Clarence Thomas, who had been raised as a Roman Catholic but had attended an Episcopal church after his marriage, returned to Catholicism later in the 1990s. At this point, the four remaining Protestant justices—Rehnquist, Stevens, O’Connor, and Souter—remained a plurality on the Court, but for the first time in the history of the Court, Protestants were no longer an absolute majority.
The first Catholic plurality on the Court occurred in 2005, when Chief Justice Rehnquist was succeeded in office by Chief Justice John Roberts, who became the fourth sitting Catholic justice. On January 31, 2006, Samuel Alito became the fifth sitting Catholic justice, and on August 6, 2009, Sonia Sotomayor became the sixth. By contrast, there has been only one Catholic U.S. President, John F. Kennedy (unrelated to Justice Kennedy), and one Catholic U.S. Vice President, Joe Biden, and there has never been a Jewish U.S. President or Vice President.
At the beginning of 2010, Justice John Paul Stevens was the sole remaining Protestant on the Court. In April 2010, Justice Stevens announced his retirement, effective as of the Court’s 2010 summer recess. Upon Justice Stevens’ retirement, which formally began on June 28, 2010, the Court lacked a Protestant member, marking the first time in its history that it was exclusively composed of Jewish and Catholic justices.
This development has led to some comment. Law school professor Jeffrey Rosen wrote that “it’s a fascinating truth that we’ve allowed religion to drop out of consideration on the Supreme Court, and right now, we have a Supreme Court that religiously at least, by no means looks like America”.
This looks a lot more like a religious coup. And it is. Protestant white groups who are the greatest number of Americans, are told over and over again, they are evil and bad and should be ashamed of themselves…by our media owners. Then we are told that Israel is our best ally and we should pay them huge sums for this service. Then we are told by our media that people of no religion don’t exist as political entities and so forth. This is why we don’t have anyone courting Protestant groups except for the GOP which is running mostly Catholics for President.
And the one standout in that field is…Donald Trump! I will note his popularity with the Protestant South so far which utterly infuriates our media owners few of whom are Southern Protestants. The first Catholic on the Supreme Court was 120 years ago and the Protestant Presidents always made certain there was one Catholic there. Wikipedia says that this has caused great ‘debate’ but I look up variations on the search term for this and find nearly zero debate. As for the gross overrepresentation of Jews on the Court, I detect nearly no debate whatsoever.
Catholics throughout the United States need to lobby the White House to appoint Justice Scalia’s successor from among practicing Catholics engaged in juridical activities. Scalia’s death reduces the number of Catholics currently serving at the Supreme Court to five justices. This number of Catholic justices is the highest number of Catholics serving as both Chief Justice and Associate Justices in the history of the United States. Traditionally, Catholic Justices represent a mediating factor when the High Court makes decisions, other Justices tend to be conservative in their rulings. At this time, the remaining Catholic justices serving on the court are judicial moderates. Strong consideration by President Obama is recommended to anchor the Supreme Court with a Catholic Conservative in the same interpretive manner as the late Justice Scalia.
Catholic influence on the Supreme Court was not always so apparent, until the presidency of Ronald Reagan, It should also be noted that it was during the presidency of Ronald Reagan that the United States established full diplomatic relations with the Holy See for the first time since the inception of the United States.
Yes, this all began with Reagan. All our Presidents since Reagan have kow towed to the Catholic Church and Mecca’s despotic rulers. And obeyed Israel. No American beginning with Reagan, has run this country for the majority of the citizens who are not Jewish, Catholic nor Muslim. We are lectured daily about how evil we non-Jews/Catholics/Muslims we are and many of the 50% are tricked into thinking their culture and beliefs are stupid or evil.
In today’s news about the grossly unrepresentative Court I see stories chiding the 50% by telling us we are a MINORITY. This is PROPAGANDA by our ruling elites who are very scared that this 50% might wake up and lobby Congress to represent them, not the minorities. Most blacks are Protestants and they get a bone thrown to them but they are only 12% of the population, white Protestants are the biggest of all religious groups. But non-religious are as big a group as Protestants. Zero representation for us.
Will our politicians or media owners or Presidential candidates or President mention the need to represent the majority of us? So far, they are all silent. This has to stop. But then, nothing stupid they are doing stops.
