Harvard University Discriminates Against Asians

Donovan Livingston’s Harvard Graduate School of Education Student Speech – YouTube

Welcome to yet another episode in ‘Turn Back The Clock.’  Graduate Students To Hold First-Ever Black Commencement as reported by The Harvard Crimson.  Harvard is one of the Super Liberal Schools.  It trains our rulers’ kiddies.  It also is doing very stupid things such as this new move to isolate ‘black’ students from the rest and have a segregated graduation ceremony.

The graduation video from last year is all about ‘chains’ and ‘slavery’ and ‘privilege’ and this young man will get a university job because they are dying for more ‘articulate’ young black males to be politically correct.

But that isn’t enough.  Now, these same students don’t want to graduate with white young adults, they want their own ceremony.

Since most end up in the school being chosen for skin color, not ability, this is actually a good thing.  Since the degrees are handed out to students who are not anywhere near as good as the non-black students, having them do it separate makes some horrible sense.

They got in via skin color and leave with…skin color and a piece of paper.

The event, called Black Commencement 2017, has more than 170 student and 530 guest sign-ups so far, according to the Boston Globe.

This story got lots of commentary in the last three days.  I sat on it because there were other pressing stories.  But now I have to weigh in.

Michael Huggins, president of the Harvard Black Graduate Student Alliance, began organizing the event after finishing his first year at the Kennedy School, where he noticed an absence of programming to connect black graduates across disciplines. Huggins completed his bachelor’s degree at Stanford from 2010, where he noted a “long tradition” of similar graduation ceremonies for black alumni.

So, the plan is to build black only networks.  Eh?  So much for ‘integration’.  I see segregation rising all over the place.  When the top students choose to radicalize themselves as separate but equal, they are actually unequal for they got in by walking over students who were the wrong skin color to get in a school that forces everyone else to work very hard to gain entry.

“I think there’s so many good opportunities to build networks, to build fellowship, to build community,” Huggins said. “This is an opportunity to hear stories that are often not told.”

That is a blatant lie.  All over America, the ‘story’ is being shouted nonstop these days.  It is quite deafening now.  The idea of ‘equality’ is being slaughtered.  Black students rely and plan on having a big leg up on tests and other things, can glide through high school and often do poorly in college which harms them.

They are not pushed to do their best.

Kristin A. Turner, president of the Harvard Black Law Students Association, said the event looks to help black students “claim our visibility” at the University, an institution that has historically been majority white.

The statistics are, the proportion of black students at this school are well above their proportion in society.  So they have a double leg up on others.  Asians, on the other hand, since they work very hard and are often very good, are PENALIZED and have to do three times more than black students and twice more than all other groups.

“We chose Black Commencement as not only a commemoration of all the different dynamics that go into being a person of color at Harvard University, but also a celebration of what an accomplishment it is to not only come out on the other side,” Turner said.

It is super easy to accomplish something when everyone is rolling out the red carpet and holding hands while Asian kids have to fight through barbed wire and jump very high to overcome deliberate barriers.

Four students, who will all graduate later this month, were selected to speak at the event and will highlight various parts of the black student experience at Harvard, according to Huggins and Courtney A. Woods, a student at the Graduate School of Education.

And this really angers Asian kids:  Rejected Asian students sue Harvard over admissions that favor other minorities.

Edward Blum, who runs the Project on Fair Representation, which filed the suit on behalf of Asian students who were rejected by the school, said it is a clear case of favoring certain racial groups over others.

Yes, it is very much racism.  Asians were discriminated heavily against during the exact same time period that black children were discriminated against.  But since Asian kids know how to work hard at intellectual things, they are now being…discriminated against, big time!

Harvard defended its admissions policy in an e-mailed statement to FoxNews.com.

“The College considers each applicant through an individualized, holistic review having the goal of creating a vibrant academic community that exposes students to a wide-range of differences: background, ideas, experiences, talents and aspirations,” wrote Robert Iuliano, Harvard’s general counsel.

Oh my, so they have to go to school with what?  Oh, all sorts of people and thus, the need to stomp on all geniuses who are very smart because of their skin color.  I could say more ugly things but my grandson is half Chinese and very smart and works hard in school and…will have to carry this gigantic burden across the finish line as schools fight to deny him his rightful place and push him down.

Others also defended the university’s diversity policy.

“Asian-American students benefit greatly from attending the racially and socio-economically diverse campuses that affirmative action helps create,” Julie Park, assistant professor of education at the University of Maryland and author of the book “When Diversity Drops,” told FoxNews.com.

So, kicking smart Asian kids out will help them with ‘diversity’???  How insane.  When I went to school during the Dark Ages of the 1960’s, I took every possible test and fought for all sorts of benefices and worked my ass off doing this, and no one gave me a hand up.  I had to fight my way up that mountain on my own, no crutches, no elevators to whisk me to my goal and it all was worthless anyways when they eliminated my entire field between 1972 and 1982.

The thing here is, if ‘discrimination’ is evil then it is EVIL whenever it happens.  Telling one groups of people, ‘You don’t have to study hard, you are black’ they become increasingly weak and useless.

Tell the others, ‘You must climb the mountain while carrying someone on your back who doesn’t have to work hard’ is slavery.  Yes, the Chinese were treated as slaves in the 19th century and Mao oppressed them hideously in the 20th century and many went through more than one hell because of history so the excuse that they had it easy is insane.

My family always had Chinese friends including scientists from China and I had Chinese live with me in the 1980s to learn about our country and they all were smart, hard working, very hard working and desperate to learn as much as possible.

Punishing them all for this is insane.  We should emulate them, not kick them in the shins and tell them, ‘Discrimination is OK if you are not black.’  The facts about slavery makes this particularly evil.

I disagree. It makes perfect sense to penalize Asian students while giving Blacks a handicap, since their disparate academic results are almost entirely attributable to genetics alone.

When an Asian kid scores high on a standardized test, it isn’t strictly a reflection of personal merit, but rather of inherent racial advantage. Likewise, the low scores of Black students should be assessed with consideration of their innate racial impediment.

I fault neither the Blacks nor the Orientals for being born the way they are, but I do think the places should be awarded based on personal merit, not necessarily solely to those with the highest numerical scores.

Your words to God’s ears. 🙂

Subject/ verb agreement……Harvard GRADUATE degree holder…..hmmmmmmm. When I was a freshman in high school I’d have gotten dressed down good and proper for using that kind of grammar. Is there anything they do not destroy or vulgarize? Just axin!

You are addressing the elephant in the room which everyone denies or pretends not to notice. Racial IQ is rooted in genetics. Asians and the Ashkenazi Jews are superior in IQ among all other racial groups. This is a documented fact. Blacks are the very lowest. No fault of theirs, just the way the genetic lottery cookie crumbles.

Of course, IQ is not the sole answer to one person’s success in life. I have two neighbors who are members of the Mensa society, and although they have superior intellect, make some rather stupid (at least to me) life choices.

So genetics do play a role, but so also do strict adherence to discipline and a strong moral code. All three of these factors are severely lacking in the black community as a whole. It is therefore unsurprising to see this group of Harvard idiots smirking their way through their graduate degree ceremonies as they enter a highly complex, 21st century world which has little room for self impressed individuals who have neither the inclination nor the drive to become anything other than a corporate or state welfare recipient. Sadly, our government has been rewarding this behavior for over fifty years.

With AA, those degrees are gold. [black gold]. My local college has a Black Female [its called a ‘two fer’–2 minorities fer the price a one] PRESIDENT
    Who was a diversity counselor.

    Useless Blacks in the school system with a degree or 2 and a bad attitude, well;

A few brave professors are fighting back in the heart of the beast.

That college has outsourced to a Florida firm the hiring of a Diversity Vice President who will make six figures plus fat perks and extras/benefits. Finalists are a beaner, a featherhead, and a groid.

Or so I heard–I have nothing to do with the place, but some ladies who drink at my favorite pub work there and are sick of the DiversiReligion. They are, by the way, black, and hate this whole equity thing with a passion.

As everyone knows, American campuses are unfair to black students, even though universities such as Harvard spot them a handicap of a robust 450 SAT points compared to Asian applicants and 290 points compared to white students.

Clearly ungrateful at being offered such a generous (if humiliating) leg up on the competition, black students at Harvard have announced they’re holding a “black-only” graduation event later this month. Black student Courtney Woods says there “is a legacy of slavery, epistemic racism and colonization at Harvard, which was an institution founded to train rising imperialist leaders.”

But not only do black college students have to struggle with epistemic racism that ignores their needs in favor of the needs of rising imperialist leaders, they also must endure the pain and humiliation of observing bananas hanging from lampposts and trees along with the words “HARAMBE BAIT” in a painful reminder that many racist Americans used to claim that black people are apes who enjoy eating bananas.

This shocking incident happened last week at DC’s American University, where the prank bananas were hung all over campus in an apparent protest over the fact that a black girl was elected president of the school government. In a gesture of reconciliation and healing, minority students at the school were informed on Friday that they can postpone taking their final exams until they have emotionally recovered from the banana incident.

A racist note containing the actual “N” word that was found at Minnesota’s St. Olaf College led to hysterical cries of rage and a school shutdown. It turned out to be a hoax, but the school president reminded everyone that it at least focused attention on the endless racism and hatred and bullying that the perennially underachieving “N” words at the school must face on a daily—and sometimes even hourly—basis.

And because everyone knows that blacks on college campuses endure pain on a level it’s impossible to know unless you’re black, a black professor of Critical Race Theory at Texas A&M was not fired when it was recently revealed that in 2011 he gave an interview in which he made the following statement:

In order to be equal, in order to be liberated, some white people might have to die.

In his own defense, Dr. Tommy Curry said that his statement needs to be understood in its historical context—a historical context which apparently justifies the killing of whites in the name of black liberation.

For a brief period last week, the University of Arizona was offering students part-time jobs as “Social Justice Advocates.” At a hefty pay rate of $10 an hour, students were tasked with “instituting monthly programmatic efforts within the residence halls that focus specifically on social justice issues” and are encouraged to “report any bias incidents or claims to appropriate Residence Life staff,” effectively making them Soviet-style commissars of policing thoughtcrimes. After an initial outcry, the university reneged on the job offer.

My prediction is that this stupid reverse discrimination in favour of blacks will cause a brain drain. Smart Asians will leave America all together. This will weaken America in the long term. This falls under the ‘duh’ category frequently used by Elaine.

  9. Nani

This is in essence a dumbing down of society.

  10. floridasandy

Asians generally don’t complain and just deal with adversity-maybe it’s just the way they were raised .My mom’s Chinese friend used to joke that God made people like cookies-one turned out too light, one turned out too dark, and one turned out a lovely golden brown.:) Her kids excelled academically and got great jobs after they graduated. Their drive won’t be hindered by a little more adversity. .

School vouchers are the answer to the questions that haven’t been asked yet, as well as debt forgiveness and no more government guarantees. Now some loans are being used for vacations etc, and not related to education at all. Watch school choices rise and school prices drop with more options.

    It’s coming..

  11. The people who work the hardest to get into schools are penalized as those who glide along are rewarded. This always ends very badly.

On the other hand, the vet school bill after WWII pulled many men like my father in law into universities instead of working in factories and he became a scientist with many awards for inventions in the field of chemistry.

It was a great thing, the GI school bill.

  12. Petruchio

@#13 Elaine. Absolutely CORRECT!!! Elaine. The GI Bill is a good example of how a ‘gubmint’ program really can do some good! And while we’re at it, let’s not forget about the GI Housing Bill, a Bill that got veterans deals on their housing….

    @ 11

1,746 Americans were asked to locate North Korea on the map… 36% got it right:

  14. Christian W

Hard to believe it is 36% tho looking at that map hmm :p

  15. floridasandy

oh Christian, Americans are so stupid right?

It’s amazing we got as far as we did, considering how dumb we must be. 🙂

Maybe you could learn that we already know-THE MEDIA LIES ABOUT AMERICA.

  16. Lou

Harvard affirmative action admission submits rap album “on what it means to be black in America” as senior thesis in, get this, not African American studies or some other sociological major, but English!

  17. And I wrote about that business in the past when one was let into a top school with an ‘essay’ that was ‘black lives matter’ over and over again.

  18. Christian W

    @ 17 Sandy

I was remiss in not giving the link. Here it is with further information:

“Not surprisingly, education was a major factor in participants’ ability to find North Korea. Those with postgraduate degrees had among the most success; the only ones who did better were people who said they knew someone of Korean ancestry. Those who had visited or been to a foreign country were also much more likely to find North Korea than those who had not.

However what was far more surprising according to the Morning Consult survey, is that on average, Republicans – and Republican men in particular – were more likely to correctly locate North Korea than Democratic men. And Republicans were more likely to be in favor of almost all the diplomatic solutions posed by the researchers. (Women tended to find North Korea at similar rates, regardless of party.)”

  19. US males died fighting that entity. BTW, I fixed one erroneous letter in the above post.

I saw that news story about not being able to find any Korea, much less, North. Sad, isn’t it?

  20. Lou

an ‘essay’ that was ‘black lives matter’ over and over again.
That is the essence of RAP [cRap ‘music’].

Oh, Harvard has a Hip Hop Museum. Gates [thats how they treat a Black man in America] runs it.
