Many US Political Leaders Want To Make Trade Deals For Themselves, To Hell With US Citizens And Trade Deficits

Founding Fathers – Episodes 1 & 2 – YouTube

So, we recently had an election and because the liberals lost, they have decided to tear up the Constitution, run off in various directions willfully and in general, cause chaos and mayhem and lots of screaming about every little thing while breaking many laws and conspiring to destroy democracy.  That is, they hate the Republic, they want Maoist sort of rule where someone orders everyone else, what they can or cannot do and no free speech, either.

Treason is the next step since assassinating Trump merely means a GOP anti-liberal would take over:  Going Around Trump, Governors Embark on Their Own Diplomatic Missions – The New York Times

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Gov. Jay Inslee of Washington, a Democrat, huddled with the leaders of Mexico and Canada in the space of 48 hours this spring, racing to Mexico City from Seattle for back-to-back discussions on climate change and trade.

We have a TRADE DEFICIT with both Canada and Mexico.  This clown is running around determined to continue this.  I call this treason.  As for ‘climate change’…this is a manic belief system which liberals embrace because I suppose, they don’t remember the 1970s which were rather cold.

Gov. Asa Hutchinson of Arkansas, a Republican, toured Europe last month to deliver what he called a “reassuring” message to business leaders, declaring that Americans would not “retreat” from international commerce.

TREASON!  We run trade deficits with nearly everyone.  This clown is demanding we continue this dangerous, fatal course.

And Gov. Pete Ricketts, Republican of Nebraska, recently announced he would visit Canada this summer with a message of thanks — for the North American Free Trade Agreement, a pact that President Trump has harshly criticized and says he intends to renegotiate.

I bet he and the other GOP pro-trade deficit gang all belong to the secret societies who view the US as a thing to rape and exploit, not nurture and strengthen.

Unsettled by the president’s skepticism of foreign trade, governors have made newly pointed appeals to international businesses and consumers, at times gently rebuking the White House for presenting an inhospitable face to the world.

And this is treason.  I am puzzled as to how this action which harms the US in fundamental ways, is tolerated by the media…HAHAHA…the media giants are all traitors and some of them are founders of the Bilderberg gang and many of them hold Israel dearer than the US and give Israel everything the Jews want while telling us, the same exact things like a wall to keep out people, is evil.

After Mr. Trump rejected the Paris climate agreement, a dozen governors announced a state-level coalition to carry out the pact in a partial form, with Gov. Jerry Brown of California, a Democrat, taking a leading role and traveling to China for a meeting on climate with President Xi Jinping.

I really would absolutely love to freeze California.  The problem is, if anyone here copies California, we really really will freeze to death.  China is most anxious to freeze us all to death.  It is part of their 50 year plan and Trump wrecks this.

Mr. Hutchinson, who did not join the climate alliance, said Mr. Trump’s posture on trade had worried traditional United States partners. He credited the president with having “strengthened our negotiating position,” but said gestures of comity were also important.

ALL our ‘allies’ exploit us and nearly uniformly run trade surpluses with us.  Naturally, they want more of this forever until we go bankrupt.

“I do take advantage of the opportunity to reassure the European audiences, but also the Asian audiences, that global trade cannot be diminished,” Mr. Hutchinson said. “It’s part of the fabric of our global commerce, and I want to continue to be a voice for it.”

I would like to arrest Mr. Hutchinson and charge him with treason.  Yes, red ink from US taxpayers is the very fabric of world trade and it is a death shroud.  I am puzzled as to why this clown can’t see the obvious end to all this.  Do these idiots really think we can run trade deficits forever?  That is infantile.

In addition, aides to a number of governors, including Mr. Brown and Mr. Inslee, conferred privately to plan for a climate conference in Bonn, Germany. Mr. Trudeau framed his remarks to the group as a tribute to the relationship between the United States and Canada, highlighting shared goals on climate and national security, and urging governors not to support a “race to the bottom” in the form of trade protectionism. Using the same favorable adjectives most American governors apply to themselves, Mr. Trudeau hailed them for pursuing economic prosperity with a “pragmatic approach that crosses party lines.”

Canadians who want free goodies voted for Trudeau and didn’t take seriously his deep plan to freeze them all to death.  All global warm cycles end with Canada rapidly being buried under a MILE of ice.  Every time, even Russia won’t be encased in mile deep ice, the only major country to suffer this future fate is Canada.

“Whether Republican or Democrat, in this economy, that’s likely your very first priority,” he said. “Guess what: It’s my first priority as well.”  The Canadian leader’s friendship mission followed months of stepped-up contact between American governors and Canadian political and business leaders after Mr. Trump’s election.

They really think they can do as they please, to hell with the rest of the US citizens.s  Indeed, this is where the roots of a very nasty civil war resides.  People in very warm states that have been invaded by illegal aliens will attack cold climate states, for example.

Gov. Phil Scott of Vermont, who has made multiple trips across the Canadian border since his election in November, said he had made it a priority to put the state’s longstanding economic partner at ease.

Vermont was under a mile of ice, too.  This summer up here right next to Vermont, has been cool and very wet.  Today was mildly hot for once, we even had some sunshine.  The ups and downs on climate have been turned into a cartoon with fake data and poor forecasts that don’t match reality, but the liberal fear of warmth will be their fatal end, if we go into an even colder cycle than the 1970s, I could see real fury against ‘global warming’ liberals.

Mr. McAuliffe said he had recently returned from a seven-country swing through Europe, where at every turn leaders battered him with questions about Mr. Trump’s policies on trade and immigration.

They are worried that their free ride might end.  They want the status quo which benefits them and wrecks the USA.

Gov. Kate Brown of Oregon, a Democrat, said Mr. Trump’s policies on trade and climate had jeopardized the interests of her state, which is heavily invested in exporting electronics and agricultural goods to Canada and East Asia. “There is a sense of urgency for me, in terms of Oregon’s economy,” she said.

Oregon imports $17 billion and exports $20 billion so they have a $3 billion profit here.  I can see why they want to continue but this begs the issue of all the rest of the country not doing this.  This is mainly due to Oregon’s electronic exports which may diminish over time since Asia is set on dominating this field.  The main thing is, Oregon is part of the USA and destroying our nation so they can benefit is not a good choice.

Ms. Brown said she plans to attend the November climate summit meeting in Germany, after attending a meeting last month — convened in California by Mr. Brown — with the prime minister of Fiji, Frank Bainimarama, who is a key United Nations climate official.

Some readers disagreed with the NY Times rage about Trump’s policies and their desire to freeze us to death and bankrupt America

Article I, Section 8:

The Congress will have power to regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes;

2: No State shall, without the Consent of the Congress, lay any Imposts or Duties on Imports or Exports, except what may be absolutely necessary for executing it’s inspection Laws: and the net Produce of all Duties and Imposts, laid by any State on Imports or Exports, shall be for the Use of the Treasury of the United States; and all such Laws shall be subject to the Revision and Control of the Congress.

3: No State shall, without the Consent of Congress, lay any Duty of Tonnage, keep Troops, or Ships of War in time of Peace, enter into any Agreement or Compact with another State, or with a foreign Power, or engage in War, unless actually invaded, or in such imminent Danger as will not admit of delay.

U.S.-China trade scorecard: advantage China

The U.S. shipped $116 billion of goods to China in 2016, making it the third largest export market after Canada and Mexico, according to the Department of Commerce. But that figure pales compared to the $463 billion in imports from China. The result is a U.S. trade deficit of $347 billion, the largest of any U.S. trading partner.

Canada is currently our 2nd largest goods trading partner with $544.0 billion in total (two way) goods trade during 2016. Goods exports totaled $266.0 billion; goods imports totaled $278.1 billion. The U.S. goods trade deficit with Canada was $12.1 billion in 2016.

Under Trump now, US trade deficit falls as exports hit two-year high which I would suggest is a good thing, no?  But never fear, the US media giants are freaking out, what if Trump fails?  Of course, all are toiling hard to insure he fails:  Trump’s New China Deal May Increase U.S. Trade Deficit according to a Chinese writer working for Forbes Magazine.

Here’s a slightly off topic article from ZH, about how our bleeding heart liberal concern for freedom and democracy and kittens and puppies has showered down love on Iraq:
“Shocking” Before And After Satellite Photos From Mosul

I don’t know how much it cost to “liberate” Mosul from the ISIS terrorists we inflicted on the place (if Saddam was still alive, he would have simply had the terrorists rounded up and shot), but you can bet it was done on the taxpayer’s dime.

How many carbon credits did the Pentagon and CIA buy so they could justify this ‘liberation’?

Inslee is an idiot for Washington. They are racking up HUGE fines because they can’t even agree on education:
Washington state now has racked up $67 million in daily fines over lawmakers’ failure to fully fund public schools.
That big-dollar figure hasn’t proven much of a motivator so far. Right now, the Legislature is trudging through a second special session, still unable to agree on a new two-year budget that fixes how the state pays for K-12 education.

    Read more here:

wonder who gets all that fine money? What a WASTE for the taxpayers. I expect to see an outflow from Washington soon enough.

    Ex-Haitian government official commits suicide

“MIAMI, United States (CMC) — A former official in the Haiti government, Klaus Eberwein was found dead in a motel room here on Tuesday with a gunshot wound to the head.

According to police reports, Eberwein’s body was discovered in a room at a Quality Inn hotel in South Dade.

The incident has been ruled a suicide by the Miami-Dade medical examiner’s office.”

“He was scheduled to before the Haitian Senate’s Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission on Tuesday – the commission is investigating the management of PetroCaribe funds, the money Haiti receives from Venezuela’s discounted oil program”

in case anybody didn’t know why Vince Foster was murdered, here it is:

the Clinton crime family really doesn’t want to go to jail. The daughter is stealing money from the alleged charity and has the balls to criticize anybody? Why is she ever interviewed for anything? These pigs have been at the public trough for too long

  5. They feed at the BILDERBERG GANG trough. Not the public. Obama does this, too. Million dollar ‘speeches’ are the favorite bribery tool. ‘Publishing books’ is the other one.

a previous Clinton suicide. He exposed the Clintons and paid a penalty:

he was 53 years old, I believe.

I doubt if too many Americans buy any of the Clinton books, just like the Obama books and Bush books. They probably buy them in bulk with their foundation money and pocket it.

In the BBC article “Tales from the new Silk Road”

…..this part about a British businessman in China really stood out.

“Nigel says the roads and rail lines planned for the new Silk Road will mean even more Yiwu goods heading west. But despite China’s promise that it will be a win-win scenario for China [and] its trading partners, he’s less optimistic about goods travelling back into China. Customs red tape still makes importing a nightmare, he says.

“The government can change the law any time, so there’s no real concrete law,” he adds.

But Nigel is pragmatic. He’s a trader after all, and it’s not his problem whether all win equally on China’s new Silk Road. Soon he’s back to hunting for the best fidget spinner.

“When I sleep I dream of spinners. And then a customer phones from the other side of the world, waking me up and begging for more.”

So American politicians are just like this British trader. They pretend that as long as someone, somewhere, in the U.S. is making a little bit of money off of China, then the huge trade deficit is worth it.

/ Hot air is cheap when selling and dear when buying, at a million dollars a speech.
