Europe is whining about the US Congress trade embargo on Russia. Good! They want WWIII why are they whining about it? They hate Trump and cheer anyone who defies him so Congress is egged into defying Trump and preventing diplomacy with Russia so Europe gets to be destroyed by WWIII and ditto in spades for Japan.
Japan is likely to impose emergency tariffs on frozen beef from the United States starting next month in response to a spike in imports, a government source said Wednesday.
We have run trade deficits with Japan for the last 70 years. The Japanese are furious if it is even slightly reduced. Ditto, Germany and a lot of our fake allies. They want us in debt to them all while protecting them from Russia and China.
The measure, designed to protect domestic farmers from sudden increases in imports, would remain in place until March 2018, raising tariffs from the current 38.5% to 50%, the source said.
The US should immediately put a 50% tariff on all Japanese trade.
Japan responded in a similar manner to a jump in U.S. beef imports between August 2003 and March 2004.
Note how Bush Jr did nothing.
The government will make a final decision when it confirms an import surge in its trade statistics for June, to be released by the Finance Ministry on Friday.
So, we have time to declare a trade war with Japan. Good. I hope Trump does this.
The move comes ahead of a high-level economic dialogue between Japanese Deputy Prime Minister Taro Aso and U.S. Vice President Mike Pence being arranged for later this year.

The US will never start a trade war with Japan, because Japan is considered as America’s most valuable ally in a potential war against China. That is the reason why Japan gets special treatment.
The message seems to be: if you’re an ally of America, you can do whatever you want. The US elites are more than willing to pay the price.
So if you’re tired of being ripped of when it comes to trade, blame it on your stupid rulers. I guess Trump tried to change this, but he failed.
Trying to force countries to take in criminal immigrants and potential terrorists is just pure evil. Those EU-bureaucrats should be prosecuted for treason against innocent Europeans. Almost no one wants these immigrants in their countries.
