Senator Dick Durbin Demanded End of Chain Migration Before Trump

Watch: Dick Durbin Advocated for Ending ‘Chain Migration’ in 2010, a Term He Now Says is Racist – Breitbart:

The DNC was all for ending chain migration when running for office recently but since Trump won, they want open borders and more migrants moving into dying DNC run cities.  Dick Durbin is the one who told the press about Trump saying what DNC Presidents have said in the past about illegal aliens and people from the third world especially Haiti, a top ‘non functioning country’ along with most of Africa.  The mainstream media pretends we don’t have web searches to find out what happened in the recent or greater past.  They want to remake reality daily and claim this was always the reality which is straight out of Orwell’s 1984 dictatorship’s activities.

Running alongside the hysteria about Trump telling the truth, we have the scandal of Twitter which was silencing everyone who isn’t totally California Liberal PC SWJ politics:

I include here the Bitcoin scam.  HAHAHA.  This fake ‘money’ isn’t even usable when Bitcoin believers are trying to do business with each other!  They want real money when selling their scam ‘money’.  Note how it is always illustrated with solid metal coins to make these computer codes ‘real’.

Also, Austria is joining much of Eastern Europe to keep out the very same people the US media giants are yelling at Trump for characterizing them as ‘sh!thole’.

In 2010, Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) advocated on the Senate floor for ending the process known as “chain migration,” whereby newly naturalized citizens can bring an unlimited number of foreign relatives to the U.S., a term that he now claims insinuates racism.

While asking Congress to pass the expansive and failed “DREAM Act” amnesty, which would start by legalizing millions of illegal aliens, Durbin touted the fact that the legislation at the time would have ended chain migration, preventing newly amnestied illegal aliens from bringing their extended family members to the U.S.

“The DREAM Act would not allow what is known as chain migration,” Durbin said. “In fact, DREAM Act students would have very limited ability to sponsor their family members for legal status.”

Durbin, though, is now attacking Trump for popularizing the term “chain migration,” claiming the technical immigration term that he has previously used is offensive to African-Americans, as Breitbart News reported:

That was the nature of this conversation. When it came to the issue of, quote, “chain migration,” I said to the president, do you realize how painful that term is to so many people? African-Americans believe they migrated to America in chains and when you talk about chain migration, it hurts them personally.

So, this DNC Senator who needs black voters on the plantation to keep himself on the Bilderberg list of ‘people to bribe’ is angry because the term ‘chain migration’ reminds his political slaves that they are slaves?

70% of immigrants are chain migration families.  It used to be called ‘family reunification’.  I was directly involved in some ‘family reunification’ cases in New York City many years ago and I had to go to the Federal Building in lower Manhattan and swear the family would not go on welfare.  Today, they cheerfully go on welfare and park as many as possible on welfare.

Under Obama, this was opened up like floodgates in order to bring in DNC voters.  This is the #1, #2 and #3 reasons the DNC supports endless armies of aliens coming here and moving into our dying former functional cities that are no longer used to be productive like say, Detroit, once the diamond in the crown of cities in the 1950s.  Now, it is a ruined wasteland.

And the outrage atgtainst Trump continues. More so than usual. Let’s step back and look at the big picture.

First, Trump is not a politician. He does not speak in bland, unemotionally charged language. He speaks his mind. Second, he is not politically correct. The matters he talks about are not those sanctioned by the political left, and do not support the left’s agenda.

So, if we ignore the way in which Trump said what he said, and look only at the substance, what do we have?

For most of the existence of the United States of America an immigration policy was pursued, and statutorily mandated, that only people with a similar cultural background should come into the country. People who would (in time) blend into the American culture through the “melting pot.” The currency of the US still carries the latin phrase “e pluribus unum” as a holdover from that time. Literally, “out of many, one.”

In the mid-60s senator Ted Kennedy convinced the country to change the immigration laws and throw open the doors to everyone in the world. As a result, whites (who made up 92% of the population in the 1960 census) are expected to become a minority in their own country in just a couple of decades. No one voted to become a minority, but it is just sort of happening because it is politically incorrect to object.

With that background in mind, what Trump is really saying is: (1) the current immigration system instigated by Ted Kennedy (with the best of intentions) is not working and in fact is counter-productive. (2) Why don’t we consider going back to the immigration policies followed by the country so successfully for over two hundred years?

When Trump’s query is presented in non-Trump language, it presents a legitimate argument that strikes at the heart of the liberal agenda. That is why the furor is not subsiding. Trump’s comments are a direct threat to one of the key ideologies underpinning the liberal left.

  2. And they are all hypocrites. The GOP Bilderberg gangster, Sen. Lindsey Graham attacked Trump for his honest words but…called MEXICO a HELL HOHLE just 5 years ago!

1- Ted Kennedy is quoted as saying ‘5000 will enter USA’ [no more]…now 170? million later, USA is in bad shape.
Jews were behind LBJ and TK.
Celler and Javits, and others. That horrid poem on the Statue of Liberty…haha. This is all by design.
The same leftists who like that poem …’m not so upset about Trump’s “sh*thole” comment — the poem on the Statue of Liberty refers to immigrants as “refuse,” after all.
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.

The Statue of Liberty is precisely that. The only thing that should be removed is the so-called poem/plaque which transformed the symbol into the immigration-thingy most people think she is. You can, again, thank the poetess for her efforts.

The top 10 origination countries of immigrants into the USA in 2014 & 2015:
    1. Mexico
    2. China
    3. India
    4. Philippines
    5. Cuba
    6. Dominican Rep.
    7. Vietnam
    8. Iraq
    9. El Salvador
    10. Pakistan
In case you failed geography, there is not one European country on this list!
El Salvador, with one of the highest murder rates and lowest IQs in the world, is a sh*thole country because of El Salvadorans, not earthquakes….They have to go back.

  4. Lou

Logic indicates that, if these slums are so lovely, why do people move here?

  5. Oguy

“In case you failed geography, there is not one European country on this list!”

Why would most Europeans want to migrate to the US, absent any unique personal reasons for doing so? I’m not arguing that Europe is better than North America, or vice-versa, although it may be for some people and not for others– but it seems to me that citizens of the countries you enumerated would have far more compelling reasons to migrate than Europeans would; the more that sizeable parts of some countries are mired in abject poverty and squalor, together with widespread corruption and exploitation, the greater the incentive. Any Westerner who has traveled to such locales would have no difficulty recognizing this.

Along other lines, it’s amusing that Durbin criticized Trump for using the “chain” metaphor when Trump was in fact using it pejoratively. Does Durbin recognize how ridiculous he’s making himself sound by seizing that opportunity? Or does the DNC culture now demand such silliness?

Also, kudos to Austria for beginning to assert its independence from Big Sister (Germany) and implementing a more sensible immigration policy.

Ken– great post. My primary issue isn’t about whiteness vs. brown, black, etc., but I do care greatly about upholding civilizational standards and human values, and maintaining the essential integrity of each national culture (not merely my own) in the face of the lowest common denominator deracination we see occuring today. This has nothing to do with promoting any kind of racial isolationism– all great cultures have been the result of cross-pollination to some degree, and successful to the extent that this mixing of cultural currents has been held in check and balance so as not to undermine the integrity of the whole. If all of us, those of European extraction included, were to assume responsibility for cultivating these our shared humanity, and emphasizing what is best and most noble in each of our respective cultures, there would be no problem to discuss. Unfortunately, that is not the case today, and perhaps never was.

OK, enough of my scribblings for the time being …

@#3Lou: Good list, but did you notice something about that list? Most of those countries have people who breed like rabbits!! I’m serious. China? Are they pushing 2 Billion people yet? India? Another top nation for population growth. Mexicans like to have big families. Alot of those countries you list are Catholic. You know, a religion that preaches about “No Contraception Allowed!”. The Philippines, likewise. What’s amazing to me is these people ALL come from countries where their NATIVE govt. could not care less if they die of starvation, but when these SAME people come here they almost ALL have this huge sense of entitlement from Uncle Sam. I’m aware of how much these folks get with their EBT cards. They get housing subsidies. The whole point of this “open Borders” policy is to destroy Whites as a Race AND their cultural heritage.

Trump’s battlecry MAGA really is an euphemism for MAWA, is it not?

  8. Lou

7–yes. AND WHY NOT? YOU ARE WHITE, have you been to Congo?

6—India may be the first country w 2 billion. Or China or India may already be at 2 billion.

  9. Fliridasandy

    cautionary tale
Florida just let a bunch of Puerto Riicans in after the hurricane because their corrupt self-serving politicians refuse to fix their infrastructure. Three of them, admitted December 37, just killed a woman for a thrill kill. ( after they realized she wasn’t the woman they wanted to kill!). Now they are entering our penal system

How much more crazy do you need, you liberal jackasses. ??????

Keep those people in the countries that spawn them

  10. The Chinese who come here nearly always want to work and get rich working this includes my own family. The Chinese are a net benefit for the US over time and usually are very conservative, too. They don’t even trust banks. They want law and order, over time unlike say, the black community.

  11. Lou

10–You are entitled to your ‘Kumbaya’ fantasy.
China has 1-2 billion people, so once you open the floodgate, byebye America. ‘How many millions you want?’

    There was a reported talk,
Jimmy Carter, to Chinese Czar, have an ‘open door policy’
Chinaman, ‘How many millions you want?’

I know a gal, born in China. She confided in me, ‘Jews and Chinese are horrible to work for,’

    And I found this,
chinese—They are not starving. They eat every creature that moves, even scorpions,
They are cruel beyond measure. They skin dogs while alive.
    Disgusting race.
Lisa ling, well thats not the first rescue the Clintons did, Bill Clinton had helped 2 young South Korean women about 20 years ago when the women were caught trying to remove South Korean children from that country…..#ChildSexTrade #ChildTrafficking #BringDownTheRing

  12. Lou

    9–
Florida just let a bunch of Puerto Ricans in —PRs dont need a visa to enter mainland, tmk. PR is a protectorate.
    They flew in.

  13. Petruchio

I can give you a local spin to this “immigration” problem. I live in the Twin Cities, MN area. More and more I’m seeing people from Illinois in retail establishments everywhere. You can always tell. They were identifying clothing items such as Chicago Black Hawks caps or University of Illinois sweatshirts. That kind of thing. So…. these fine folks from Illinois vote into office corrupt politicians year after year. And then, when the proverbial sh#t hits the fan and the State of Illinois goes bankrupt, they just pull up stakes and move to another State! ALOT of Californians are doing the same thing–moving to other States. These are Classic examples for why there should be some Rules for qualifying for State Social welfare benefits. People from Illinois shouldn’t be allowed to F#ck up their own State and then when things get bad just split the scene. This kind of thing can cause a chain reaction. The Math here is REALLY simple. If you put ever greater expenses for Social Benefits programs on fewer and fewer people, the WHOLE SYSTEM is going to fail. I’m guessing that has been The Plan all along with our Elites.
