Trump Wins Big In Tariff Fight With China As I Expected

Trump tweets China will do the ‘right thing’ on trade – YouTube

As I predicted, the trade war would end quickly when the Chinese figure out they run a huge trade surplus and if our shores close, they go bankrupt.  No surprise here.  Even the Chinese have figured out the obvious.  Will liberals figure this out?  Will mainstream news report this?  Naw.  They can’t, they won’t, they are too inept to do any of this reality stuff.  Instead, they continue to focus on fake Syrian ‘attacks’ as per always.

China’s president promises to cut auto import tariff – Breitbart

President Xi Jinping has promised to cut China’s auto import tariffs and ease restrictions on foreign ownership in its auto industry amid an escalating tariff spat with Washington.

HAHAHA.  Sorry, I had to laugh.  This is so obvious.  The present leadership of China has replaced the Old Guard I used to interact with and it shows, they are so cocky and naive at the same time.

In a speech Tuesday at a business conference, Xi made no direct mention of the dispute with President Donald Trump but pledged to open China’s markets further and improve conditions for foreign companies.

Full surrender.  Talking tough works.  Duh.

Xi said Beijing will “significantly lower” tariffs on auto imports this year and ease restrictions on foreign ownership in the auto industry “as soon as possible.”

MEANWHILE, UK’s Top Doctor Demands Ban For “Killer” Kitchen Knives | Zero Hedge: more funny news.  England is now treating citizens like they are in an insane asylum and need to have blunt knives and forks, etc.  Instead of dealing with the criminal class and foreign agents who are violent, England wants to make everything helpless and infantile.

I hope the voters finally revolt.  You can bet, London’s Muslims aren’t disarming.   Harvard to interrogate profs accused of ‘microaggressions’ as our education system collapses into this pit from hell:

Though nearly one-third of all classes were flagged for at least one microaggression (48 out of 138 total classes), Turnbull said Harvard is only investigating classes that received at least three reports of microaggressions.

Wow, nearly all the classes are full of ‘rapists’ and other criminals?  HAHAHA.  Nope, this is all about hurt feelings based on some sort of impression that somone, somewhere has hurt one’s feelings somehow.  This is pure insanity. And it is totally the fault of thin skinned violent leftists who can’t handle real life and want to torture everyone around them.

Hmmm, whatever happened to the projected ‘no loss of face can be tolerated by either party, fight to the finish’ rhetoric?

Perhaps a tactical withdrawal, with events transpiring in the South China Sea.

  2. Christian W

So the Germans will be pleased with this news. China is already a bigger market for German auto makers than the US is. More OBOR partnerships.

  3. Moe

Greg Mannarino is not buying it. Can’t blame him for his sceptisism.

  4. Christian W

US imposed sanctions on Russia (for not being a US slave) is going to cost Germany € billions.

  5. Christian W

    @ 3

Yeah, like Mr. Mannarino I will believe how this plays out when I see it.

  6. Nani

So, let me get this straight. Washington always believes it has the right to take aggressive actions against other countries, damaging the interests of those countries. But when those countries finally takes reciprocal measures, the US whines that these measures are unacceptable and an affront.

Such an attitude from Washington is hypocritical, arrogant and intolerable. It certainly gives new meaning to the American claim of being an “exceptional nation” – exceptionally hubristic that is.

The arrogance of American unilateralism over trade bullying with China, and the senseless expulsion of diplomats with the ensuing sanctions on Russia, is a disastrous resort to “might is right”.

When such arrogant delusion has taken hold, it does not bode well for the future of the world. Because such an attitude violates the foundations of civilized multilateralism upon which international peace depends. This attitude will eventually lead to a real war at some point.

    Well put, Nani.

  8. Europe has erupted in major wars every 40-50 years. They can’t help it. This time, they want a war with nuclear armed Russia. Insane? Yup. Stupid? Very.

  9. Christian W

Germany to this day does not have a functional army. Germany still doesn’t have a proper Constitution Made in Germany: the effort dictated by the US post-WWII still serves.

Russia formed the Warsaw Pact in 1955 as a response to NATO, formed by the US in 1949.

Take the US out of NATO and there is, in practical terms, nothing serious left. That is the way most Europeans want it. There is zero interest in war. That said the NATO machine and the CIA specialize in finding lunatics and Russophobes to exploit, ie the Brzezinski Doctrine.

When the Old Guard was still alive in Europe, Chirac, Schröder (both opposed the invasion of Iraq) Europe still had some backbone and dared say no to the US. The US learnt from this mistake and after them we have seen spineless Ziotools like Sarkozy, Hollande, Macron and Merkel, joining the Blair-poodle in sycophancy.

The UK always was a special case though.

  12. Europe is collapsing internally, will probably cease to exist as we know it now, in 50 years or less since they have no idea how to maintain a society.

Latest tweet from the lunatic in the white house:

Good lord what a moron Trump is!

  14. Ken

This will be the defining moment of Trump’s presidency, and he will look like an idiot. And he is doing it to himself.

  15. Ken has an interesting article regarding Trump’s imminent attack on Syria. Charging in blindly and starting a war without Congressional approval for “humanitarian” reasons may very well be an impeachable offense.

Trump is handing his enemies the ammunition they need to finally get rid of him. No further need to focus on some one-night-stand 12 years ago. They will have him on legitimate grounds. And since Trump’s support is evaporating quickly over this, the Republicans will be certain to lose the mid-term elections. The Democrats will have the votes for impeachment, as well as the legal justification.

Either Trump is the idiot that the liberals have claimed, or he is getting very bad advice. Either way, for the first time I am sorry I voted for him. The swamp wins again.

  16. Christian W

    @ 12 & 13

The way Trump is doing things Europe will be lucky to have 5 years, let alone 5 months.

I don’t care if Trump is under threat by the Deep State or not. He is President which means he has to resist all such attacks. That is what it means to be a leader. But he is a spineless bully and will always attack people in a weaker position to save his own skin and make himself look “good”. So here we are, on the brink to nuclear WWIII.

Russia and Putin will not fold to Mafia style threats from America.

  17. Sunger

Here are two Trumps tweets that are minutes apart-

” Russia vows to shoot down any and all missiles fired at Syria. Get ready Russia, because they will be coming, nice and new and “smart!” You shouldn’t be partners with a Gas Killing Animal who kills his people and enjoys it!”
    — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 11, 2018

And then this comes minutes later…..

” Our relationship with Russia is worse now than it has ever been, and that includes the Cold War. There is no reason for this. Russia needs us to help with their economy, something that would be very easy to do, and we need all nations to work together. Stop the arms race?”
    — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 11, 2018

  18. Nani

“I just asked a source close to the Kremlin: “How real are the chances of war between the US and Russia right now?” They replied: “8 out of 10.” I don’t like those odds,” tweeted journalist Brian McDonald.

  19. Christian W

The US is very definitely going to commit a gigantic war crime and attack Syria itself. The likeliest scenario as I see it is a mass missile/bombing attack on all of Syria’s critical infrastructure, possibly combined with an attempt at killing Assad + family directly.

Russia now faces the option of declaring defeat and give up on Syria or shoot back. If Russia doesn’t stand up now when will it?

Putin understands that starting a shooting war is easier than finishing it. But at this point Russia will be screwed either way.

If Russia shoots back the US will use it as an excuse to further attack Russia to weaken it.

Either way Europe gets weakened and traumatised for no good reasons other than AngloZionist ambitions.

  20. Christian W

In a war scenario Russia may as well kick the UkroNazis out of Ukraine. No point in waiting for the US/NATO to build up further in Ukraine.

  21. Christian W

A hot major war in Ukraine would mean millions of refugees out of Western Ukraine into neighboring nations and Germany.

The root problem in all of this is always the US Empire as the driving factor.

  22. Christian W

Take the US Empire out of the equation and all problems are manageable. But nothing works when the Hegemon Empire is bent on chaos, division, subjugation and wars for profit.

  23. Melponeme_k

“Take the US Empire out of the equation and all problems are manageable”

ALL the globalists are in Brussels! How will taking the US out make a difference to anything going on in Europe? In fact it will HELP the globalists. Muslims will over run Europe. The globalists will go to their estates in New Zealand and let the Muslims attack Russia and Eastern Europe. Obviously they don’t think anyone in Europe or the UK will have the sand to take up arms and fight for their homeland.

  24. Christian W

Either Trump is the idiot that the liberals have claimed, or he is getting very bad advice

Both options + more is the correct answer.

The US might as well have Mussolini in charge for all the difference it would make.

  25. Christian W

    @ Mel

    No US no muscle.

The Globalists live off Wall Street and the City of London. The Brussel critters are just parasites sucking the tits of sugar daddy Kleptocrat billionaires and the MIC + banks.

Brussels grew out of Washington with NATO post-WWII. Brussels has no independent power.

  26. Christian W

The “Muslims” are allied with Britain and the US. It was the famous British patriot Churchill who empowered both Wahhabism and Zionism.

  27. Moe

    @20 CW

“In a war scenario Russia may as well kick the UkroNazis out of Ukraine.”

No-one fights a two-front war if avoidable. Russia has very long supply line to Syria: without firm support from Turkey it’s going to be a difficult engagement. Extending hostilities simultaneously to Ukraine would be hazardous. The Exceptional State might not give Russia an option.

I have difficulty envisioning US-Israel limiting their war effort to Syria. Their intent would be Syria first, then if successful, Lebanon and Iran. They might hit Lebanon in conjunction with Syria.

  28. Moe

Looks like Gold is getting the ‘fear’ bid. This is not in response to US dollar movement.

  29. Christian W

Russia’s military position in Syria is tactically hopeless. They have a very small force there, a fraction of what the US has available. Rather, Syria is a trip wire for Russia. It is not a question of Russia fighting off the Barbarian Hordes in Syria when Big Daddy ISIS comes with force, what is important is the act of resisting the US Hegemon directly.

The US Hegemon is not stupid. They don’t want to see a nuclear war. But they want to crush Syria and put Russia in a box simultaneously. Win win for them, destruction for Russia. If Russia is cornered and have nothing to lose they will, naturally, go for all the advantages they can.

If the US is allowed to pursue regime change operations, then so is Russia.

At this moment in time the ball lies with Trump. He can stand up and be a real President. Or he can be Mickey Mouse Trumpolini.

  30. Christian W

    @ 27 Moe

I agree they will at the very least also hit Lebanon at the same time. Quite likely Iran as well as the Hegemon moved up heavy bombers within range a couple of weeks ago.

Russia, according to twitter, just landed planes in Iran today. (twitter today).

A few weeks ago the US sent Tillerson and another State Dept “diplomat” to talk to the Lebanese President Aoun. The US/Israel ordered Lebanon to hand over oil and gas fields to Israel. Lebanon told the US to stuff it. We all know that means US bombs incoming. You don’t say No to the Hegemon. The Taliban did, just weeks before 9/11. The US “diplomats” told the Taliban they will be back with the military. 16+ years later the Taliban is still fighting America.

Some time ago forces within Israel tried to force Netanyahu to resign because of corruption. I think that was a last hurrah from the less hawkish part of the Israeli Deep State to try and stop the new war.

I’m sure this war is why Tillerson called Trump a moron and jumped ship.

  31. tio

I bought a Genny today amongst other things, I am not happy.

  32. Nothing is going to happen. Why?

Because the fake charges against Assad can’t stand and now that the rush to war is over, the discussion about the proof is at hand and there is zero proof.

So they are going to talk and talk. NATO’s leaders, the Bilderberg gang, want to SCARE US. They are determined to freak out their populations and thus, win more power AT HOME.

THIS IS BACKFIRING BADLY. After a brief scare, people are now angry that nothing useful will happen yet again. That this is stupid and dangerous is now obvious to everyone with a brain.

Mainstream media has no intelligence, it has only tools used by the Bilderberg owners. So they will continue to spit out lies but it is weakening, not strengthening.

Europe has been invaded already. Citizens are anxious not about Syria but about the army of angry Muslim males in all their communities, in all the streets, attacking again and again without warning.

THAT is what European citizens want fixed! This bogus war is not fixing what scares the average European citizen.

  33. Christian W

It is obvious that things are coming apart at the seams for the elites. That only makes them all the more dangerous.

The elites cannot stop and regroup. They are sitting on top of a mountain of lies and deceit.

All their systems are getting more unstable, corrupt and artificial by the day. At the same time they cannot allow change because that would collapse their system.

The fastest way to solve the immigration problem, and many other problems, is peace in Palestine, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, Somalia, Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Yemen, Korea, Ukraine/Russia etc.

The elites know this. But they cannot stop their wars and retreat. Their Empire would collapse. It must have war so war we will get.

  34. Christian W

Look at Trump. He says something about taking home the troops. The next thing he knows is he has a gun to his head on top of an obvious false flag hoax to force his policies.

Hundreds of thousands of Syrian refugees have returned to Aleppo and other parts of Syria liberated from America’s terrorists.

America’s rape of Syria must go on.

  35. Correct, Christian. It was inevitable when Trump announced he wanted out of the Syrian death trap, that the Zionists would engineer a terror attack and falsely blame Assad.

  36. Christian W

Yes. Hand on heart I don’t think Trump is at all the kind of crazy who thirsts for blood and mayhem. The trouble is he is surrounded by people who do, including people with a lot of power in Israel and the US (Netanyahu & Gang + certain Congress & Pentagon critters etc).

What will happen when the Zionists engineer the next false flag?

  37. All my long life, we have had a zillion false flags. I remember when Israel tried to sink a US navy ship offshore of Egypt in the Nixon years and killed around 40 sailors but the ship refused to sink the sailors testified it was Israelis who attacked and…THIS WAS ALL BURIED.

No media coverage, I learned about it from Europe, not the US. This garbage has gone on all my life. Nothing, nothing at all unusual about this. This was done to Cuba, to Russia, to China, it is endless and continues today, nonstop.

Many of today’s actors playing this stupid, dangerous game were young participants in it back in the 1960s.

  38. Christian W

    9/11 was pretty successful though.

  39. Christian W

The game is stupid and dangerous yes.

What will happen if an Israeli sub sinks a US carrier in the Med once the Tomahawks are launched? Russia will of course be blamed instantly and made into a pariah state, kicked out of the UN and SWIFT, complete blockade on all fronts. NATO Turkey will close off the Bosphorus and Russia will be cut off from Syria. Win Win Win for the US and Israel elites, + Erdogan gets a large piece of Syria + loot etc.

Of course Russia will not accept this, but what can they do short of launching an attack on NATO Turkey, which their doctrine calls for, if Turkey closes the Bosphorus?

This is the path to nuclear war.

  40. As I explain in today’s article here, lying about an event has been used for generations. This is how stupid wars are launched. We were supposed to have serious information when going to war. This is constantly violated and emotional hysteria is used, instead.

The easiest war to start is WWIII. This is why it has to be avoided at all costs and of course, when rulers desperately want WWIII, they will get their wishes.

  41. Oh, and why? Well, our own rulers think they will win WWIII via a massive sneak attack. This is also a very old trick.

  42. Lou

    I found this at,

    4014HAMPHEDGE June 11, 2018 at 12:37 pm #

In September 1985 we met with a Chinese visitor, a Mr. Kong Shiao Liu, US Director of Sino American Machinery Corporation, US office in Fort Lee, NJ. He was travelling America in a rental car, and early on, we asked how he was able to travel away from China without a “minder” or in more controlled manner? Mr. Liu gave a short and all-telling answer: ” As a young man, I was with the Chairman on the Long March”…

We were already known as persons concerned with the strategically irrational, systematic abandonment and destruction of the US branch Line railway {think capillaries) matrix. We had written in various venues on the subject, largely ignored in the US rubber tire vision scheme of things. The Chinese then and now were not ignorant of railway mod; so we were on his trip itinerary and were treated to 5-6 hours of smoke-filled (Camel regular) conversation with Mr. Liu over 2 days.

We ended friends, with the knowledge China was going to industrialize on the wings of US investment and American consumers… We were assured China was very interested in the role as counterweight to Russia to the benefit of America… Which may be a helpful line of thinking with some role-reversal as we see a president, no doubt with visions of hotels dancing in his fevered brain, recasting Russia as counterweight to the Chinese Empire.

Sparing the peanut gallery chapter and verse on why America must redo the Branch RR Matrix, simply note this resource: publishes North American Railway line map books showing all-time railway corridor. As in, starting point for independent action among citizen strategic thinkers at the local level, in COLLUSION with the 3000+ US County Planning Bureaus with brain space to consider more robust Famine Hedge food distribution after EMP event. Oh, and west coast Tsunamis owing to Cascade Subduction event and or faster-moving KilaueaHinila Slump, with lava overburden building.

Losing California Great Valley food production for a year or more would put upward pressure on grocery prices… Salt water douche would reduce future yield as well.
