Under Trump, mining for lithium continued uninterrupted. This is the key element for batteries used by all those electric cars we are supposed to be buying under the Biden ‘global warming’ rules. Biden is meeting RIGHT NOW in England with fellow Bilderberg gangsters to urge everyone to use only battery cars while at the same time, Democrats are shutting down lithium mines! This is utterly mindless, of course, as per always with liberals who can’t think straight cause and effect.
Lithium Americas Corp has delayed plans to excavate its Thacker Pass lithium mine site in Nevada, according to court filings, while a federal judge considers whether the former Trump administration erred in approving the project that opponents say could threaten sage grouse and other wildlife.
The delay is the latest setback for the U.S. critical minerals industry as environmentalists pressure courts and regulators to block mining projects from a slew of companies including Pioneer Ltd, Antofagasta Plc, Rio Tinto and others, even if those mines produce metals key to fighting climate change.
So much for the ‘let’s all drive battery driven cars!’ scam. It is rapidly closing down and I warned everyone, you all peasants will soon be begging for ox teams and horses. All of which I used for years and years. I happen to know how to train oxen and horses to pull things! The number of people who know how to handle ox teams is around 0.00001% in the USA.
As soon as Trump was cheated in the last election, conservationists cheered and now are doing their business which is all about shutting down businesses. They have a million reasons to do this and openly talk about eliminating 90% of all humans and ‘restore’ the earth to pre-agricultural era levels that is, at the end of the previous Ice Age levels which is a very low level indeed!
Tucson hired a forester. Miami named a heat officer. And Los Angeles appointed a climate emergency mobilization director. Across the United States, cities have launched new programs focused on dealing with extreme weather, reflecting the growing impacts of climate change on local communities, according to experts.
Cities have ‘worsening heat waves’ due to getting much, much bigger over the last 100 years. In hot places like Florida or Arizona, cities have grown from 20,000 or less 100 years ago to millions of people today! California, even more so. 140 years ago, these hot places had zero air conditioning and zero cars. Heat deaths were many in all Victorian cities back then. Even in my own childhood nearly a century ago, we had few air conditioners in Tucson, we had ‘swamp boxes’ that cooled in low humidity days but didn’t cool in humid August rainy season days.
Heat waves today are no worse than in my hot childhood and that wasn’t as hot as my grandparent’s era in the Southwest. My family lived there since before the Civil War so we have family memories of all the heat waves and the cold cycles, too. 90% of the residents of Arizona’s two biggest cities, Phoenix and Tucson, are recent arrivals.
Everyone I knew who lived there since the Civil War and their children and grandchildren have fled! These places aren’t what they used to be…to us…so maybe eliminating most humans will be nice, eh? Under global warming rules, these places will be eliminated. Up north where i now live will be habitable but only half a year habitable. We would have to do the same thing natives did before 1600 and commute each year from the north to the south and back again.
Except we would have to do this on foot with ox teams and horses!
“In the U.S., heat kills more people every year than any other climate disaster, and climate change, of course, is only making this worse and more urgent,” Levine Cava said.
So the announcement April 30 that Jane Gilbert, the former chief resilience officer for the city of Miami, will tackle the job of chief heat officer — the first of its kind in the world, according to Levine Cava — is welcome news.
“I’ve been in Miami for 26 years and I feel the change here,” Gilbert said. “And we know it’s going to increase exponentially over the next 30 years.”
Gilbert — and co-chair Dr. Cheryl Holder, interim associate dean at Florida International University’s Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine — will head up a heat health task force with partners including municipalities, county departments, healthcare and community-based organizations and universities.
Heat waves do NOT ‘kill more people’ than say, cold weather. Ice and snow kills many via traffic accidents, for example. Historically, cold has killed far more than heat. Hurricanes are nasty but when over, are over. Blizzards remain quite stubbornly via the snow piled up everywhere and this has to be moved, physically, since cold follows blizzards locking the ice and snow in place sometimes for months.
Now on to the coronavirus mess: vaccinations are, in general, highest in the USA. Anti-vaccinationists are working day and night to stop this from continuing. But at least we are at the tipping point and soon, will see fewer deaths and disease:
Very few countries are at 50% vaccinated so far, alas. I hope this improves this summer.
- Thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome (TTS) after Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen (J&J/Janssen) COVID-19 vaccination is rare. As of June 7, 2021, more than 11.2 million doses of the J&J/Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine have been given in the United States. CDC and FDA identified 35 confirmed reports of people who got the J&J/Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine and later developed TTS. There is a plausible causal relationship between J&J/Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine and TTS. Women younger than 50 years old especially should be aware of the rare but increased risk of this adverse event. There are other COVID-19 vaccine options available for which this risk has not been seen. Learn more about J&J/Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine and TTS.
- To date, one confirmed case of TTS following mRNA COVID-19 vaccination (Moderna) has been reported to VAERS after more than 292 million doses of mRNA COVID-19 vaccines administered in the United States. Based on available data, there is not an increased risk for TTS after mRNA COVID-19 vaccination.
- Myocarditis and pericarditis after COVID-19 vaccination are rare. As of June 9, 2021, VAERS has received 623 reports of myocarditis or pericarditis among people ages 30 and younger who received COVID-19 vaccine. Most cases have been reported after mRNA COVID-19 vaccination (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna), particularly in male adolescents and young adults. Through follow-up, including medical record reviews, CDC and FDA have confirmed 268 reports of myocarditis or pericarditis. CDC and its partners are investigating these reports to assess whether there is a relationship to COVID-19 vaccination.
- Reports of death after COVID-19 vaccination are rare. More than 302 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines were administered in the United States from December 14, 2020, through June 7, 2021. During this time, VAERS received 5,208 reports of death (0.0017%) among people who received a COVID-19 vaccine. FDA requires healthcare providers to report any death after COVID-19 vaccination to VAERS, even if it’s unclear whether the vaccine was the cause. A review of available clinical information, including death certificates, autopsy, and medical records, has not established a causal link to COVID-19 vaccines. However, recent reports indicate a plausible causal relationship between the J&J/Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine and TTS, a rare and serious adverse event—blood clots with low platelets—which has caused deaths.
So one of the vaccinations is troubling and I would recommend one get the dual shot deal not the one shot only deal. This is quite different from yelling about how everyone is going to die of the shots which is just silly. I don’t mind people choosing to duel with germs but spreading false information is bad, it is always bad.
Fauci didn’t help any, lying about the disease for months on end. I want him arrested.
