Boulder Colorado Many Homes Burn In High Winds Roaring Off Rocky Mountains

The well named ‘jet stream’ is going across the USA at the 9000 meter elevation at over 160 miles per hour!  At sea level, there is nearly no wind at all but go into the Rocky Mountains or any mountains and it is extremely high.  I lived on mountain top observatories in my childhood and yes, you can get blown off the mountain in winds like this while the valley is relatively quiet below!

This is amazing: yesterday, while media spread gross fears of germs out of control, the new virus, Omni, nearly vanished!  Kaput!  Gone with the wind…ter.  Except for one place: ARIZONA and only one part of Arizona, the Navajo Indian Nation.  Several times this last several months, this reservation and the other reservations saw over 70 deaths in one day.  The vulnerability to all foreign diseases is a particular problem for all the desert tribes due to genetic isolation caused by living in mostly uninhabitable deserts.  The common cold was always a bane to the desert tribes, I grew up around the Papago Tribe in Tucson and saw this first hand.

 

Merry Christmas, Omni Virus Peters Out, Kills Few Victims Compared To Previous Covid 19 Victims

 

The latest covid scare is slowly fading.  Yes, in New York City and Long Island, the disease still takes down a few victims but the death rate is extremely low unlike March, 2020 when a thousand people a day died in the city and Long Island.  Still, panic reigns in the streets in Brooklyn, for example, as scared people mob testing sites, demanding tests!  Ahem, this is a great way to spread germs!  Look at the pictures from the NY Post:
