New Oroville Dam EVACUATION Order Is Barely In The News!

A must-watch video by a geologist explaining how the California water problems are getting worse due to population and farming.
Yes, the snow melt plus another very wet storm is going to menace the people living below this huge watershed.  I would imagine this would be big, big news.  IT IS NOT.  I am amazed at the deterioration in news ability of our mainstream news.  Fake news is like an infectious disease: it spreads socially and it kills huge populations.

Due to popular demand, more Oroville Dam news: DWR to Halt Flows Down Wrecked Spillway Yes, this is news from the last few hours.  We can clearly see from the photo below which was taken yesterday afternoon, that the water level is no longer at flood stage, we can see the brown perimeter of the lake now.  They have to fix the main dam which is what runs the electricity systems and remove tons of flood debris.  Also in the news: France is burning down and the Bilderberg gang is allowing this. Oroville Dam Still Struggling With Epic Flood Waters, UCLA Professor Alex Hall Says Global Warming Will Make It Wetter, Not Drought

A number of people at the You Tube site think this is ‘fake news’ but this is due to them not understanding an emergency dirt road has been built where the road washed away last week and they are now still pouring cement in the big gouges yesterday.  Now on to today’s story about University people being very stupid:  UCLA Professor Alex Hall claims that the Oroville dam disaster is caused by global warming due to NO SNOW in the Sierra Mountains!

Heavy Snow/Rain In Oroville Basin Water Catchment Can Cause Dam Collapses

Video from yesterday, it is morning in California and so far, no videos up yet, expect more in a few hours.  The Oroville Dam has dammed rivers above which feed into the Oroville Dam catchment and these are over 100% full, some are very, very full.  It continues to rain and snow in this part of California in particular.  This is very similar to conditions of 1848 when people were stranded in the deep snow all winter and had to resort to cannibalism.

The Low Pressure System Is Going Right Over Damaged Oroville Dam

screen-shot-2017-02-17-at-8-38-59-am

The gods of Nature have a sense of dark humor.  California has been praying for rain.  And now has it in spades.  And as the dams struggle to deal with all this rain and snow, more comes piling in.  And guess what?  The dam operators are going to slow down the discharge of water.

Governor Moonbeam Demands Trump Save California From Stupid Dam Mistakes

screen-shot-2017-02-15-at-10-30-44-am

Hoover dam in the Grand Canyon region, is a Federal run business.  The Oroville Dam, on the other hand, is not.  It is owned by the State of California!  Yet today, I saw this headline at Google Left Wing News:  If Trump wants to make America great again, he can start by fixing the Oroville Dam. A story by Yahoo News.  Yahoo is a super liberal, dying operation on the West Coast.  And all the hot shot computer lunatics live there in La La Land of volcanoes and earthquakes, huge forest fires and meteor strikes and all sorts of geological/astronomical hazards and they want the rest of us to fix everything when reality hits.  That is, save them all the time from their own poor planning or foresight like building houses on cliffs on the ocean.

Lessons Of The Great Johnstown Flood Forgotten In California

Race to save badly damaged California dam before MORE rainfall: Second storm is set to hit the tallest dam in America in 48 hours and could cause devastating 100ft deep flood that will leave 200,000 homeless. I hope no one has gone home, the dam is very dangerous now and this is due to human incompetence for they got greedy and decided to keep back the water when it was way over the 30% below total fill point.
