Dreier, Lawyer, Actor and Scam Artist, Pleads Guilty

Love modern artAs I keep saying, ‘Arrest them all!’ and one by one, they are being arrested.  But not nearly enough.  There should be mass arrests.  Mazilo of Countrywide, for example, is still at large.  Marc Dreier, the Man of Many Faces suddenly decided to plead guilty.  We will look back at this particular scamster to see how he operated.  And I am happy that in 2006, one of the hedge funds that enabled this crook, looked to me like a fraud, too.   Continue reading

Yet ANOTHER ‘Goodfellas’ scam operation comes to light!  As with all the previous scams, the guys ginning it up are very friendly and have great reports so long as money is flowing in, not out.  But when the money flows out, suddenly, they have none at all since they do no trades, have no investments and have eaten the entire sums entrusted to them!  Time to visit Paul Greenwood and Seve Walsh, to con artists who should be strung up. There seems to be this odd compulsion for criminals to be out there, in the open, in the public eye.  They like to be in many places and admired by everyone they meet.  Madoff’s wife is in the news again.  She was so helpless, she had to go to the bank to withdraw many millions of dollars the day before papa Madoff had to confess to his sons, the business was all a racket.  Of course, this makes her an accessory to a crime.  Two other con men were arrested today and they ran a much smaller ponzi scheme.  But followed the exact same rules and systems Madoff used.  The case of Reba Joseph Shereshevsky is interesting because it shows how religious/ethnic con games operate under the cover of the omerta of an immigrant group.
