EU And US Media/Diplomats Lie About Putin At G20 Meeting

The lies flow endlessly.  Putin is target #1 of many lies and propaganda stories this year. I strongly suspect this is due to him protecting Snowden.  Every single thing Putin does is put under this warped microscope while others get to do as they please, particularly Obama.  The Chinese leaders get pretty much the same treatment.  Undiplomatic gestures and words are aimed at both while childish diplomats think they are very clever doing this.  The price we pay is severe: all other G20 nations also have trade surpluses with the US so they let us be the baby at the banquet.

Putin Said to Plan Early G-20 Exit as Ukraine Casts Shadow is a propaganda storyline spread thick as peanut butter all over the Western media.  Oh, he is FLEEING due to the G20 NATO nations being rude to him!  Right-o…

Dmitry Peskov, Putin’s spokesman, said by phone he couldn’t rule out an early departure for the president if the working part of the G-20 agenda was over because he has meetings “on Monday in Moscow and the flight is very long.”

Luckily, I didn’t have to go to Russian media to learn the truth.  It seems that the storyline is pure wishful thinking because Putin actually is NOT leaving early at all:  Putin Under Fire Over Ukraine At G-20 Summit

…But Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov denied any such plans, saying: “This is wrong. The president is taking part in all the (G20) events.”…

Putin Under Fire Over Ukraine At G-20 Summit”I guess I’ll shake your hand but I have only one thing to say to you: you need to get out of Ukraine,” Harper told Putin at the summit in Brisbane, Australia, according to his spokesman Jason MacDonald…

Putin’s isolation was evident with his placing on the outer edge for the formal G20 leaders’ photograph. While Obama and Chinese Premier Xi Jinping were met by Australia’s governor general and attorney general when they arrived in Brisbane, Putin was greeted by the assistant defense minister.

Yes, the Bilderberg gang hates this guy and yes, they would do crude ‘let’s make fun of him in pictures’ which the Bilderberg does to former President Carter, too.  Put him to one side in any pictures or cut his picture out a la 1984.

All this wonderful NATO hatred of Putin has consequences:  World Economy Worst in Two Years, Europe Darkening, Deflation Lurking: Global Investor Poll but of course, workers will have to pay for crappy diplomacy.

Recently there have been democracy demonstrations against the Chinese leaders in Hong Kong which got loving coverage but note here how this event is totally ignored by NATO country media:  Riot police raid Kyoto University after 3 activists arrested ‹ Japan Today: Japan News and Discussion

Fascism is rising fast in Japan.  SPECIAL REPORT-Tsunami evacuees caught in $30 billion Japan money trap as nearly all the money for rebuilding Japan is parked in banks to keep these zombie lenders alive.

Europe continues to writhe due to immigration problems:  ‘Xenophobic’ violence in Rome forces evacuation of kids, riot police action and in England, Northampton unemployed outraged over sandwich factory’s ‘insult’ as the business goes to Poland to recruit workers while British subjects go without jobs.  UKIP is seriously taking power from both Labour and Tories due to this sort of thing.

Putin isn’t the problem here.

A spokesman for the Canadian Prime Minister relayed the details of the encounter and, according to director of communications Jason MacDonald, “Mr. Putin did not respond positively.”- Globe and Mail.

Oh to be a fly on the wall… or a fly drone.

Thanks for looking into that, Elaine.

Gonna be a long cold winter in Europe . . .

I noticed that they keep mentioning MH17, but always as an aside. They don’t want any direct discussion of the facts (which don’t support their story), but are happy to imply that ‘everybody knows Putin shot down MH17″.

The frightening reality is that our neocons want a limited nuclear war with Russia and are fomenting problems with China through the Hong Kong unrest.
We have a stinker for an economic system that doesn’t work but we can’t abide competition—so we will not back down from the model we know doesn’t work.
Instead we will dig in our heels and go for Thanatosian broke!
Hilary or the Repub counterpart will bring this about. In that sense, there is no air between these two bankster/corporatist party duopoly.

The US is also supporting Islamist terrorist organizations that have claimed responsiblity for attacks in China (the Turkistan Islamic Party (TIP)).

The Chinese have started to support Assad in Syria directly with military presence in the Black Sea, jointly with Russia, arms shipments and financial support.

Meanwhile Chuck Hagel calls for more US spending on military muscle and power profjection:

“Wary of a more muscular Russia and China, Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel said Saturday the Pentagon will make a new push for fresh thinking about how the U.S. can keep and extend its military superiority despite tighter budgets and the wear and tear of 13 years of war.

Hagel announced a “defense innovation initiative” that he likened to historic and successful campaigns during the Cold War to offset military advantages of U.S. adversaries. He described a “game-changing” strategy to sharpen American’s military edge in the face of budget impasses on Capitol Hill.

“We must change the way we innovate, operate and do business,” he told a defense forum at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.”

The logical result of this relentless US push for dominance through beating down percieved opponents is a shooting war. The US is incapable of backing down because doing so will instantly crash The Holy US System. At the same time the US is growing weaker and weaker it is trying harder and harder to push through to an imagined victory. Madness.

Canada’s Prime Minister Harper made a total fool of himself at the G20. Swaggering around and pretending to be a tough guy. Insulting Putin diplomatically. This clueless clown has methodically destroyed a tradition of Canadian professional diplomacy while in office.

Has any empire ever backed down? Some say the USSR did, but they received payments from the West right before they collapsed.

I wonder if the US could accept payment of its debt to back down? I somehow doubt it because the leaders do not consider this debt to be their own. It belongs to the little people (peasants).

The British Empire never backed down, and their capital was eventually bombed into rubble and their home country invaded and occupied by the rising US Empire.

I don’t see our capital being bombed except by nuclear weapons, so I think the other possibility is a Soviet style financial collapse, but with much more internal violence afterwards. The two oceans tend to protect us from a lot of things — except ourselves.

    @Henry,
Yep, he sure did. Not that I’m proud of the clown in the monkey suit representing us in the U.S. either. But I was embarrassed for Canada. Harper looked like a high school sophomore at a sock hop in search of a fight.

But that is how diplomacy is done today! Like a ghetto high school. 🙂

    Food for thought:

Look, up in the sky, is it a bird, is it a plane, no, it’s Super Putin. He is single handedly taking on the evil bankers and winning.

    ΩΩΩ

ELAINE: I seldom read anything as utterly widdershins and backwards upside down as that article. Totally insane from top to bottom!

I hovered over the link for a second, saw ‘thecommonsenseshow’ and didn’t click. Such a claim encoded in its name is usually specious.

But thought I’d post this. Pepe Escobar sums it up in an op ed on RT:
    http://rt.com/op-edge/206083-g20-summit-brics-economy/

Imperial arrogance and buffoonery apart, Putin did meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel for over three hours. They discussed Ukraine, essentially. No leaks. So Putin met and talked with all the adults that matter: the BRICS and Merkel. There was nothing else to do, business-wise.

In the Russian President’s own words: “It will take nine hours to fly to Vladivostok and another eight hours to get to Moscow. I need four hours sleep before I get back to work on Monday. We have completed our business.”

Oh goodness. That was the cue for Western corporate media go absolutely bonkers spinning the ‘isolated figure’ fled the G20 in shame.

  13. emsnews

Merkel is facing hell at home thanks to the boycott which is hitting Germany hard, In France, some unions and farmers are up in arms over the boycott, it is hitting them very hard, too.

So, the idea that Putin is a sock puppet of the banksters is insane? Hmmmm. How about the Chinese also being in on the bankster theater?

China’s complicity in building the Rockefeller New World Order, in their own words
