The H1N1 flu continues to kill young people. Far from dropping, the numbers are rising. What is particularly horrible is how suddenly a thriving, young person can go from being ‘normal’ to suddenly dying….this is no joke. This isn’t some dissatisfied cheerleader who gets a shot and then can run backwards. These are DEAD CHILDREN. Who would dearly love to run backwards. Or just live, for that matter. I am including a long excerpt from the Canadian news that details exactly how a young hockey player died in his father’s arms. It is heartbreaking.
Father struggles with son’s death from flu – The Globe and Mail
It had all happened so quickly. On Saturday, his 13-year-old son Evan was sick with the flu, but still playing hockey. By Monday morning, Mr. Frustaglio was holding his son’s limp body in his arms, trying frantically to revive him. .
After patiently giving dozens of interviews, the grief finally overwhelmed him. As he embraced a friend outside his home, he let out a long, painful cry that echoed along the quiet suburban street. .
“My boy is gone,” he said. “My God, my baby. He’s gone.”… .
…Around 2 p.m., she took him to a walk-in clinic at the Six Points plaza in Etobicoke. The clinic is an MCI Doctor’s Office, part of a chain of clinics in Ontario, Alberta and B.C. Evan vomited while he waited to be seen. .
“The doctor said his lungs are fine and that he’s breathing okay. He’s got slight redness in his throat. But he didn’t feel at this juncture there was any reason to prescribe any medications like antibiotics or Tamiflu,” Mr. Frustaglio said. .
Evan continued to vomit overnight. By Monday morning, he was feeling a little better. Around 11 a.m., he asked his father to draw him a bath. .
“I just wasn’t happy with the way he took the bath. He went from him being reasonable in the morning to lethargic. He had a sort of heat rash on his leg. I said I don’t like that. Father’s intuition, I just didn’t feel good about it,” he said. .
A few minutes later, Mr. Frustaglio was about to dial his family doctor when he heard the patter of his son’s feet returning to the bathroom. .
I said, “Evan where are you going? And he said, “I’m just going to the bathroom, Dad.” I said, ‘You okay?’ and he said, “Yeah, I’m okay.” .
Mr. Frustaglio walked downstairs to find Evan curled up on the floor. At first he thought he was trying to ease his fever on the cool, marble tile. He tried to help his son to his feet. .
“I start picking him up and he collapses. And that’s it,” his father said, fighting back tears. “The way he collapsed in my arms, he had nothing. His body just went limp.” .
Paramedics arrived within minutes to rush Evan to hospital, but he never regained consciousness.

I grit my teeth, reading this tragic story. This isn’t someone who claims that felt this or that after a flu shot. This is a direct cause and effect moment: the disease killed this child with tremendous speed. It is a strange disease. It doesn’t kill everyone showing the same symptoms. It kills with a certain frivolity which is why it doesn’t have the kill rate of say, dengue fever.

Thanks to the internet, half of the populace has become convinced that there is either no real epidemic or that flu shots will do nasty things like make you run backwards while yakking. Well, guess what? This is DAMN SERIOUS. We get to play ‘Darwin’s Lottery’ if we just sit idle and ignore this disease. Or use all sorts of nostrums that are utterly ineffective. Again: this boy died with virtually NO WARNING. He was able to walk forwards and talk as well as take a bath, minutes before he collapsed and died on the spot. I can’t tell everyone who frightful I find this news. I have young adult children and I worry about this. A lot.

Well, this week we are beginning to see the first agitations for more vaccinations as the 49% of parents are waking up to reality. When the other 51% change their minds at the last minute, we will see a stampede.

Taylor Mitchell, a singer-songwriter from Toronto, was attacked by coyotes in Cape Breton and has died in hospital. .
She was hiking alone on the Skyline trail in Cape Breton Highlands National Park on Tuesday when she was attacked by two coyotes. Other hikers walking behind her heard her cries for help and called 911. .
She was airlifted to hospital in Halifax, listed in critical condition, but she succumbed to her injuries early this morning.

She was only 18 years old. She was not as irritable and mean as myself. When I go hiking, even when young, I took along a slingshot and walking staff. I used the slingshot a great deal on domestic dogs, coyotes, a mountain lion, rattlers and most of all, creepy male humans. Since I used this slingshot a lot, I had pretty good aim. And the desert was full of sharp rocks.

But the main thing here is how coyotes are getting much bolder. Just last week, I was startled out of my slumber by the screams of a pack of coyotes ripping up someone’s pet dog down in the village below. My own dogs rushed outside and began barking like crazy. I couldn’t shoot at them since it was too dark and they were across the road. But if they come up here, I will shoot at them, they kill livestock.

Just one month ago, in Chatham, I was working on a property there and my boss and I saw this gangly, tall wolf-like coyote amble across the road. We both put down our tools and whistled. Wow. I never saw one that big before. Due to a drop off in hunting and trapping, all sorts of wild game are abounding from deer to coyotes. Just three days ago, I was up in the deep woods, hauling out fallen oak branches the size of small trees and stumbled upon six deer in one small glade.

Nature is beautiful but also red in tooth and claw. We can’t roam around, blissfully unaware of this. Just as we must take care when dealing with nature’s smallest and most insidious killers, germs.

The coyotes in the North-East are supposedly wolf-coyote crosses. The theory is that coyotes migrated to the North-East U.S. from the west, through Canada, and picked up some wolf along the way. I saw one outside Walpole, MA. It was German Shepherd-sized. My son saw one near Wellesley High School, in a very populated area in MA.
And as for turmeric, even though it is fantastically yellow, most pickle manufacturers would rather use Yellow #5, which I consider nasty.
@Elaine and Larry, dfh: I lived in Arlington, Mass. in the 1990s and read about coyotes moving into the Commonwealth (Mass.). Now ten to fifteen years later they’re in the suburbs outside of Rte. 128! How long before they’ll be in Dorchester and Quincy?????

Also got the family vaccinated except the infant. Apparently they won’t give the vaccine to anyone under six months because infants can sometimes have additional vulnerabilities and reactions to vaccines that need to be tested. But testing hasn’t occurred for the H1N1 vaccine since it’s been out even though H1N1 is arguably most lethal to infants. Those in contact with infants apparently get priority for the vaccine, however. Overall, it seems poorly planned.
Distribution management is worse. I can understand rationing to emergency workers first. But I’ve seen vaccination stations set up at fire-stations in wealthy towns without any news coverage that I haven’t seen set up in poorer towns. I hope I just missed something and that isn’t the norm.
Interestingly, some of the anti-vaccination folks of various belief systems who declined the vaccination are clamoring for it now that supplies are short and there are news of infrequent deaths. . .

I’ll focus on the influenza vaccines here . Influenza viruses need living cells in order to replicate. Big Pharma uses eggs to replicate these viruses for use in vaccines.
But to say they use ” eggs” is a huge lie of omission. That’s just Big Pharma’s sanitized version of reality, because eggs are merely the containers for what they DO use- 11-13 day old chicken embryos. And they use a very specific part of the embryo called the allantois. The allantois is part of the embryo’s excretory system.
After the flu viruses have replicated for 2-3 days within the chick’s allantoic sac, the embryos are killed by chilling ( to avoid further contamination of the allantoic fluid through hemmorhagic leaking).
The allantoic fluids are now ready for harvesting. These fluids are rich in replicated influenza viruses …..and equally rich in the pathogens and viruses inherent within the chick embryo itself.

Progestin has side-effects, progesterone does not (unless you are Manny Ramirez), according to what I’ve read. In the end, it’s all about the ‘intellectual property’, not about health and wellness.

Now that that’s settled… we have to recognize there are tradeoffs in life. As a salubrious side-effect of all that profiteering, we have stuff like fast internet connections, well-supplied groceries, etc. – and five-year survival rates for many forms of cancer are really pretty good.
Curry is my favourite dish…we have a massive stock of spices here. In France it is difficult to get a good curry so I make my own from base.

I just watched an interview of a 19 year old boy who was hospitalized due to H1N1.
He had no asthma or pre-existing conditions. He was really beaten down and miserable.
This thing hits young people under 30 and it is severe and it seems to hit young people the same way it did in 1918. We will never get the same number of dead as we did in 1918 due to medical advances but this can kill and it spreads faster in cold climates.
It seems to spread superfast when the temperature goes below 0 degrees. It exploded in Lapland and the north of my country last week.
Here we will get it countrywide in 2-3 weeks and so far we had time to vaccinate only the medical staff and pregnant women.

But we don’t know the REAL numbers anyway. CDC officials do not keep an exact count of all U.S. swine flu deaths, but say the number has surpassed 1,000.

I guess you don’t recall when bird flu in 2005 was supposed to kill us. That was a failed attempt as well.
In 2005 the World Health Organization (WHO) predicted that up to 150 million people could die from bird flu, which unleashed worldwide panic. When the death toll was tallied, there were only 262 deaths. Obviously, the prediction was totally wrong. In the face of swine flu in 2009-10 we should not make the same mistake. Avoiding panic is essential. It’s absurd to panic about swine flu, especially since it won’t cause severe disease in many people. The current WHO messages, which are increasing fear of swine flu is a form of disease mongering.
In front of the menace of avian flu, in 2005, the Canadian Government had two goals, 1/ to decrease mortality and 2/ to avoid social chaos. For swine flu goal number one should not be a problem because of its LOW severity. The second goal calls for a strong policy of calmness and accurate information for both professionals and public. The present messages by Governments, the WHO and the media focusing on the worst case scenario and the detailed description of each death is the COMPLETELY WRONG approach to fulfil the second goal. We need a health policy of common sense and self-control.

It’s important to remember that children (and adults) can have other illnesses besides swine flu. In the United Kingdom there have been cases of children dying from meningitis after being falsely diagnosed with swine flu.
But the media reports it as a swine flu death and you, Elaine, regurgiate that nonsense here running around waving your arms with your hair on fire yelling that the sky is falling.

The H1N1 death that caused a ripple of anxiety in much of Quebec…may not be due to the flu (CJAD Montreal – Oct. 31, 2009)
Quebec’s chieff public health officer says a young teenager who died in Ontario earlier this week may not have been killed by H1N1.
Evan Frustaglio did test positive for H1N1, but Doctor Alain Poirier says the fact that his health went downhill so quickly has led some experts to wonder whether there was some other factor in his death.
“It could be something else,” Poirier says. “It has been described as, he had H1N1, he died suddenly. There’s been no other test to verify what was the actual cause of death, like an autopsy.”
Poirier says some experts are speculating that meningitis or a bacterial infection may have actually killed him. We will never know, he says, because the teenager’s grieving family has chosen not to allow a further investigation into his death.
“That doesn’t change the reality that you could die of H1N1 at any age,” says Poirier. “People understand now that H1N1 is a real problem. You’ll see some other images like that, sad images.”
So. We won’t know. Experts can’t perform a post mortem at his parent’s request. But the media is clearly sticking to and is reporting that it was solely H1N1 that killed that teen in Toronto last Monday when the youngsters death very well may have been due to underlying conditions.

And in Europe, it is believed that four seniors with underlying health issues have died after receiving the Pandemrix vaccine, the one that is similar to Canada’s Arepanrix. Neither vaccine has been tested on children under 18 years, people over 60 years of age, pregnant women and people with health conditions.

The Age of Autism: ‘A pretty big secret’

It’s a far piece from the horse-and-buggies of Lancaster County, Pa., to the cars and freeways of Cook County, Ill.
But thousands of children cared for by Homefirst Health Services in metropolitan Chicago have at least two things in common with thousands of Amish children in rural Lancaster: They have never been vaccinated. And they don’t have autism.
“We have a fairly large practice. We have about 30,000 or 35,000 children that we’ve taken care of over the years, and I don’t think we have a single case of autism in children delivered by us who never received vaccines,” said Dr. Mayer Eisenstein, Homefirst’s medical director who founded the practice in 1973. Homefirst doctors have delivered more than 15,000 babies at home, and thousands of them have never been vaccinated.
The few autistic children Homefirst sees were vaccinated before their families became patients, Eisenstein said. “I can think of two or three autistic children who we’ve delivered their mother’s next baby, and we aren’t really totally taking care of that child — they have special care needs. But they bring the younger children to us. I don’t have a single case that I can think of that wasn’t vaccinated.”
The autism rate in Illinois public schools is 38 per 10,000, according to state Education Department data; the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention puts the national rate of autism spectrum disorders at 1 in 166 — 60 per 10,000.
“We do have enough of a sample,” Eisenstein said. “The numbers are too large to not see it. We would absolutely know. We’re all family doctors. If I have a child with autism come in, there’s no communication. It’s frightening. You can’t touch them. It’s not something that anyone would miss.”
No one knows what causes autism, but federal health authorities say it isn’t childhood immunizations. Some parents and a small minority of doctors and scientists, however, assert vaccines are responsible.
This column has been looking for autism in never-vaccinated U.S. children in an effort to shed light on the issue. We went to Chicago to meet with Eisenstein at the suggestion of a reader, and we also visited Homefirst’s office in northwest suburban Rolling Meadows. Homefirst has four other offices in the Chicago area and a total of six doctors.
Eisenstein stresses his observations are not scientific. “The trouble is this is just anecdotal in a sense, because what if every autistic child goes somewhere else and (their family) never calls us or they moved out of state?”
In practice, that’s unlikely to account for the pronounced absence of autism, says Eisenstein, who also has a bachelor’s degree in statistics, a master’s degree in public health and a law degree.
Homefirst follows state immunization mandates, but Illinois allows religious exemptions if parents object based either on tenets of their faith or specific personal religious views. Homefirst does not exclude or discourage such families. Eisenstein, in fact, is author of the book “Don’t Vaccinate Before You Educate!” and is critical of the CDC’s vaccination policy in the 1990s, when several new immunizations were added to the schedule, including Hepatitis B as early as the day of birth. Several of the vaccines — HepB included — contained a mercury-based preservative that has since been phased out of most childhood vaccines in the United States.
Medical practices with Homefirst’s approach to immunizations are rare. “Because of that, we tend to attract families that have questions about that issue,” said Dr. Paul Schattauer, who has been with Homefirst for 20 years and treats “at least” 100 children a week.
Schattauer seconded Eisenstein’s observations. “All I know is in my practice I don’t see autism. There is no striking 1-in-166,” he said.
Earlier this year we reported the same phenomenon in the mostly unvaccinated Amish. CDC Director Dr. Julie Gerberding told us the Amish “have genetic connectivity that would make them different from populations that are in other sectors of the United States.” Gerberding said, however, studies “could and should be done” in more representative unvaccinated groups — if they could be found and their autism rate documented.
Chicago is America’s prototypical “City of Big Shoulders,” to quote Carl Sandburg, and Homefirst’s mostly middle-class families seem fairly representative. A substantial number are conservative Christians who home-school their children. They are mostly white, but the Homefirst practice also includes black and Hispanic families and non-home-schooling Jews, Catholics and Muslims.
They tend to be better educated, follow healthier diets and breast-feed their children much longer than the norm — half of Homefirst’s mothers are still breast-feeding at two years. Also, because Homefirst relies less on prescription drugs including antibiotics as a first line of treatment, these children have less exposure to other medicines, not just vaccines.
Schattauer, interviewed at the Rolling Meadows office, said his caseload is too limited to draw conclusions about a possible link between vaccines and autism. “With these numbers you’d have a hard time proving or disproving anything,” he said. “You can only get a feeling about it.
“In no way would I be an advocate to stand up and say we need to look at vaccines, because I don’t have the science to say that,” Schattauer said. “But I don’t think the science is there to say that it’s not.”
Schattauer said Homefirst’s patients also have significantly less childhood asthma and juvenile diabetes compared to national rates. An office manager who has been with Homefirst for 17 years said she is aware of only one case of severe asthma in an unvaccinated child.
“Sometimes you feel frustrated because you feel like you’ve got a pretty big secret,” Schattauer said. He argues for more research on all those disorders, independent of political or business pressures.
The asthma rate among Homefirst patients is so low it was noticed by the Blue Cross group with which Homefirst is affiliated, according to Eisenstein.
“In the alternative-medicine network which Homefirst is part of, there are virtually no cases of childhood asthma, in contrast to the overall Blue Cross rate of childhood asthma which is approximately 10 percent,” he said. “At first I thought it was because they (Homefirst’s children) were breast-fed, but even among the breast-fed we’ve had asthma. We have virtually no asthma if you’re breast-fed and not vaccinated.”
Because the diagnosis of asthma is based on emergency-room visits and hospital admissions, Eisenstein said, Homefirst’s low rate is hard to dispute. “It’s quantifiable — the definition is not reliant on the doctor’s perception of asthma.”
Several studies have found a risk of asthma from vaccination; others have not. Studies that include never-vaccinated children generally find little or no asthma in that group.
Earlier this year Florida pediatrician Dr. Jeff Bradstreet said there is virtually no autism in home-schooling families who decline to vaccinate for religious reasons — lending credence to Eisenstein’s observations.
“It’s largely non-existent,” said Bradstreet, who treats children with autism from around the country. “It’s an extremely rare event.”
Bradstreet has a son whose autism he attributes to a vaccine reaction at 15 months. His daughter has been home-schooled, he describes himself as a “Christian family physician,” and he knows many of the leaders in the home-school movement.
“There was this whole subculture of folks who went into home-schooling so they would never have to vaccinate their kids,” he said. “There’s this whole cadre who were never vaccinated for religious reasons.”
In that subset, he said, “unless they were massively exposed to mercury through lots of amalgams (mercury dental fillings in the mother) and/or big-time fish eating, I’ve not had a single case.”
Federal health authorities and mainstream medical groups emphatically dismiss any link between autism and vaccines, including the mercury-based preservative thimerosal. Last year a panel of the Institute of Medicine, part of the National Academies, said there is no evidence of such a link, and funding should henceforth go to “promising” research.
Thimerosal, which is 49.6 percent ethyl mercury by weight, was phased out of most U.S. childhood immunizations beginning in 1999, but the CDC recommends flu shots for pregnant women and last year began recommending them for children 6 to 23 months old. Most of those shots contain thimerosal.
Thimerosal-preserved vaccines are currently being injected into millions of children in developing countries around the world. “My mandate … is to make sure at the end of the day that 100,000,000 are immunized … this year, next year and for many years to come … and that will have to be with thimerosal-containing vaccines,” said John Clements of the World Health Organization at a June 2000 meeting called by the CDC.
That meeting was held to review data that thimerosal might be linked with autism and other neurological problems. But in 2004 the Institute of Medicine panel said evidence against a link is so strong that health authorities, “whether in the United States or other countries, should not include autism as a potential risk” when formulating immunization policies.
But where is the simple, straightforward study of autism in never-vaccinated U.S. children? Based on our admittedly anecdotal and limited reporting among the Amish, the home-schooled and now Chicago’s Homefirst, that may prove to be a significant omission.

I was a fight then and it’s a fight now. The product may be different, but it does the same damage. But, just like cigarettes, the damage is not immediate. It occurs over time.

Which is why we should go to our doctors for vaccinations. But distribution systems don’t work so hot and there are limited shots available.
In ALL health systems errors occur. So this is why we need BETTER systems not NO systems. You want to find every possible mistake and use it as an excuse to have NOTHING AT ALL.
